Gyno 10 years after cycle?

Hi guys,

Bit of a weird one, been recently getting more serious about my fitness and health again and have started getting a pea sized gyno lump out of the blue, which seems to coincide roughly when I've started getting more serious about training again + adding cardio, and around a month ago starting magnesium (Thorne Citramate 270mg a day, ADAM fish oil (1.2g DHA + EPA combined a day), 2 a day Thorne Basic Nutrient mutivitamin and increasing my creatine dose from 6g to 10g a day.

I've put on some decent mass this year so far after negelecting training for far too long.

Male, 37, 5'10 220lbs/98kg definitely carrying extra fat but I am quite solidly built (lost a few lbs lately, currently on a slight caloric defecit) and freaking out a bit how this has come out of nowhere.

I'll be getting bloods taken and nolvadex soon, but has anyone else had an experience like this? Haven't touched the gear in about 10 years in which I was susceptible to a small gyno lump on the same side which went away completely after nolva.
 
Hey bro, i actually just started a 10 week phase to get my gyno as bad as possible before getting it removed.

Alot of people will say you can shrink it with SERMs and AI's, but i personally think its just better to get it removed.

Consider that.
I actually had great results years ago with the gyno lump completely disappearing or shrinking to a point of not being able to feel it with Nolva in the past.

I'll try the Nolva first, but my understanding is that the gyno becomes more permanent if not addressed quickly and probably need surgery then as a last resort.
 
I've heard Raloxifene can be more effective than over SERMS for gyno: moreplatesmoredates.com/how-to-get-rid-of-gyno-without-surgery/
But haven't had first hand experience with it or what the sides are...just something that may be worth looking at.
 
Even lifetime nattys can get gyno. It’s not even that rare. Something is going on inside you. Seems best to treat the symptoms asap because that is the acute problem. And narrowing down the cause will be your very next move. IMO
Agreed, next challenge will be finding a doctor that wants to do the right tests....

Just seems so strange that this has happened coincidentally at the same time as training more + more supps + vitamins etc. Surely that wouldn't be enough to completely disrupt my endoctrine system.

But it did. Maybe your testosterone went up quite a bit, and that was enough for the amount that you normally aromatize to be too much e2. Or maybe you’ve had some strange exposure that caused it. Or a function of age. You may never know for sure. But it is happening.
 
From someone whos had cancer in their 30's, that did nothing about it for 6 months thinking self medicating would make it go away, Id be seeing a doctor about a suspicious lump.
I'm keeping that in mind too, thankyou, you just never know, and better safe than sorry.

Definitely wasn't there before as it is sensitive/slightly painful and I've been down to sub 10% bodyfat a few years before this and no lump at all then.

tbh nobody can give you real answers until you post the basics, right now there is no question and no data to work from. Example the pics of the gyno, what does it look like how bad?
Start a log and include your stats, goal, current compounds and doses, pin schedule, cals and macros, training split with key lifts, sleep, BP, and your latest bloodwork so the EVO family can actually support you instead of guessing. 15min of your time to start :D

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.
To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Do the surgery as the first resort. The 3 months you spend trying to fix it buy completely tanking your estrogen could be 3 months spend recovering.

You MIGHT fix it with SERM and AI abuse (ignoring the health effects)

You WILL fix it with surgery.

I know the cost is high, and the recovery might suck, but it fixes it for life.

It's called estrogen rebound and it happens more than people think. Most of the time people don't even notice it though.

If you are prone to gyno, you want to keep letro on hand always and don't be afraid to use it.

Bros, 10 years, that's a long time. Sometimes this can happen though. Obviously if it happened to you, it happened to others.

10 years is a long time. I haven't heard of someone getting this after 10 years. I've heard of a few months or maybe a year.
 
Blood tests booked for tomorrow, getting the whole kitchen sink test package.

Updoc is great, got a referral for the tests within 5min instead of going through an uphill battle with my regular doc and waiting 1-2 weeks.

Started taking Metamucil twice a day and reducing sugar and saturated fat a bit at least to get that cholestrol under control, I blame my affliction for smash burgers and KFC....

you e2 is 70 could be low for you @TheT so I would see if it goes up and down over time but 1 blood work no log we just guessing

Bit of an update:

1.5 weeks into 20mg a day Sparta Nolva from @UGL OZ, and I can already feel the lump has decreased a lot in size, it has gone from approximately 1.5-2cm diameter to around half of that so far.

Update: slightly over 3 weeks in, lump shrinking seems to be accelerating, but damn my energy has tanked and I feel depressed for no reason, going to try 20mg Nolva every other day instead of every day now to see if that makes a difference.

Just got caught up on this thread bro. Nolva will work as you can see especially when you catch it early.

I too had to decrease my Nolva dose after exactly 3 weeks when I ran a gyno reduction experiment last year in my 2025 log. I then had to cut it out entirely as I was getting way too moody and completely apathetic. Ideally if you were to keep going the Nolva could eventually nuke a lot of the acute gyno but if you're not tolerating it and have any type of life where your serenity and mood matters then I'd reduce it as well.

depression and energy down is estrogen issue @TheT thats why a log is a must we need to know what you're doing
