  • Still eating the same but adding/trying carbs to 150g - still not working and getting super bloated all day - might have celiac or my gut biome has lost it's ability to deal with carbs LOL

  • Not logging every workout but loved today's deadlifts

Deadlifts looked strong, pulling 4 plates for 5 and then dropping back to 2 plates for a burnout shows you’re holding power while still leaning down. Very strong :D

Protein sitting above 450 g with fats 200–250 g is heavy intake, so no wonder you’re maintaining size, but carbs at 150 g causing that much bloat means you should definitely trial potatoes and fruit instead of forcing rice or grains. Though you should consider yams, sweet potatoes as an alt. @HarleyGuy

stick with the gyno protocol through mid-October, then reassess bloods once you’ve pulled it. We can see the situation more clear.

Yeah it will prevent post meal stomach issues in a lot of cases

Indirectly it can help do that yes. It's one of the best supplements to help control blood glucose levels and insulin sensitivity. So I take extra now since I'm introducing carbs to keep my insulin sensitivity in check. It's also a good supplement for lipids and gut microbiome but best for blood glucose management.

do you notice with the nutrobal before bed it aids sleep? do you wake up more hungry? @HarleyGuy i tried using it before bed and it knocked me out

great job on this deadlifting. @HarleyGuy The thing about deadlifting that people don't understand, is you work every muscle in your body. It's a great way to get an overall workout.

Before I was put on the meds I'm on now for Operator Syndrome (which ensure I sleep and sleep like a log) I did find nutrobal caused deeper sleep and even lasted well into the next day. Even now if I take 20mg I can feel the lethargy the next day so I bumped it down to 10mg. This time around I had semaglutide on board but before that it would make my binging be insane yes for sure!

I think we touched on training but a lot of it was about my story and overcoming addiction and taking that high adrenaline alpha personality and applying it to the gym and learning about the science of bodybuilding as a better addiction.

My training is a modified Mike Mentzer style where I warm up pyramiding heavier to a final heavy set to complete failure with less than 5-6 reps focusing on form and stretch and a power concentric with a slow eccentric then immediately strip weight and burnout to failure with a much lighter weight for one last complete burnout set.

Never heard of that one. TBH most peptides are kind of a waste of money. And the ones that REALLY work are expensive hahahaha.

I’m going to check it out though, see what it’s about.
I really do think a lot of the peptide industry is just a fad and people are cashing in on it. People know that some peptides are amazing. Then there’s all this clickbait about this new peptide and that new peptide and kids and soccer moms already think because they heard on tik tok that peptides have no side effects and are risk free.

Most of the peptides I’ve used did very little. None of them were life changing. And they come with the same sort of scammy ideas you’d here a highschool drug dealer say to naive kids. 😂

Oh I looked it up. It’s just a branded l-carnitine, choline, methionine injection. I actually have taken a version of that. It does a lil sumpthin. If you really like injecting lots of stuff and mild PIP is your kink then injecting l-carnitine is great hahaha. I got pretty lean when I did that. But I was doing everything.

Couldn't agree more. The only ones so far I like are Reta, BPC, TB, GHK, PT141(works wonders for my willy LOL), MT2, and MOTS-c. Glutathione seems to be worth it in the long run as well. The GH secretagogues I've tried but I'm more content to just run HGH straight up and MK677.
 
Oh I looked it up. It’s just a branded l-carnitine, choline, methionine injection. I actually have taken a version of that. It does a lil sumpthin. I've injected l-carnitine but it was 200mg/ml so I was pounding myself IM with 3CC all the time and I got tired of it. They make a 600mg/ml now which would be much more convenient.

My hands down favorite is cerebrolysin. That stuff, you know you’re getting what you paid for right away. Cortexin is about just as good. Bpc and tb are good, but I never had the kind of injury that it would do amazing things for and they make caffeine and kratom way less effective and I wind up taking way more and I get anhedonia from bpc bad. Ghk does work but it hurts like wtf and leaves crazy bruises hahaha. The mt2 I had made me look ruddy, I didn’t get boners, and it repeatedly caused my lower back to hurt so much I went to the doctor. My MOTSC from umbrella does absolutely nothing whatsoever. I like GH. And I absolutely love MK, for me it’s just as good as GH even better. The sleep is even better, when everything else is in place the muscle fullness is even better. Maybe less fat burning because a bit more water than serostim and I eat as much as an entire family.

