Intro:
I'll be documenting the last 6 weeks of my prep leading into my first ever show! Very excited to be doing it. I've been taking bodybuilding training seriously now since the start of the year when I decide I wanted to do a show.

Goal:
The goal of this show is for two reasons really:

1 - to get the experience of being on stage and see if I like it

2 - the main reason, to get the most out of the post show rebound and make some serious progress in size in the new year

Current stats:
5'9
238lbs
Arm size 19.25 inches
Forearm 16 inches
Quad size 28.5 inches

At my biggest I was mid 260s 19.5 inch arms, 30inch quads 16.5inch forearms, I didn't expect to have lost as much bodyweight as I have tbh!

Current stack:

Drugs changed at 12 weeks out. I switched over to Critical as they were able to provide products which other labs no longer had in stock due to supply issues. I must say I am extremely happy so far and the progress these last 6 weeks have been great. Especially since adding the tren. Despite bodyweight dropping strength is going up across the board, despite bodyweight dropping a fair amount. No pip, and the stoppers don't crumble like a lot of previous bits I've used in the past.

12 weeks out:
Test enanthate: 500mg/week
Masteron enanthate: 400mg/week
Trenbelone enanthate: 450mg/week

6 weeks out:
As I will be approaching 6 weeks out on Saturday the drugs will be changing too
Test enanthate: 500mg/week
Masteron enanthate: 800mg/week
Trenbelone enanthate: 450mg/week

Yohimbine: 20mg ED pre fasted cardio
T3: 25mcg ED pre fasted cardio
T4: 100mcg ED pre fasted cardio

Training and cardio:

Cardio is now at 1 hour every day.

Wake up take fat loss supps, do 10 rounds of vacuums, planks, abs then 3 rounds of posing quarter turns and mandatories, holding every pose now for 35 seconds. I've been increasing this hold 5 seconds a week per pose, then I hit:
40 minutes fasted in the morning
20minutes post workout

Split is:

Monday:
Chest, one tricep exercise, one side delt exercise, abs and calves

Tuesday:
Back, biceps, one exercise rear delts, abs

Wedensday:
Hamstrings and glutes, calves

Thursday:
Off

Friday:
Delts and triceps, abs and calves

Saturday:
Quads

Sunday:
Off

I train hard and heavy. Intensity is everything. Typically 1 or 2 sets in the 5-10 rep range per exercise with intensifiers. Rest pause or drop sets usually and always with partials to finish where safe to do so. Certain muscles will get higher reps and more sets and also quad training has had to change due to my number of knee injuries.

Nutrition:

Food stayed relatively high until recently. Now it has dropped to:

500g carbs, 390g protein, 20g fats 6 x week

Then 1 day a week on quad day I have 1000g carbs 240g protein and trace fats

I eat the same foods every day, adjusting to my macros

My food sources are
Gluten free porridge oats
White rice
2% turkey mince
Egg whites
Whey iso
Greens
Blueberries

The fats come from the oats and my 10g fish oil, I do not count the fat from the turkey.

Supplements:

As of now I'm not taking many. I believe in cardio, lots of water and a clean diet year round takes care of most things. I run bloods every 8 weeks and if I do need to add anything it'll be based on the bloods. I don't add things for the sake of it.

Vitamin d3
Vitamin k2
Astragalus
Vitamin c
Vitamin b
Creatine
Eaas
Nordic fish oil
Curcumin
Digestive enzymes (my favourite supp)

Cheers mate!

I am trying!

Here in the UK, we have what's known as a first timers class, so there are no weight restrictions etc, the only requirements needed to be met is that you've never competed before in any federation.

But yeah, if it wasn't for that then I'd be doing open. I'll be around 225s to 230 on stage I reckon, so that'd have me in at the bottom of the super heavies in open at my height, but I'm not focusing on the weight just wanna be truly peeled! If that means weighing less so be it!

Thanks for following 💪🏻😁

Omg that's almost not fair to the other guys lol. They're gonna shit a brick back stage when you walk in haha.

