Good day and good macrosLog Day 123
First day back off deload and man did it feel good to lift again! I think the joy of lifting coupled with all the cardio had me sleeping like a baby last night. I don't think I even got up to pee...which is big lol.
I'm run into an arm focused mesocycle this go around. Trying to add to beef on these bones. If I can add an inch over the next couple months I'd be happy. The split had 3 dedicated arm days with everything else on the other 2 days. Having arms only allows me to add in more cardio. Did some speed walking to warm up and some steady state rowing post workout.
Goal is to go into my next cycle in October in tip top health and be in peak readiness for the Tren monster. This way if it doesn't work well for me I'll know for sure it's the compound and not something I did wrong. Hopefully my body and mind will enjoy some Tren.

Arnold curls? I'm gonna have to look that up. I know the Arnold press, but I always thought that was kind of a sub par movement.Good day and good macrostry the Arnold curls with the straight bar more they are wild.
100% agree with everything you said. Logically I completely get it but I just can't seem square it emotionally. I sound like a woman LOL!Yeah. I get it. I tried to be vegetarian too, and that’s actually the exact time that my body started falling apart on me. I actually left that part out of the origin story of my first log, because people get ruffled by it, but it’s the truth. I was dating a vegetarian nutritionist, and it really fucked me up. I used to miss shots on purpose hunting with my dad.
I came to terms with it when I was carnivore. Prey animals die a horror of a death before they get old in the wild, and then their bodies become the body of the predator. It’s the way life has worked since the very beginning.
It’s not feminine or anything to respect life. And you know? For as much as I was raised to be tough and everything, I’m in many ways a pacifist and I especially distain violence to animals. My psychopath step dad used to make me bludgeon our dog so it would stop barking. If I didn’t it would be me. And I had to hit the dog until it was unconscious. Which was really hard for a kid to do, and the dog never for one moment even distrusted me. It wouldn’t even cower from me. But it just wouldn’t stop barking. He used to make me bathe our cat. He thought it was the best entertainment ever. Our cat was big and could kill squirrels and it fought dogs. Used to tear me tf up. But he was still my buddy.100% agree with everything you said. Logically I completely get it but I just can't seem square it emotionally. I sound like a woman LOL!
Can't eat only veggies, but can't support factory farming so I only buy free range meat in the hopes to the animals atleast has a good life. Tried beyond meat a couple times and that shit is trash! Did burgers, tacos, pasta, all disgusting. Turns out it's bad for you too.
If they can grow a perfect healthy cut of meat in a lab I'd be all for that even if it costs a premium. They're doing it on a small scale already so hopefully it's not too far away.
Damn bro...your dad sounds like a fukn asshole. Sorry you had to go through all that. Breaks my heart to hear it. Glad you found little ways to escape and you didn't let it turn you into a serial killer or somethn. It’s not feminine or anything to respect life. And you know? My favorite thing to do ever was to just go as deep into the woods as I could without coming near the other side and just sit in silence until all the animals would come back out. I got a red squirrel to take a walnut off my foot. That’s like, an activity that’s goes back further than our species.
When we went to Mexico in the summers I would catch a chicken with my cousins, and the adults would kill it and cook it. Besides fishing that’s as close to killing and eating an animal as I’ve come.
All of the carnivore propaganda I’ve consumed over the years leaves me EXTREMELY skeptical of lab grown meat. It’s like, sure, we can use bacteria to create recombinant proteins, peptides, hormones. But if you separated twins at birth and fed one farmed trout, and one wild caught trout, I believe you would see a drastic difference in health outcomes. There’s a lot going on in animal food. Stuff we know about, and complex things we don’t fully understand.
When I was carnivore, I bought all my bulk meat from a regenerative farm in the middle of nowhere, the land was the original prairie and had never been mono-cropped. I can’t buy it anymore because even if you buy a half cow, it’s $28/pound!!! But it’s just about the best meat in the world. That was 90% of my diet for four years and if I had good pictures of my glow up, I would be famous. But it was even more striking for people who were around me. My body had almost zero odor no matter what. I smelled just a tiny bit like cedar. Women commented about it more than once, it was really something. Lots of things like my skin improved. It was really crazy, you would have had to see it. When I went back to the ski team people were tripping really. I could keep going but my point is, that stuff was magic. No way they are even slightly replicating the magic of nature with lab meat. Of course I’m hypocritical preaching nature when we all know I use chemicals to cheat nature myself, but we still need it, I sincerely believe it, and I think one could easily show a huge difference over a long enough timeline. Especially over generations.
Yeah, you’re right. Technology is growing exponentially. It’s not outlandish to think that if the computers are fed enough data, they can figure it out. And they’re going to have to, because we probably won’tDamn bro...your dad sounds like a fukn asshole. Sorry you had to go through all that. Breaks my heart to hear it. Glad you found little ways to escape and you didn't let it turn you into a serial killer or somethn.
I just meant I sounded like a woman because the I understand the logic but I'm letting my emotions dictate my decisions lol.
Wild caught or pasture raised is definitely the way to go if you can afford it. My grocery bill is at the point of a lot of people's mortgage payments now lol. I think it's worth it tho because the benefits of eating well are very obvious.
