I was wondering if I can fail a urine drug test by using anabolic steriods? I work at a grain terminal and I've been here for 15yrs.. I love my job and everything about it and I would hate to lose everything I work for over steriods.

bro i doubt they test for steroids at a grain terminal ...is it in your list of tested substances?...usually its rec drugs only....like 99% of work tests are for recs...

Just curious, do they even check for metabolites in urine, don't they draw blood levels and just verify it there?
Or perhaps just a price thing?

Why don't you ask what they test for?

Probably not. Beware if you do ECA stack, ephedrine can show up as meth

You have the right to ask what is being tested for so do that to be sure. In most cases though, they are only checking for recreational drugs like opiates, amphetamines, etc.

I beleive its just a 10 pannel. which doesnt include anything that has to due with your hormones.

when you do a drug test the form you sign will tell you what they test for.

Just to compound on this. No. PED testing is extremely expensive. Unless you're batting clean up for the grain silo softball team you should sleep easy.

There's no way they will be testing for steroids. I just took a 15 panel test yesterday for my builders insurance and they dont include that. Even the army doesn't test for them in a standard test. I know that from experience as well. I totally understand the concern man, but I'm sure you are fine. The whole deal with most of the workplace drug screening has to do with workers comp insurance. If you drug test employees the insurance is cheaper. They are basically trying to prevent people from causing accidents or hurting themselves because they are high or whatever