I can guarantee everyone is gonna be like there's no way this guy hasn't been competing for years.

good to have you logging this, it’s clear you’ve been dialed in since the start of the year and now you’re really seeing the payoff heading into these last 6 weeks. stats are solid with big arms, quads and forearms even after the cut, so once you hit that rebound you’ll be in a great spot to push size again. switch over to critical looks like it worked out well, no pip and clean vials makes a big difference when you’re pinning this much. the stack looks balanced with the bump in mast at 6 weeks out and tren keeping strength up despite the weight drop, which is exactly what you want at this stage.

training split makes sense, intensity focused, heavy with controlled volume and some adjustments around the knees to keep quads safe. cardio is high but paired with the diet structure it’s driving condition in hard, 500g carbs still decent fuel and then that quad day refeed with 1k carbs is going to give you the fullness you need. supp list is clean and purposeful, not just throwing in extras which is smart, especially with regular bloods to back it up. physique is coming together well already from the shots you’ve shared, leanest you’ve been and you’ll just sharpen further each week from here. excited to see the updates at 6 weeks out and how the conditioning keeps coming in. :D

keep updating us and getting training, food and how you feel posted.

Hopefuly haha! I've had a few of the older guys who've competed say that to me in the gym, that a lot will doubt it's my first time 🤣

I've seen mobsters log the guy is a beast!!! Super strong and he must have the record for the longest running log!

I have actually started training forearm directly on my back in shoulders days, as I feel like these have lost a fair bit of size dieting. So hopefuly some direct training will give them more reason to stick around. Heavy wrist curls and reverse curls. I could take a leaf or two out of mobsters log when it comes to forearm training really!

Yes, very happy with critical. Setting the bar high for UK ugls, plenty of testing reports which is great as it puts my mind at ease, knowing I'm using what is on the label, especially in a time like prep when the mind can start overthinking everything! And you can start doubting things. Smoothn gear, no lumps, again perfect especially when so lean and nothing worse then preparing a jab and then a bit of stopper coming off and having to refilter the whole thing 🤬. The comms are great and delivery is fast too so can't ask for anymore! Oh and theyve got some pretty cool stuff which other labs don't do which I'm looking forward to trying in the off season 😁yes... I'm already planning that far out haha.

That high carb day is the only thing that gets me through the week sometimes haha 😁

Will be in gym later for delts and triceps so will post my session up.

Thanks for reading 💪🏻

Just turned 30!

I will be going into as much detail as possible around the show, how I'm feeling, my thoughts etc, get some good stage shots and videos hopefuly too.
Your only a young fella. Mega keen to see how you do first show

have you considered doing the GLP'1's over the thyroid and stim? they are far better in every way. way less sides too @Simon90

Hi mate, I toyed with the idea but I think I'll sit it out for a bit first for the next year or so and keep an eye on how others get on with them. Make sure people aren't growing 2 heads or any freaky shiit, I'm ugly enough as it is 🤣

In all seriousness though, the T3/T4 I added as bloods shown was needed, and the yohimbine is something I just get on with and enjoy using I find it really does help with getting the stubborn bits off. My blood pressure sits between 110-115/60-70 typically and rhr is around low 60s. Stims aren't usually something I'd use and this will only be for the next 6 weeks.

My blood sugars are always a bit higher in the morning due to dawn phenomenon, so fasted usually around 4.4-4.6 average but post prandial sits around 3.8-4.2 90 mins after a meal.

I'm not against the peptides, I just don't know enough about them but will continue to read into them. I do like the idea of using one post show but Ive stil got more to learn yet.

Appreciate the suggestion though that's what the forums are for 💪🏻great to bounce ideas off like minded people

Bro your a beast crazy to think this is your first run! Hard work and commitment shines clear through you current physique brother well done 🔥 following along for sure.
Welcome to evo legend 👊
Thanks mate! And cheers for the welcome.

Yeah I'm putting everything I can into it. That way I know I've done everything I can, and I'd be happy with the outcome regardless knowing I couldn't have done anymore.

Never skipped a meal, never cheated on my diet, never skipped any cardio, never skimped on my training etc and it's starting to show

The tren is in there! And I'm loving it haha. Strength going up in the gym as bodyweight coming down. I even surprise my self once I get in there. I thunk how the fook can I lift those weights when I'm feeling so fooked the rest of the day 🤣

No pip, and the stoppers don't crumble like a lot of previous bits I've used in the past.

