Yeah I been off Tren for couple weeks , but I think I actually have withdrawals or some shit coz I’m actually in the foulest mood today for no particular reason
Were you running enanthate or acetate?

I was running ace and I found that at day 3 off everything crashed on me. No energy, libido, and my mood was terrible like you.

If you're running enanthate I could see it messing with you now for sure.

Did you taper off or just stop from your peak dose?

Bro I feel incredible!! Just being myself again is such a joy. Breathing normally, not tired and sore all the time, what a blessing.

Now it's just building back up again. So happy to be training again
 
yeah it's really absurd but I'm glad that you don't smoke in front of people.
It gives you something to shoot for, quitting the vape. You don't need it and it's not good for you.
Yea it's literally the one thing I have left in my life that needs to go. Compared to alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, partying, energy drinks, this one should be easy. Seems the least harmful of all the issues I had to it's the very last to go.

Even after working outside in the polar vortex today I came home with plenty left in the tank to train. Its getting pretty tough to stick with this deload training though. Leaving so much on the table when my body feels so strong is pretty difficult for my brain to tolerate, but I'll stay the course for a few more days.

Actually overshot my carbs yesterday for the first time ever. My appetite is sky high again. Same with libido. Feels like I'm on Tren again in those 2 aspects. I actually had to leave most of my rice on the plate for dinner cuz my carbs were already so high. Coulda ate it all but I didn't go to sleep hungry or anything. The homemade siu mai my wife made hit the spot.

This is good you're controlling yourself, at least the whole week 1 and into 2nd week go slower way slower, let your body recover as you train into it

I say affirmations in the morning. It sounds corny and hippy dippy but it starts my day positively everyday. Then I count my blessings when I get home and settled down after a workday. Sort of like a de-stressing excercise.

Just doing those 2 things I think has made me a much calmer happier person overall
there is absolutely a magnetic force out there and you can attract good things into your life having that mentality

Lol I don't blame you. I'd doubt me too. Kinda amazed I have been sticking to my plan and not cheating by adding reps at all. Its working tho. All my health metrics are looking consistently amazing so I'm sticking with it. Next week it will be time to turn the knob up.

Lol kinda. My wife uses my mom's family recipe so it's kind of a Westernized version of the Chinese food. I like it a lot better personally.

I'm only a millennial by age, don't like getting lumped in with those people. Most guys my age don't fit that category. We're the generation that came before the term millennial even got thrown around. I'm not as old school as you but I'm pretty old school by comparison to millenials.

I call my wife my wife not "partner". I don't cook, I don't clean. I build and fix stuff and pay the bills.

I don't even understand a lot of these terms millenials throw around.

Thanks bro. Its been going great all week. The last time I remember having a period with such high recovery and health metrics this good was when I first got on GH. A couple more days like this and I think I'm ready to get back to the grind

If things keep up like this for another couple days I'm going to move back into my normal training with lowered volume to begin with. Probably dial down the weight a tiny bit too.

Still very hungry. Even hungrier then when I'm on cycle. I feel like I could eat every couple hours all day long lol. @Mobster tells a story about thinking about the next meal while your eating and I caught myself doing that this afternoon.

Speaking of food dinner last night was Chinese style ground pork.

Yea I relate a lot more to gen x guys. A lot of my friends growing up were older. I'm 41 so I'm on the high end of millenial. I'd rather not get lumped in with those people.

Thanks bro. Yea I'm really happy to see how quick my BP got back in check after the Tren had it elevated. Good to know that if I manage my BP while on the Tren I can get it back in order withing a couple weeks.

I'm gonna do an entire week of deload style training for sure. That will take me to this coming Tuesday and then I'll start ramping things back up again. I'm definitely fully recovered at this point. Its funny cuz the data I have from this past week shows all my health markers are in better condition then they were when I was just running TRT before my cycle

Believe it or not I don't clean either. I can't remember the last time my bed sheets got cleaned. I wear pretty much the same thing every day. My daughter is always bitching that I smell when she comes over.

I was thinking it's probably the rest too.

I wasn't fasting at all while I was sick. I fought hard to maintain my macros as best I could even tho my appetite was down.

The only other thing I could think of is maybe it's kinda like a bounce back effect after my body was under so much stress when I was sick for those 2 weeks.

Used to give me big problems getting to sleep but CBD fixed that for me.

Similar problem for me. My OCD makes it super difficult to "shut my brain off" and fall asleep. 20mg of melatonin a night just to get drowsy enough for the chance at a good sleep.

Day 4 of this light deload training and things are going great. Everything is feeling really good and my health metrics are still really good. I've been ramping up the cardio day by day to get my lung capacity back and even that is feeling amazing too. Any residual effects of that flu are long gone now.

