Yes im a believer. For me it gives life a purpose, some meaning, a hope that theres something better after this life
 
Rhasta man. I believe if religion makes you a better person:thumbup::thumbup:. However i've known alot of "christians" who get drunk and beat their wives everyday and then thump their bible on sunday. :thumbdown::thumbdown:

I feel the same. I could have never had a family. I would have been dead or be in prison. Like most of the guys I ran with. I am thankful He saved me.

Same here man. Had a good friend come to me with heroin addiction and i never kept in touch. Keeps me up at night. Didn't realize it til later that i coulda been a chance for him.
 
Yes I believe in god. Although I don't go to church as I was forced to as a child so it ruined for me. However I talk to god all the time and thank him for my health and for my healthy child. And I live whatever path he has set for me because he knows what he is doing and I trust him.

Although sometimes I wonder why he leads me certain directions but I still have faith that its a journey he feels I need to take.

So I'm all in I never question I just push forth and overcome .....

I believe in God. I always have always will. I think its interesting thou that in today's world that is so technologically advanced, no one reads the bible. It is printed more than any other book, written in almost every language, you can download it for free on the internet yet most people have never read it. Scary. That is human nature for you thou. God has made it so ever easy for us. All we have to do is pick the book up, read it and we will know the TRUTH. Yet, people would rather create their OWN RELIGION or not have one at all.

Wise!,.....go into a book store and review all the 'Self Help books'.........when as you stated.....read the Bible... God's word will lead you through any challenge.. and provide answers for all of life's questions......

So I say......yes... Christians are NO different from anyone else........ALL have sinned and fell short of the glory of GOD.. hence why he sent Jesus Christ his son to die on the cross for the sins of ALL mankind.... accepting Jesus as your personal lord and savior and confession of sins is the 'ticket to heaven'.. read the Bible...

Just like Matthew Chapter 24.. which speaks of the events that will be on-going to show what to expect in the last days........read it.. then ask yourself?..... would you rather not believe in GOD?..... what will it cost you?....what will you benefit?....the answers are in the Bible!...

and sure I agree with what's been said.. being a Christian or believing in GOD does not make us perfect... we're just FORGIVEN.

I was raised in church and taight christianity from a young age, I believe in God ans the whole 9 yards, what I do not believe in is church, every church I have ever gone to has had so many bad things going on in them i.e. stealig money, drugs, rape, twofaced people, im better than you people, I do not like to surround myself by people bringing me down so imma keep working on myself and skip the negativity

I believe in god ...I pray everyday and for others....often wonder if the ones I pray for when pray themselves and if they don't I hope mine helps even if it's only a little ..you never know you pray for another and they're having a shit day ...may just make it a little better

That is what scares me. My gf and i believe but she likes getting involved and i hate when the ppl up top are manipulative. My thing is if the pastor or minister is driving a car that costs more in a car payment than my mortgage there is a major issue with that.

Agree, I was raised in a smal church~ 70 people max, loved it, had good interactions and no drama. Now my wife wants me to go to this church with like 15,000 people, they have like 4 sancuaries, its as big as the mall, i cant stand it. Usually the sermons are begging for money for a multinillion dollar expansion...

The church is the body of believers. If it wasn't for God then how could I deal with all these haters out here. If God wasn't there I wouldn't feel him when the wind blows. When problems come up, you got haters knocking at your door beggin for you to stumble, I take that junk straight to the foundation.

2 KINGS chapter 2. 23-25 it's crazy
Or read about Sampson killing hundreds of men with a donkey's jaw bone. It's a very interesting book and once you read it, I think your eyes will be opened.