12 weeks out:
Test enanthate: 500mg/week
Masteron enanthate: 400mg/week
Trenbelone enanthate: 450mg/week

6 weeks out:
As I will be approaching 6 weeks out on Saturday the drugs will be changing too
Test enanthate: 500mg/week
Masteron enanthate: 800mg/week
Trenbelone enanthate: 450mg/week

Yohimbine: 20mg ED pre fasted cardio
T3: 25mcg ED pre fasted cardio
T4: 100mcg ED pre fasted cardio
you certainly will get a lot out of hte tren. just be careful with using stims + tren. it can really hurt you @Simon90 otherwise i like what you are doing here man.

Cheers mate, I agree with you. It's a dangerous combination, but it will only be ran short term. The rest of the year I never touch any other stims. One black coffee a week with Mrs on a Saturday morning is my lot. I do take my bloods seriously and also imaging twice a year.

Before a starting this prep, I have had an ultrasound on liver, kidneys, pancreas, spleen and abdomen. As well as an echo and stress echo for the heart. I will repeat these tests around 4 weeks post show. So it will have been around 20 weeks in total between tests. I know it's not guaranteeing everything but I like to take these precautions.

Really good workout today. I am lucky to have some good guys around me to keep an eye on how things are looking and give an honest opinion. One of them were in the gym tonight and was very happy with how I looked and says I am infront and on track to be ready 2 weeks out. Which made me happy. It's good to have an eye in person as photos don't always tell the full story, they can make some one look much better or much worse.

Delts/tris/forearms/abs was on the menu this evening.

Wake up

Abs, planks, 10 rounds of vacuums with 15 seconds hold and 10 second rest in between. The 10th round holding as long as physically possible.

Then straight into posing. No rest between poses I run through 3 rounds of quarter turns straight into 3 rounds of mandatories. All poses held for 35 seconds.

Then when I'm done with posing I jump on the bike for 30 mins of cardio. So it's a long morning before my first meal but I think it'll pay off!

Shoulder was niggling so played it safe and changed the training around a litle. Bit more volume and higher reps and it worked as I didn't feel any shoulder pain worsening by the end.

Bent over rear delt dumbell raises
75lb dumbells 2 x 8 with the second set going straight into a triple drop set with partials

Reverse Pec dec (60secs rest)
3 x 25, 20plus 5 partials, 15 plus 10 partials

Side delt machine with 2 sec squeeze
3 sets with a 30 second rest in between
20, 12, 7 plus 20 partials

Seated side dumbell raises
55lb dumbells x 9
45lb dumbells x 14 plus triple drop set and partials

Usually do a shoulder press here but played it safe and went with front raises
3 x fail

Wide grip up right rows (60second rest)
3 sets x 15, 12, 8

Shrugs
1 x 12 with 2 sec squeeze
1 x 20 with 2 sec squeeze

Dumbell skull crushers
60lb dumbells x 12
45lb dumbells x 16

Over head single arm dumbell extension
60lb dumbell x 7 plus 3 forced
45 lb dumbell x 11 plus 3 forced

Cable push down
1 x 11
1 x 15

Pin press
1 x 10
1 x 14

Load of tricep stretching and shoulder stretching/mobility

Decline bench leeg raises
3 x failure

Rope crunches
3 x failure

Dead hangs
90 seconds

30mins cardio

Done.

High day tomorrow cannot wait for that! Quads aswell so a good day to have it on.

Hope you all smashed your training this week 💪🏻

Wow that's a heavy duty session bro. Lots of volume there. You're a beast!

Direct forearm work is a smart call while dieting, wrist curls and reverse curls will help keep that size when everything else is leaning out. Critical sounds like it’s treating you right, smooth pins and proper testing is exactly what you need during prep, takes the stress out of it. High carb day is always the light at the end of the tunnel, fuels the training and keeps the mind sharp. Looking forward to seeing the delt and tri session later. :D

That’s a huge session and smart adjustments with the shoulder, still got plenty of delt volume in without aggravating it. Strong work with the heavy raises and all the drop sets and partials, that’s the stuff that brings detail in. Triceps took a beating too with skulls, extensions and pin press, that combo will keep them full. Morning posing, vacuums and cardio before first meal shows discipline, no doubt why you’re ahead of schedule. High day with quads tomorrow will be perfect timing to fill you back out. :D

The tren is in there! And I'm loving it haha. Strength going up in the gym as bodyweight coming down. I even surprise my self once I get in there. I thunk how the fook can I lift those weights when I'm feeling so fooked the rest of the day 🤣
bro okay good

yeah it can wear on your heart

Quads today. Alone. So didn't manage to get the pictures. Normally my Mrs will take em for me but she didn't come so will get some on Monday. My phone is shiit for pics. I took a quick pic of glutes, not great quality but shows where I'm at and after all true condition comes from the back. It's easy to look lean from the front. So I gauge my own progress from glutes / hams / lower back.