If things keep up like this for another couple days I'm going to move back into my normal training with lowered volume to begin with. Probably dial down the weight a tiny bit too.

Still very hungry. Even hungrier then when I'm on cycle. I feel like I could eat every couple hours all day long lol. @Mobster tells a story about thinking about the next meal while your eating and I caught myself doing that this afternoon.

Speaking of food dinner last night was Chinese style ground pork.

I'm gonna do an entire week of deload style training for sure. That will take me to this coming Tuesday and then I'll start ramping things back up again. I'm definitely fully recovered at this point. Its funny cuz the data I have from this past week shows all my health markers are in better condition then they were when I was just running TRT before my cycle
Lets make sure full week and as you ramp up only ramp up 20% per week until 100%, trust me on this dont overtax coming out from a sickness :D @BeMe

I remember I took melatonin when I was having sleep troubles but it did nothing for me. I was popping those tabs like candies and nothn lol

Not much. It just fluctuated a lot. Maybe only a few pounds

Sounds about right. I am planning on increasing volume to about 80%. Loading will likely be about the same. Not even sure where my strength lies right now. I know for a fact I couldn't even manage 100% of the loading I was at just before the illness for sure. If I tried to push 100% right now I'm fairly certain I would just injured myself

I have found that different brands of melatonin work differently, and more is not necessarily better. The clinical prescription dose is only 80mcg, as I recall. I have one brand that I use, 3mg tablets. It works pretty reliably. 10mg of the same brand does not work the same and I always wake up in the middle of the night. 3mg of another brand would drop me and then I’d wake right back up.

80% but if you feel it's a bit too much load, lower it back. We need to modify as you go slowly so you don't overload @BeMe

I can't remember what the dose was for the ones I bought, this is over 10 years ago. One night I took the dose, nothing happened so I took another dose, then I was like fuck those and did another double dose, still didn't sleep lol. Then I just gave up on it.

The CBD has me sleeping good every night now tho

Day 3 back training again and the health is holding strong. All recovery and health metrics are looking great. Even after working outside in the polar vortex today I came home with plenty left in the tank to train. Its getting pretty tough to stick with this deload training though. Leaving so much on the table when my body feels so strong is pretty difficult for my brain to tolerate, but I'll stay the course for a few more days.

Actually overshot my carbs yesterday for the first time ever. My appetite is sky high again. Same with libido. Feels like I'm on Tren again in those 2 aspects. I actually had to leave most of my rice on the plate for dinner cuz my carbs were already so high. Coulda ate it all but I didn't go to sleep hungry or anything. The homemade siu mai my wife made hit the spot.

Yea Fitbits are notoriously unreliable bro. They're ok for ball park estimates but you can't really trust much of the data you get from it.

I love my whoop. Its a bit pricey but I think it's worth every penny for it's accuracy, detail, and the layout is really great.

It uses a gpt model to make health recommendations based on your current metrics too. They call it whoop coach.

The new one has a biological age feature where it estimates your biological age and pace of aging. Kinda gamifies being healthier and making better life decisions.

Funny enough I'm actually getting little pumps from these light weight workouts. The training is easy but by focusing on every part of the movement and going slow it actually almost feels like real training.

Definitely ready to turn up the intensity knob and start training closer to normal again.

All health metrics are still way better than they usually are and it's been a full week now of great recovery. Today's recovery score is unreal.

Even though everything is looking so great I decided I'd take a rest day today. Did some work around the house and cleared a shit load of snow so it was exactly restful but it was probably necessary after 5 days in a row of training, even if it's light. Tomorrow I'll be working outside in the cold all day doing some heavy duty work so it's better if I rest up today.

Took a rest day yesterday and I was gonna do a light session today but I worked late today and ran outta time. According to my whoop strap I was training at 3 different points today and my strain reading is so high already I probably don't need to train tosay anyway lol.

We got a blizzard last night and I was working outside in the freezing cold all day today. Had to shovel snow for an hour just to get to the place where I was working cuz the place is vacant right now. Winter this year really has me thinkn about trying to make the move to Aus more and more.

Is there a real estate app you guys use over there that's popular? I wanna start following housing prices down there

I've been off the Tren for almost 4 weeks now already. Time really flies. No issues coming off except days 3-6 where my hormones got way outta balance and I had some mild depression almost. Maybe have been related to the illness also, so who knows. I'll find out when I actually come off this time around.

Naww there was a documentary that started the whole CBD revolution. Two guys in Cali developed a high CBD low THC strain for a little girl with seizures named Charlotte. They called the strain Charlottes web.

It cured her seizures but at the time it was illegal and the mom was risking prison to give it to her daughter. She didn't care cuz it was the only thing that stopped the seizures.

Thought maybe you saw it cuz you mentioned seizures.

