Hey am looking for some advice/guidance at 18.

First Cycle i will start 250 mg test e
Not sure wether I will even need to do a pct and might do finastride for dht. And wondering if I will need to block estrogen incase of growth plates?

Stats
Height 6 foot 1
Weight 85 kg
Body fat % 14 estimate
Age 18

Training 1.8 years
Program: upper lower

Supps
Creatine

welcome to the EVO family :D @Flippy you have a solid base, but you're really young.
have you done blood work?
 
Very very young, you have a solid base though. I doubt you will run into issues with e2 with how lean you are and the dose.

Dont really condone 18 year olds doing gear, but if you are going to, do bloods for a baseline, and add some supps like fish oil, red yeast rice, bergamot etc, to control lipids

Welcome to EVO bro! Thanks for your interest in possibly joining the EVO family you have a great base physique and I can tell you lift.

Consider this: you get bloodwork and find out that your testosterone is reasonably high. That would mean that you have plenty of hormones to continue growing (you do). You’ve only been training two years, so at least part of that time you were fumbling a little and just working through your newb gains
So you go through with your cycle anyway, which is conservative and I certainly appreciate that, you get some gains but nothing too crazy. Finally, you come off. You’re fine for a while, you suffer through a low hormone period, do your bloodwork and find out you only come back at eh, 70% of what you had.
This is somewhat likely because you will be stunting your development. Stopping the development process before it’s complete.

Eventually you will either atrophy to a point lower than what you have achieved currently, or you wind up hopping back on and eventually you’re stuck. Probably sooner than later.

I’m not your mom and I’m not telling you what to do, but you know what the people who love you will think about this.

Just consider the value of being patient. You’re not committed yet. You already look great.

Get that bloodwork and let’s see it! It’s easy to do, I’m getting blood taken here in about an hour and a half You gotta do it!

The way I'm looking at it is boosting growth in many aspects during the phase where its at the highest potential for maximizing. And also all though sure my test might not be as high naturally as it once was but at least I would still have atleast boosted/improved growth during that stage which cant be done years later. There's also far worse stuff I could be doing with no benfit but yeah definitely will do blood work and post it

Worried about the test aromatization into estrogen becuase there's a chance my growth plates are still open and don't want to shut them early.

Pretty small chance imo. We’ve seen a couple young fellas get the imaging done. Neither of them were as developed as you and sure enough, they were closed. But hey I’m not a pediatrician
 
Flippy are you natural to this point? I really think you need to consider your options as to why this is not a great idea at 18.
Is this driven through body dysmorphia via social media?
 
Are you willing to pin testosterone the rest of your life if you shut yourself down and cant or dont recovery properly ? These are things you need to really sit down and think about, forget a growth phase think long term, are you willing to be committed to life long testosterone replacement therapy ? Constant blood work and other issues that crop up along the way ? Its never black and white as all of us are different mentally and physically, its not something to take lightly when alternating your hormones.

In the end its your life and your decision i just want to educate you on the possibilities and decisions you are about to make in life, i know for me i didnt start running gear till later in life and i accomplished an awesome physique naturally before i even touched anything at all i worked for 7 years straight before i ventured down peds.

I can tell u from my own personal experience i did two 12 week sarms cycles breaks in between with properly done pct, my test levels never recovered and that was late 20s im 37 now and been on trt since my early 30s which i will never come off of because i need it to function.

Not fear mongering just want to educate and let u see some of our experiences and stories before you take the leap into this fully.