Great session progressed on everything. This is a new style of training for me for quads. Usually it's one heavy set one back off set but due to knee issues, both mcl torn, both meniscus torn and left hammy tear mid year I've had to change things round. For those who know you probably recognise the mountain dog esque style to it.

Single lying leg curl
3 x 20 (last session I got 20, 16, 14 here so very happy. Will go up next week)

Leg press
Up a plate a side in 8s til I fail 8.got to 10pps and failed. These are done with a close stance and lower on platform.

Leg press
50%weight off. Feet right at bottom of platform sissy style (heels off) smashes the tear drop. 1 pump set x 48

Smith squat with slow negative hack style
Up in 6s til I failed 6
20/sidex 6
40/side x 6
60/side x 6
80/side x 6
100/side x 5

Barbell walking lunge
100kg x 6 reps each leg
80kg x 14 reps each leg

Leg extensions
1 x 13
One pin off x 12 rest pause 7 rest pause 3 plus 10 partials

Adductor
1 rest pause set

Abductor 1 rest pause set

Load of stretching and foam rolling afterwards.

Glad to be part of the forum.

@Simon90 great start to the log man. I like the peds it will work well with your goals. Let’s see how far you can take it.

Glutes look peeled even with a bad pic, that’s a clear sign condition is right where it needs to be. Strong session too, volume is hot but with the knee and hammy history that mountain dog style makes sense, takes care of the joints while still smashing the quads. Hitting 10pps on the press then following with sissy style and smith hack negatives is brutal work, and that lunge strength is no joke either. You’re progressing every week and it shows in the detail from the back, that’s the true marker. :D

The pump set on the leg press is brutal!!

But it does get those knees nicely warmed up for the smith squats! Since my leg injuries it has forced me to train them in a way where I focus on the mind muscle connection much more. I do think they will inprove massively this off season! I hope! 😁

Rest day today.

Same morning as every morning. Wake up posing, abs, vaccums, planks and cardio.

Rest day I have 5 meals instead of 6, which is nice as it makes the meals a bigger and a bit more satiating. I also have longer sleep in the morning, I had 9 and half hours last night, so kind of like an intermittent fast, which gives me a shorter window to consume my food, again which helps as hunger is extremely high now!

From tomorrow the poses will be going from 35 second holds to 40 second holds. Food staying same as dropped 3lb this week.

Hope you're all enjoying your Sundays 💪🏻

6 weeks progress. Lighting not the best, especially with my washed out pale skin 🤣🤣and I'm very happy with the increases in strength as well!
To still be pressing 80kg db's whilst dieting is crazy for me. If I can maintain this through to the end of prep, then god knows what I'll be lifting after my rebound!

I know strength isn't the main objective in bodybuilding, but I am old school and I got into training to be big as fook and strong as fook, I'll get there one day 🤣

Posing holds now gone up to 40 seconds from 35 seconds this morning. Endurance is definitely improving and I'm enjoying posing a lot now, I will be attending a posing seminar after my show to learn from some of the best.

Cardio stays at an hour this week. Food will stay same too.

In gym this evening for chest, so will update after that. Have a good day guys 💪🏻

Wow you look really good in those shots, definitely bigger, thicker and leaner compared to before. Holding 80kg dumbbells while dieting is impressive, that strength holding will make your rebound crazy.
Posing endurance going up and sticking with the seminar after the show will polish things even more, you’re on the right track with both the look and the performance. :D

20mins cardio post workout
Big chest day, moving the 80s for reps and the 160 barbell incline with strong back off work shows pressing strength is climbing. The paused rep work at 100 with the long negative is a brutal chest builder, no wonder it blew you up.

