Hi EVO Brothers,

In an effort to cut more efficiently I have started doing cardio for 30 minutes after my weight training. My question is, should I have my whey isolate after weight training to hit the anabolic window or just wait until cardio is done? I don't want to miss the window but also don't love cardio after downing 20 oz of liquid.

Just take your shake when your cardio is done. There is no magical window immediately post workout to get your protein in. As long as you get your post workout nutrition in a timely manner within an hour or two, no harm

IMO take dspark preworkout...train, then do cardio...after wait 10 minutes and hit a massive protein/carb dose with some n2slin...thats how I roll bro...;)
 
i always hit post workout cardio as well even though i do the majority before... i always wait until cardio is finished... you are still using muscles while you are doing cardio... one thing i definitely do is take bcaas and glutamine before cardio though however i take my isolate after cardio... im not sure what your using for isolate but you should check out isolation at www.n2bm.com... its some of the highest quality isolate you can find...
 
wait till after cardio, you will most likely feel sick, doing cardio after digesting a big protein drink

try to keep it under 350 cals as well.
 
If you’re using a good hydrolyzed whey with water you should have no problem with it especially if you’re doing low impact cardo you will have to see what works best for you
 
like Dylan said, with cardio you're still using your muscles so in my theory the "window" wouldn't start til after anyway.

I always drink my stuff after the routine.Why? I don't like the mop and the bucket clean-up!
 
I have recently been finishing my weight training immediately drinking my protein shake, then do cardio after cardio I take my post workout sups and dextrose. I do this because I eat my last meal about an hour aftermy post workout supps and don't want to take my protein and immediately follow it with a meal
 
card load before the workout. 30 minutes to an Hour. lift, cardio. then down a protein shake. Theres no need to stress over a window. as long as your not waiting all day to get any kind of nutrition in. you'll be fine.
 
if you want to throw up during your cardio then yeah drink a heavy protein shake.

drink just water before hand.

Yeah, I cant really eat too much or drink anything for that matter before I train. I can hear it rollin around in my stomach. I will either eat a hour plus before i train, and take a shake up to 30 min after I finish
 
I would wait until cardio is done to hit the whey. You'll still get it in in plenty of time.
