Best Protein Shake?

If you were stuck on a desert island with nothing but a squat rack, a barbell and a bench and had to take a protein shake with you, what would it be?

I've tried almost every shake under the sun in the European market over the last 8 years and I've decided to broaden my horizons and order some protein in from bulk from the States. Just not sure what to get!

this is a very easy question to answer... whey to build muscle at ntbm is by far the best protein I have ever had and I have had them all... it will be back in stock at the end of the month and I put a guarantee that you will never find any better...
 
I used ON gold standard whey for years ,they were always a bit more expensive but worth it.

now they are total rapists when it comes to price.

cytosport monster mass is now my pwo shake, love that shit.
 
Try to find a cold processed protein. They are supposed to be more bioavailable to the human body :)
 
i take two different protein shake one is isoblex 100% real protein and muscle juice when i want to gain a few pounds fast

Where do you get the Muscle Juice?

I like Russain Bear 5000, mass gainer but huge in protein and vits count.

Also been using On Gold Standard. Returned a few favors thou.
 
I get soy free ones from truenutrition, not the best tasting but 27g protein per 30g scoop and no soy lectin.

u can get it on line, or evas supplenents, is taste real good 1020 calories in water and eith milk 1300 plus 88 gm of protein
 
It depends on what you are looking for. If its just Whey Isolate, with little carb., and little fat. Isopure is an excellent choice, there are plenty more. Everyone has his or her favorite. Do you have a good supplier, if not pm me and I'll give you a few good ones. :cool:

I'm a more economy/poverty grade guy haha. I've been sticking with Dymatize Elite XT lately, good luck ever finding any cheaper :). I get almost all of my protein from meats, so the cheap stuff is just my boost
 
Danielbiker I don't know what your paying for the Carnivor, but if $ 26.95 for 26 serv. or $ 47.95 for 56 serv. sounds good, pm me, and I'll give you my source. :cool:
 
I've tried a lot over the years, started using ole "Joe Wielder" in the 80's and even "Calf Starter".. What I like at the moment is "Whey" ON brand.............AnalogMan
 
Whey2Build is amazing for both flavor and quality. I notice no stomach upset (I am sensitive to lactose). I really like Isolation Whey Isolate from Brutal Academy as well. Its super clean and utilize no artificial sweeteners.
 
whey to build muscle ice cream sandwhich is my single favorite flavor

right now i'm really enjoying 1 scoop of whey to build strawberry and 1 scoop of universal gain fast chocolate....almost like a chocolate covered strawberry, very good
 
I just this ON Raspberry smoothie casein for before bed.. mixed it up with 1/2 cup frozen raz and 1/2 cup ice and it is really quite amazing.. might be my fav so far.
 
Beside the Canivor which I love it I make my own protein shake: a 16 oz bottle reduced fat buttermilk and 1/2 cup liquid white eggs. I drink two a day ( about 30g protein per bottle).
 
its a little pricey but ON Pro Complex has one of the best protien/carb/bcaa profiles i have found. plus mixes well with decent taste. thats my 2 cents
 
I never had why protein from n2bm.com before but let me tell you Proteinfactory has probably the best isolate protein i have ever tried.

After finding proteinfactory I wont pay moree then 35 dollars for protein ever again.

It expensive here in ireland too , most places charge €70 but I get it for €55 which isn't too bad
 
I like the ntbm proteins. Haven't had WTBM yet but isolation is great.

The best testing proteins is need to build muscle . They taste amazing ! I'm really pissed they been out of stock to be honest . I went to gnc and bought some puke tasting protein . Muscle milk is ok ! Only use one scoop or else it's quite thick ! And not so good
 
I have taken isopure low carb chocolate for years. Its a whey isolate. Tastes pretty good but I usually just pound the shakes down
 
The best shake that works for my body and doesn't leave it bloated like Whey protein does is a self prepared mixture of Pea Protein, Sprouted Organic Brown Rice Protein and Brewers Yeast. 52 grams of easily digested protein with many other nutrients and co-factors with an amino acid profile near identical to that of Whey. All of the goodness and more...none of the bloat and chronic inflammation of the gut.
 
I've been a fan of the GAT nutrition supertein, mixes well and tastes good. Pretty reasonable for bulk buys as well.

Ive gotten muscle milk, nectar, lots of decent brands. gives me an opportunity to tey new proteins at a lower price. muscletech makes a platinum whey that mixes up real easy.
 
Has anyone said GOLDSTANDARD WHEY YET?????? omg the cookies and cream is to die for! Oh and it's pretty healthy to ;)

ON Gold Standard 100% Whey. A 30 gram scoop has 24 grams of protein and the double rich chocolate tastes great