I really liked pinealon as well, and that’s a capsule. That’s one of the OG Russian peptides, but cerebrolysin has it in it. Oxytocin doesn’t work on me, and I don’t think I make my own very well either. DSIP, meh. Nothing in it for me. VIP peptide hits hard and is scary, like pounding heartbeat in your ears, whole body turn red, feel very hot. But if you have a lot of inflammation, every time I’ve taken it I improve quickly. Can’t think of any others off the top of my head

Have you peptide enthusiasts and science guys heard of this peptide called Lipo-C? I'm reading about it and it looks like a waste of money. Any experience with it?
I've heard it mentioned on YouTube. I wanna say it was vigorous Steve that talked about it. Never used it though
 
My hands down favorite is cerebrolysin. That stuff, you know you’re getting what you paid for right away. Cortexin is about just as good. Bpc and tb are good, but I never had the kind of injury that it would do amazing things for and they make caffeine and kratom way less effective and I wind up taking way more and I get anhedonia from bpc bad. Ghk does work but it hurts like wtf and leaves crazy bruises hahaha. The mt2 I had made me look ruddy, I didn’t get boners, and it repeatedly caused my lower back to hurt so much I went to the doctor. My MOTSC from umbrella does absolutely nothing whatsoever. I like GH. And I absolutely love MK, for me it’s just as good as GH even better. The sleep is even better, when everything else is in place the muscle fullness is even better. Maybe less fat burning because a bit more water than serostim and I eat as much as an entire family.

I really liked pinealon as well, and that’s a capsule. That’s one of the OG Russian peptides, but cerebrolysin has it in it. Oxytocin doesn’t work on me, and I don’t think I make my own very well either. DSIP, meh. Nothing in it for me. VIP peptide hits hard and is scary, like pounding heartbeat in your ears, whole body turn red, feel very hot. But if you have a lot of inflammation, every time I’ve taken it I improve quickly. Can’t think of any others off the top of my head

I just read up on cerebrolysin... pig brains! Now that's some interesting shit.
There’s some question whether or not the peptides are synthesized or extracted from actual pig brains, but the lore is that pigs are resistant to prion diseases (mad cow disease etc). And they are pretty smart so there’s a decent amount of BDNF in there. Cerebrolysin has more than bdnf, it has a few different peptides. It’s the smoothest shot you’ll ever take. Most people do it IM, and it’s a big shot. 10ml is the size of ampoule you want. You can put the whole 10ml anywhere you shoot it, no pip. Clinically, it’s IV administration. I haven’t done that and don’t plan on it. It’s quite effective IM.

  • Still eating the same but adding/trying carbs to 150g - still not working and getting super bloated all day - might have celiac or my gut biome has lost it's ability to deal with carbs LOL
  • Will listen to the boys in our thread and try white potatoes and fruit
  • Still hovering around 210lbs and strength is maintaining
  • Not logging every workout but loved today's deadlifts
  • Protein and Fat still 2:1 ratio and protein is always above 450g or so since I want my calories only around 4000 cals or so to slowly shed some BF.
  • Will lower cals a bit more once I get carbs figured out

Yesssssir. Stroke, TBI, dementia, and more. Addiction can really hurt your brain function and it doesn’t all just come right back. I felt that a lot.
Ya for sure brother I 100% had that too! You know about PAWS? My post acute withdrawal had me acting all fucked up for almost a year. It took a good year for the brain fog to clear.

