Blood Work Blood Work/ Labs-Creatine?

Caffeineman45

Newbie Brother
I am getting my bloodwork retested bc I have to bring my estradiol down but have a quick question.
I was listening to old podcast and thought I herard that creatine can affect blood/labs but can’t remember how. Is this true? I thought it said stop taking creating 5-days prior to lab work or something. I take 5g of creatine daily and going to test again in 14-days. Thanks for any feedback!

creatinine and eGFR can be affected
But it isn't actually doing anything. It's just a bad number. That's why you should stop using it ahead of blood work.

Bros, creatine gets a bad rap but it's very safe. You don't have to worry; just stop using it maybe two weeks ahead of your bloods.

I like creatine and it's a very cheap supplement. It's not dangerous at all. Don't let it scare you.

It's true. It can cause a false positive for the by product 'creatinine'.

Any supplement can affect your blood work, some good, some bad. That's why you should fast ahead of your blood work to get a more accurate number.