All the fly variations, close grip bench, and that run the rack delt raise set made it a high volume session but you still finished with calves and cardio which is solid discipline. Keep that structure and recovery on point, the results will keep stacking. D:

@Simon90 Looking big and strong man........

Big session, that T-bar run the rack up to 6 plates and back down is brutal work and shows why your lats blew up. Following it with rows in every angle plus the 80kg dumbbell row for 17 reps proves you’re pulling serious weight.

Arms got hammered too with the heavy hammer curls into drops and the forced reps on preacher, that’s how you force growth. Finishing with cardio and mobility keeps recovery in check, smart way to close out after all that volume.

Training and cardio:

Cardio is now at 1 hour every day.

Wake up take fat loss supps, do 10 rounds of vacuums, planks, abs then 3 rounds of posing quarter turns and mandatories, holding every pose now for 35 seconds. I've been increasing this hold 5 seconds a week per pose, then I hit:
40 minutes fasted in the morning
20minutes post workout

Split is:

Monday:
Chest, one tricep exercise, one side delt exercise, abs and calves

Tuesday:
Back, biceps, one exercise rear delts, abs

Wedensday:
Hamstrings and glutes, calves

Thursday:
Off

Friday:
Delts and triceps, abs and calves

Saturday:
Quads

Sunday:
Off

I train hard and heavy. Intensity is everything. Typically 1 or 2 sets in the 5-10 rep range per exercise with intensifiers. Rest pause or drop sets usually and always with partials to finish where safe to do so. Certain muscles will get higher reps and more sets and also quad training has had to change due to my number of knee injuries.

Nutrition:

Food stayed relatively high until recently. Now it has dropped to:

500g carbs, 390g protein, 20g fats 6 x week

Then 1 day a week on quad day I have 1000g carbs 240g protein and trace fats

I eat the same foods every day, adjusting to my macros

My food sources are
Gluten free porridge oats
White rice
2% turkey mince
Egg whites
Whey iso
Greens
Blueberries

The fats come from the oats and my 10g fish oil, I do not count the fat from the turkey.

Supplements:

As of now I'm not taking many. I believe in cardio, lots of water and a clean diet year round takes care of most things. I run bloods every 8 weeks and if I do need to add anything it'll be based on the bloods. I don't add things for the sake of it.

Vitamin d3
Vitamin k2
Astragalus
Vitamin c
Vitamin b
Creatine
Eaas
Nordic fish oil
Curcumin
Digestive enzymes (my favourite supp)

That's really nicely laid out and succinct thanks man. Very cool what you're doing I look forward to reading your log entires :)

Bro you pushing harder in prep then a lot of fellas in there off season hahaha, proper beast! 🦍
I can wait to give the t bar row a run like that next rotation. Prob gonna run the rack on the side raises too now 😂😈👌
Haha I just love it! Training hard is what it's about! I am paying close attention to my recovery session to session, day to day right now, so as long as things are feeling good I'll keep on going!

I think there's a serious lack of hard training unfortunately at the moment. I see it in every gym I go to, it's rare to see someone actually training hard now.

Let us know how you get on with it 💪🏻I'm sure you'll love them! It's funny how quick it gets hard 🤣

Man I just started hitting the massage chairs at the gym twice a day and it's having a powerful effect on recovery for me. I highly recommend them :)

I completely agree with you brother, and hand on heart have been guilty of this myself in the earlier stages.
But there is no point just showing up and going through the motions. Why waste our own time if we aren't trying..

Then there are some deep dark days when im pushing so hard its like an instant headache after a set lol... then i ask myself: gun to your head how many more reps you got?
And then i try and push some more 🤣🤣☠️☠️

We don't even have a normal chair in my gym!!! Never mind a massage chair 🤣speaking of massage, I need to get myself in for some soft tissue work

It's really trippy you can figure out stuff like that from a list

Hamstrings/glutes/calves

Great session. You know the gear is good when your hitting pbs 5nhalf weeks out from show!

Single leg seated leg curl (never gone as heavy on this)
1 x 10
1 x 15

Single leg lying leg curl (anotjer weight pb)
1 x 7
1 rest pause set x 13rp5rp3

Defecit Smith machine SLDL (changed to Smith machine as bodyweight drops to minimise risk of injury. Really enjoying this movement)
John meadows style, 5 second negative, pause in stretch then come only 3/4 way up
3 x 10, 10, 9 (last week I did 20kg less for 10, 10, 7!)

