First Cycle Review

Hello,

I am hoping you call can help me and give advice in case I am way in left field. I have been researching for about four weeks and I have written down a bunch of cycles that I thought I would try, but I have narrowed it down to this. Hoping for feedback.

I am 44 years old, 205lbs, about 20% body fat using military calculation, and I have been lifting off and on since I was 15. I took about two years off of lifting/dieting and just recently got back into it (8 weeks in). I have competed in Jiu-Jitsu and submission wrestling back in the day and I've always been an athlete that has pushed myself. I am trying to gain muscle, get leaner, and have more energy and motivation. This is the first time in my life that gains haven't come my way as fast as I have wanted them to. Kind of annoying getting older. My plan was to diet and exercise until I get to about 18% body fat or lower before trying a cycle. Sorry for sharing so much. I just want to make sure you know who I am and what my goals are.

I was going to run:
Test E and Mast E:

WK1-WK12: 250mg Test E and 200mg Mast E
WK13 to start the sticky Perfect PCT found here:

Will the low dosage be a waste of time?
Any suggestions or input?
Should I wait until I get an even lower body fat % or will 18% be okay to start?

I really want to test this out, see how I perform, see how I feel, and see what the results are.

1. yes get your body fat lower. closer to 12% otherwise you won't be able to see your muscles, unless your goal is just strength i suppose
2. you use steroids you are shutting yourself down and they are strong hormones so you might as well run them at moderate dosages.
 
That’s what happens when you get older. My mind still thinks I’m 20, my body disagrees. Dial in your diet first and see if you’re dropping bf. If not adjust. Diet is 75% the work. And use this time to build the required diet discipline and find your groove in the gym. Use this as motivation so when you’re body is up to the task you won’t hurt yourself and you’ll achieve better results.

I would swap out the masteron unless you end up getting really lean. You would be fine with just test at 350-500mg per week as a first cycle. If you really wanted to add another compound in your first go then look at maybe a mild oral like tbol.
 
yes bro, you've got to get your body fat down first... not only is there far greater chances of side effects at a higher body fat, but you want to run masteron, which is more so an aesthetic... you wont see it shine at a higher body fat... you can still get benefits from it, yes, but you won't get the main benefit from it, which would not make a lot of sense to use it with that in mind...
 
Bro your BF is way to high to be running a cycle. I would recommend you to get a diet and exercise so you can go down on bf and then get a cycle going when you're under 15%