I talked to my doctor about CBD and he was old school, started yelling about its not good for you, doesnt help epilepsy. And its the gateway drug!!! Lmfao

Cold turkeying seizure meds was a long time ago. Im mostly good now, ever since the med switch last year i feel way better physically and mentally. Testosterone more than doubled as well with the switch. I dont sleep 12 -16hrs daily after struggling to fall asleep. With the added bonus of my seizures seem to be lessening again.

The last partial was early Dec maybe. Right now im pretty sure im still having them in my sleep, probably once a month, not sure i dont bother to count. Im sure there are ones i dont notice because theres no signs like waking up to my tongue chewed up, blood on pillow, all my teeth hurt from clenching my jaw to the limit or it just feels like ive been hit by a truck. Hell i woke up in the morning to find i put my damn back out in my sleep. Haha

Ive got some issues upstairs because of the cumulative brain damage over the decades especially since ive got a history of status epilepticus. Thats where your seizures are over 5 mins or you keep having the back to back with no recovery.

With my history, im actually in pretty good shape with all things considered. Well except the issues i dont want to confront, ill wait a year or 2 and see if my guess is right about that one.

Yea yesterday was weird cuz we got smashed and the people in the snow belt were totally fine. We got almost 2 feet of snow...it was nuts. I was out at 10pm last night shovelling before bed so I wouldn't have to do my driveway to get out for work. I had to clear the driveway 3 times yesterday.

I saw a headline today that said it was a record snowfall. I'm sure there's some specific metric they used to get that headline, but it was pretty bad

The last partial was early Dec maybe. Right now im pretty sure im still having them in my sleep, probably once a month, not sure i dont bother to count. Im sure there are ones i dont notice because theres no signs like waking up to my tongue chewed up, blood on pillow, all my teeth hurt from clenching my jaw to the limit or it just feels like ive been hit by a truck. Hell i woke up in the morning to find i put my damn back out in my sleep. Haha

Ive got some issues upstairs because of the cumulative brain damage over the decades especially since ive got a history of status epilepticus. Thats where your seizures are over 5 mins or you keep having the back to back with no recovery.

With my history, im actually in pretty good shape with all things considered. Well except the issues i dont want to confront, ill wait a year or 2 and see if my guess is right about that one.

Yea I remember talking to my doc about CBD, he was in his 70s and he gave me the same BS. My dad thought it was dangerous cuz of that doc and eventually I finally got him on it and it changed his life, literally. His bodies all banged up but with the CBD he can function normally with almost no pain now. Stupid ass doctors LOL

Surprisingly i never bothered. I used to grind my teeth a lot when i was stressed, they fit together perfectly if i slide my jaw back and forth. I dont grind in a sleep seizure only chewing and clenching.

I've been off the Tren for almost 4 weeks now already. Time really flies. No issues coming off except days 3-6 where my hormones got way outta balance and I had some mild depression almost. Maybe have been related to the illness also, so who knows. I'll find out when I actually come off this time around.
Illness, no training and time off is easily depressive. do you want to restart tren? @BeMe about 1 week.

I also listen to binaural beats in my headphones while falling asleep. If I find my mind stirring I just focus as hard as I can on the music and it works

Oh yea I'm itching to start my cycle again lol. I'm gonna start later this week. My health markers are so much better now then when I started my cycle in the beginning of December. I think the time off training was really good for my body.

I got bloodwork scheduled on Feb 14th and I wanna get my levels back up again so I can see how I respond to the Tren. Still curious to find a dose that actually gives me some good results too

You should get some cross country skies for getting to and from the gym. Good cardio and you'd never have to worry about winding up in a ditch...unless you had an epic leg day...then maybe lol

Your sleep is always so solid even if the amount is shit, do you wake up fresh? I have found 6-6.5 hours seems plenty for me with the deep and rem numbers in line

Sleep has been off just cuz I'm going to bed a bit too late and waking up early for some weird reason. Been taking power naps when I get home from work the past couple days.

Yea my lower lats were sore a couple hours after training and I was hitting chest. I was trying to fall asleep and I noticed I was pretty sore already. It was weird. Felt the same on both sides too so I don't think tweaked anything

Its weird how much just moving a little heavy weight can pick you up so much mentally. Kinda makes you feel like a man again

Yea my quality is always really good but I lack the amount a lot. I can function ok on 6-6.5 but it's definitely suboptimal. Too many days with just that amount and I get wore out.

Still feeling fresh and work and training is going well. I do need a quick nap when I get home from work though. I hit the couch and I'm out for like 20 mins then wake up confused but wide awake lol

We are very similar in our sleep, my deep and rem is literally perfect now too, finally settled into this cycle.
I find I cant sleep much past 7 hours, my body wont allow it, you the same or just life gets in the way?