Hip thrust
120/side x 7
100/side x 9 then drop a plate a side to failure til I hit one plate a side

Frog stance leg press. Extremely wide foot placement - slow and low knees are by my ears lol. Great for hitting adductors hammies and hip flexor/upper outer sweep
60 seconds rest max - 3 x 20
Last week managed 20, 20,12 so another progression. Will go up in weight next week

Adductor machine 3 x failure
SUPERSET
Abductors machine 3 x failure

Single leg toe press on leg press
1 rest pause set x 10 rp 5 rp 3 plus partials

Single leg seated calf raise
1 rest pause set x 8 rp 4 rp 2 plus partials

Calf, quads, hammies and hip stretches/mobility bits

That’s a huge lower session, PBs this close to stage show the gear and the prep are dialed in. The deficit Smith RDLs with those long negatives are brutal and the jump in weight from last week is big progress. Hip thrusts and frog stance presses back to back with short rest really bring that density in, and finishing calves with rest pause and partials locks in the detail. Five and a half weeks out hitting numbers like this puts you right on track.

I completely agree with you brother, and hand on heart have been guilty of this myself in the earlier stages.

A much needed rest day today!!

As I'm not training today, I have done my post workout cardio thus morning.

I still do all my ab training, vaccums, planks, posing, and cardio in the morning on rest day. Just no weights.

As much as I need the test, I still am itching to get in the gym 🤣have a good day guys and smash it 💪🏻

That's good information thanks bro, I always wonder how people manage this. My idea is to have consistent cardio of one type or another every day and just rest days from actual lifting.

Yeah I think some people take a rest day literally and do absolutely nothing! Which is fine depending on the goal and the individual.

If I was in the off season then yeah, It'd probably be a full rest day from cardio as well. Cardio would be in the off season but usually 3x week hit style where I can recover from it

I am absolutely delighted and very proud to announce that I have become Criticals first sponsored athlete!

I have some very big goals set for bodybuilding and with the support of critical, I know this will make those goals even more attainable. As after all, whilst training, nutrtion, rest and recovery is imperative, it's the gear that allows us to really take things to the next level.

I am only just at the start of my bodybuilding journey, but I am for sure going to make sure it'll be a good one.

My plan is to do my first show, where I plan to get on stage around 225lbs inside out peeled. Then take advantage of the post show rebound phase where I know there will be some serious growth.

With time, consistency, hardwork, discipline, and the best supplements I do believe I will make it into mass monster territory within the next couple years. I want to eventually be competitive as a superheavy weight and once I set my mind to a goal I will make sure it happens. But for now, it's time to finish this prep and do my first show. Then we GROWWWW💪🏻

Below is the announcement from critical themselves 💪🏻

"We are delighted to announce that we have our first CRITICAL partnership!
It's something that we had originally said we don't feel necessary, from a marketing perspective, HOWEVER, we also feel like opportunities like this don't present themselves very often.
Please all welcome Adam Browne, the first and only CRITICAL sponsored athlete.
Adam originally moved over to CRITICAL during the mass raws shortage, as we were the only lab that had the compounds he needed for his contest prep.
He was very impressed with the quality of our products, and has since decided to stay with us. But it wasn't until he joined in with our cycle logging on the forums that we actually spoke properly and I got a chance to look at some of his pre-contest prep photos...
JESUS CHRIST, this guy has made some INCREDIBLE progress in a relatively short time-frame since deciding to pursue bodybuilding seriously. And the fact that he is yet to even step on stage for his debut show, is mind-blowing.
Put it this way, I feel sorry for whoever has to stand next to him on stage for a "beginner's" show. Scary stuff!
Not only is he in ridiculous shape, but what also attracted our attention, is how meticulous and detail-focused his entire approach is. Much like the way In which we run CRITICAL, details matter. And if you get all these small things nailed, the cumulative result makes a big difference to the overall result.
So, Adam has 6 weeks left of prep, CRITICAL will support him with everything he needs to turn up on the day dominate. We can already picture every Jaw in the house dropping..."

As already discussed on page 1, the cycle changes now as I edge closer to the show. Will put below for anyone new to the log...

