first test E cycle

Hey I am 27 years old and I have been training for 6 years. looking to run my first steroid cycle to lose some fat and gain lean muscle mass. I am 18% body fat and 5'10" and 220 pounds. I have a plan of doing 500mg week for 12 weeks with nolva for my pct at 100mg a day. Is this plan good or should i try something else?
 
most guys are going to say your body is too high and they are right. you need to get that lower. but sometimes people post they are high body fat and they aren't cause they are using those bullshit online calculators to figure it out. post a pic for an accurate number

First test cycle should start with a 1000mgs kick start first 2 weeks to really boost you up IMO. Extend the cycle to 16 first run and use aromasin 12.5mgs as your AI, with pct way stronger then you plan.

1) Get the fat down a few %
2) That's not a PCT
3) Where's you AI?
 
I have no issue with 500mg test per week for a first cycle but don't expect to lose fat and build muscle. Steroids are really muscle building tools. Diet will help you get leaner. What I would do is focus on the diet first, get leaner (12-15% BF), then use the gear to build muscle. The body grows best when it is in a lean state. If you run the gear first, you will end up having to cut after and be too worried about losing muscle while dieting.
 
Id like to see a picture as well to get idea of body fat. Nolva isnt PCT the test will be great at 500mg IMO. What does the diet look like
 
As others have said, get your bodyfat down. A lot of people will say 15% but if you shoot for a little lower, say 12-13%, you can really make the most of your first cycle without getting too fat. If you run a test cycle at 18% you'll either end up at 22%+ or you'll start seeing the fat gains and stop eating enough, essentially wasting your cycle. Neither outcome is desirable.

Regardless of when you do it, make sure you have an AI and check out the perfect PCT sticky