Yes, I had PAWS from my years of pain killers. I didn’t get into the really really hard stuff thankfully. But I would do whatever else, and I did it often. So like percs, coke, Xanax often all in the same day. Sometimes meth. Never liked that stuff. It wasn’t recreational to me it was a tool. And drank the whole time. I actually had a cumulatively large amount of sober time through my twenties. I was more concerned with working and my young little family was functioning and reasonably happy. So I had no time or desire to be getting regularly fucked up. To this day when people tell me I’m intelligent it’s like.. thanks. I’ll never get it all back. I was sharp as a razor when I was a kid. For all the good it did me hahaha

Same here. I snorted meth cuz I thought it was K when I was 14. I was high all night, couldn't sleep, crawling off the walls in my bedroom alone, didn't like it at all. Tried smoking it when I was around 18 and same thing...hated it. Same with rock... smoked once and hated the feeling.

I finally stopped cuz I was up to my eye balls in debt and had no way out. Had shitloads of bills to pay, a household to maintain, but no way to do it. Failed as the man of the house. Finally broke and told my wife what was up, then talked with my parents. They gave me a loan to help take some pressure off and I took time off work for a month to get straight.

Big difference between us tho is I was always using and selling at the same time. I had to stop selling coke when I was 17 cuz I was doing more than I could sell LOL. It was awesome in the beginning but I started doing 2 eight balls a day and I was barely breaking even...what an idiot.

I was lucky I went through that addiction when I was young and dumb cuz when I was older and flippin birds it coulda got really bad like your buddy. Thankfully by that time I knew better and I was more into the rave scene and liked E, K, G, M. Those days I actually kinda miss. It was a lot of fun. All the best DJs perform here and there was a party going almost every night of the week.

When I was moving some big weight in the bike club they worded it as a "promotion" to moving meth instead of blow because I was doing more blow than they could provide me to move. I'd have a 9-pack quarter kilo and by the time it came to selling it I'd have done half of it and filled the rest with inositol (the most underrated cutting agent no one knows about!) LOL. They didn't wanna try and smash me for it even though I woulda just taken it, so they "promoted" me instead. They knew I hated meth so I never touched it and I was their superstar after that and only snorted what blow I could buy myself. Kind of loving of them in a fucked up way hahahaha

He always worked, even had a cable construction company like my own for a while, although that was at least halfway an outlet for his other endeavors. Nobody ever thought he was going to fall off. Hell I just saw his dad. 77 years old. Just quit partying last year. Crazy. He looks fine

Vaping is not good for you. There are tons of chemicals you are inhaling. Plus it’s a waste of money. You can quit and improve your health that is a goal to put forth

good luck man you can certainly do it. millions of people quit. there are also things like hypnosis and laser i've known people use and it has worked for them

My kids get me every time man. Very honest, very brave, no bullshit little people I raised.
 
If I said it it was true. I don't bull shit people. I always say you can call me a lot of things but a liar is never one. I'll tell the truth even when I shouldn't lol. It's gotten me a lot of trouble over the years but the way I see it, you can't be wrong with the truth on your side.

So if I said you still had abs in the pic trust that you did. If you had a gut I woulda said something like your delts look big lol.

I told my girl when we met I am brutally honest and she said she is too and we just clicked, both had hard lives and thick skin. I told her her BMI was way out of whack and her weight was too high for her height, her BP was too high and her bloodwork and A1C sucked and she let me pin her with Sema (she likes ozempic more) and change her whole diet eating almost always with me. Now, 1.5 years later she's down 25 lbs and her BP is in check with her supps she uses since she met me and her bloods and A1C are all in check and she eats whole foods now no more takeout which I told her actually stands for "TAKE the easy way OUT".

When I'm bloated she'll tell me too I look like a beached whale and to eat my second meal of the day later in the day because if we have to go out I look like a bloated redneck with a beer belly which I appreciated and heeded her advice. We actually both thrive on our honesty.

So ya, I even crossed that line with a chick but what would you expect from the HarleyGuy you all know :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well...that's actually happened multiple times. She has put on about 30lbs in the time we've been together. I told her the truth. You've gained weight and not in a good way and need to start making better choices with eating and training. She didn't get mad cuz it was true and she brought it up.

Still haven't managed to get her training consistently unfortunately. I do bring it up a fair bit and try to nudge her to get serious about it but no luck yet. It will click one day though.