Test enanthate: 500mg/week
Masteron prop: 800mg/week
Trenbelone enanthate: 450mg/week

I will reduce the testosterone by half 2 weeks before the show and replace the mg with equivalent amount of mast prop. I will run the mast prop and tren all the way into the show.

Hgh is 10iu a day split 5iu pre workout, 5iu pre bed on training days and 10iu prebed on rest days. Again, this will be ran til show day as I do not hold water on the gh, but keep nice and full from it.

T3 will be 25mcg a day
T4 will be 100mcg a day
Yohimbine will remain at 20mg a day - yohimbine will be dropped around 10days out

Nice work bro! it's always really hard to get going when you're dead tired. I would not have been keen for 20 minutes of cardio after that haha

It's funny how you can be so sore and tired but after you hit that first set you're off and running. Everytime I've thought I'm to tired today, then I trained anyway, I never regret it when the session is done. Way to get after it bro. There's no way you aren't winning that first show.

They always tend to be the brtter session as well! Sometimes you're so hyped to get to the gym and it's not as good. I me a I love training so every session is good but sometimes you can set your expectations to high and not meet them. So when your tired like to day you mostly end up plesantly surprised.

Cheers mate I hope so! Either way, I know there's nothing more I could have done.

I also think I'll enter two shows on the day. The first timers obviously, and then enter my class (class 2) and do that as well. If I win either of those two I'll then go to the overall so could potentially be 3 goes in one day

That’s huge news, congrats on locking down Critical as your first sponsor. Having that backing early in your career makes the grind a lot smoother, especially with the quality they bring. :D
Critical is what a lab?

That’s a crazy session to grind through on prep, especially walking in dead and still pushing PRs. Moving 140 kg on high incline for 4 with near lockout is serious pressing strength, and those heavy laterals with 55s followed by drops show you’re not coasting even deep in prep. Volume plus intensity like that is what brings out the detail, and the forced reps on tris show you’re still finding that extra gear. Cardio on top after all that just cements it, that’s a pro level day of work.

Critical is what a lab?
Thank you!! I'm absolutely made up! Going to help bring my absolute best come show day plus the post show rebound is going to be awesome! That's what I'm looking forward too most! After all it's what bodybuilding is about to me. Building the body and getting as huge as physically possible. As much as I love and appreciate an aesthetic physique, mass monster is my goal!!

And yes, they're an underground lab.

Another tough one today!!

Quads.

Dragged my dead ass in there and got it done. Turned out to be a good session.

Warm up on bike, foam rolling and banded bits

Single leg Lying leg curl
Gone up an extra pin today 3 sets to failure, on the last set I have forced negatives (so when I feil they lift the weight and I compete the negative whilst they push down so I resist against them)

Leg press quad focused
Go up a plate per side for 8 reps, u til I can't complete 8 reps anymore. A lot of volume but only really working the last 2 sets

Leg press pump set
Feet all the way at the bottom of foot plate, heels together tom platz/sissy squat style
1 pump set rest pause style 31 reps 10 reps 7 reps

Smith squats
3 second negative as low as possible up in 6 reps til I fail 6

Barbell walking lunges
100lkg x 6 each leg was really unstable on this set today
80kg x 18 each leg

Leg extensions
1 x 13
1 x 12 rest pause 4 rest pause 2 plus 20 partials

Adductors
1 rest pause set plus partials

Abductors
1 rest pause set plus partials

Stretching mobility and posing post workout no cardio after quads.

Absolutely dead now!!!!

Can we upload videos on here? I'm useless with tech?

I've just started an Instagram account, never used it before til now.

@striated_shaft I will upload some training videos on there and if I can I'll stick them on here. I'm not a fan of filming in the gym, but if I have someone with me and they're not spotting me we can film some sets.

Also, apologies if not allowed please remove if not!

Yeah mate, in the top row of buttons (the editor functions up the top when you write) click on the icon that looks like a picture, then a new lower menu appears (if not click the three dots icon next to the picture icon to make it appear) and one icon obviously looks like a movie camera.

There's a limit tho, and one of the other icons is for embedding youtube links but that's a last resort type thing, uploading it to the forum will preserve it in your log for the future.

Let me know if you get stuck bro, I had a few errors when I did it and I'll try help.