That’s gotta be tough because she’s cooking for you a lot and you are eating big. Most of the time a high step count will keep the weight off, like if she was walking the dogs twice a day. But to lose it can be harder. She doesn’t have a job, right? She’s cooking all day. She should get reta. So she doesn’t want to eat for no reason

She doesn't eat the same as me a lot of the time. Plus she likes to grab snacks and stuff. Nothing terrible, lots of Asian fruits or desserts.

She walks the dogs 3 times a day but that's it for excercise. I actually bought the treadmill for her 2 years ago and she used it a fair bit but that tapered off.

I think she'll come to her senses. She's mentioned she doesn't like the weight she's gained. If it gets too bad maybe I'll tell her about reta but I'm still kinda iffy on sema glutides.

She started to gain weight and she was sooooo damn smart but she was really outsmarting herself and didn’t want to buy into any of the things that worked and tbh, I didn’t care that much except it obviously bothered her. I would have stuck with her and gave her all the d she could stand even if she got bigger but the insecurity got pretty unmanageable. And in the end we weren’t going to work out and that’s one of the few I’ll always be sad about. When it comes to a wife, it’s really all about being happy and healthy and positive. I couldn’t be in a relationship where we both just let ourselves go as soon as the knot is tied. For one, I don’t get fat. I eat pizza and ice cream every day and I get a little soft and way more muscular and my blood pressure goes through the roof and I feel terrible. Couldn’t do it if I wanted to

Not crazy but not great either. I think she'll snap herself outta it sooner or later. I just keep asking her to train with me and one day it will happen.

And yeah, it’s important that she get a handle on it because it will continue and it will be a problem eventually.

Ya. That's my worry looking years into the future. I always tell her it's way easier to lose weight and keep it off when you're young

Way way way easier to just keep it off than to lose it. Losing weight for regular natty people is catch 22. Need to keep muscle but you can’t. You lose muscle, bone, metabolism, and fat. Miserable the entire time, and you inevitably get fatter after because your whole metabolism has slowed and now it wants to store even more. I’ve only known one person to really do it successfully. A friend I ski with who’s in his sixties but he’s a beast and his wife has been a personal trainer for like twenty years. He’s lost fifty pounds in two years. Very slow and steady and the last twenty is hanging on to him hard and just now you can see it wearing on him. Two years of calorie restriction! I’d murder someone

Yea I'm giving my wife another couple years before I start getting more serious about pressuring her into change. Really just for her health. I wish she would train with me. Having a partner in my home gym would be fun.

She still doesn't eat 100% whole foods all the time and 'cheats' what I consider often but I assume all our standards are insane compared to the average joe out there so I never ride her. Her weight on my Renpho the past year looks like a stock that is crashing with the odd up tick so it's trending in the right direction just from better food choices and her Sema is up to 2.5mg now and it's helped an insane amount with her chocolate cravings and junk food 'needs'. Her gut biome has changed to 'healthy' so now when she eats takeout she's in the bathroom within 20 mins and she can hear me laughing from downstairs like "that's what you get honey!". LOL.

On another note, how about his fuckin touchdown! I'm stocking up every payday!

Omfg I fuckin KNEW you'd call me on that! I can't help myself I like to have one of everything on hand just in case I go into a berzerker mode. I've got 3 NPP's so I'm good on that. Let's call them mini-blasts then LOL. Compared to the last one I think all of them would be anyway. I think I can hold out on TRT until early winter and new year and then if my bloods and cholesterol are in check I'll end up having to do something. Post 50-years old I will keep to my word and keep it under 1g total I pinky swear! :ROFLMAO:

I'm becoming a fan of fast esters I think being honest because I like pinning so I'm gonna load up on those and then scour the earth for high mg/ml deca and eq and I wanna have some anadrol on hand too for my moods when I wanna get all strong rugby player looking. Peptides too as I tone down the blasting I'm looking into the longevity peptides and brain health peptides along with cellular health and anti oxidants. Since I came on here I'm now a peptide freak.