Who knows what they can do with science and AI working together in the future. It's my understanding that they just multiple cells to build the meat at this point but I'm sure the technology will jump in leaps and bounds soon. There's definitely a huge market for it. The environmental benefits to eliminating factory farms and then eliminating food security around the world is a good reason for companies to invest. Maybe in 10 years we'll all be eating meat from a tube and it will be biologically superior to real meat... you never know.
@BeMe I did the article on Arnold (doing more soon), and his "Arnold curl" is like a cheat one.Arnold curls? I'm gonna have to look that up. I know the Arnold press, but I always thought that was kind of a sub par movement.
the body will fight you is why. so the opposite will happen when you don't expect itIt's weird cuz it's totally the opposite of when I'm off cycle. The only thing I could think of is maybe in the earlier parts of the day I'm less hydrated so my body is trying to hold onto water and later in the day I'm fully hydrated so my body starts flushing maybe?
Yea it's a pretty cool time to be alive. We're going to witness the greatest revolution in history.Yeah, you’re right. Technology is growing exponentially. It’s not outlandish to think that if the computers are fed enough data, they can figure it out. And they’re going to have to, because we probably won’t
Cool. I'll look up the article.@BeMe I did the article on Arnold (doing more soon), and his "Arnold curl" is like a cheat one.
You load a straight Olympic bar with heavy weight, stand upright, and use a slight body swing to get past the sticking point so you could overload the biceps. Arnold believed this cheat style, done in a controlled way, allowed him to use more weight and create more muscle growth. Remember he did a negative down slow too.
I was thinking about our convo yesterday when I got home from work actually. I was working in a serious sweat box all day, over 100 degrees and indoors so no breeze. No matter how much water I drank I was still dehydrated. Even got a cramp in my ab that dropped me to my back doing breathing exercises. When I got home and went to jump in the shower I noticed I looked seriously swole, but I was sooooo dehydrated. I think that's been the most dramatic example I've seen of what we were talking aboutthe body will fight you is why. so the opposite will happen when you don't expect it
well that is why guys pay big bucks for coaches to manipulate their water ahead of a comp. plus our bodies are made mostly of water. so are the musclesI was thinking about our convo yesterday when I got home from work actually. yeah that is a great sceneLol Lemmy is God haha. I'm a bit too young to get motorhead but I can appreciate how at the time hearing them for the first time coulda been life changing.
These 90s cult classics are the best. Half baked and Clerk's were 2 of my faves
bros the cowbell actually supposed to calm them down lol plus let us know where they at if they loose in woodsLOL that goat is rowdy! Just wanted to scrap everyone. It's probably pissed that it has to listen to that cowbell all day. I'd be angry too
bros that goat is the GOATQuality entertainment right here. My uncle had an asshole goat too. With horns that stood straight up
@BeMe awesome work man. You have made great progress in your physique. The sky’s the limit.
Tom Brady of goats! Definitely not some poosy Texas goatbros that goat is the GOAT
I'll be @ you on itCool. I'll look up the article.
I'm gonna try that out. I might not be able to do it though. I'm not able to full supinate my right wrist cuz to an accident and doctor malpractice that lead to compartment syndromr. Might not be able to do a straight bar cuz of it but give it a go.
My biceps grow different cuz of that lack of mobility in my wrist @LevButlerov
I can't build a peak on my right arm but my left peaks, but my right arm is little bigger. They grow different cuz the lack of the reduced rom on my right arm.I'll be @ you on it
Your arms look good not sure what you mean on BIs.
Maybe but looks good on pics though, seems very similar in size both armsI can't build a peak on my right arm but my left peaks, but my right arm is little bigger. They grow different cuz the lack of the reduced rom on my right arm.
Yea it's not as noticeable in pics. I'm probably just a bit picky too lol. My youngest brother noticed it too tho.Maybe but looks good on pics though, seems very similar in size both arms![]()
Yea in pics its coolYea it's not as noticeable in pics. I'm probably just a bit picky too lol. My youngest brother noticed it too tho.
Good Arnold had huge arms from it and many clients I've had did too. @BeMeI tried the straight bar Arnold curls today with just the barbell and it didn't hurt. I can't hold it perfectly with my right hand but I think I can do it
Hopefully I can join the club!
@BeMe I checked your bloods, its not in context so hard to tell, would like to see all others.Log Day 125
Just got off the phone with my doctor, going over my recent labs and it looks like I gotta dial back my protein. He thinks it could be the cause of my low uric acid. I've got a screenshot below of the results trend and April is when I hoped on cycle and upped the protein to 400g+ a day. My copper serum was low too so I'm gonna get a supplement for that.
Good news is the homocysteine and methylmalonic acid tests came back perfect so I don't have any disease leading to my chronically out of range blood markers. Looks like I'm just overtrained. Seems to be the common theme everytime I get bloodwork done. All my out of range markers can be explained by heavy training.
Looks like more chickens will survive this year for now with my lower protein intake. I'm weighing just over 190lbs lately so I'll probably drop to 300g protein a day and see how my next bloodwork looks in 6-8weeks.
The gear did elevate some of my low markers into an optimal range. RBC, Triglycerides, bilirubin all up and healthier thanks to the gear. My doc asked how much I gained on cycle and I told him just over 15lbs. He said based on that and my bloodwork I had a really great cycle and did a good job of it. Thanks to all the EVO fam for helping me achieve a doctor approved cycle lol. Couldn't have done it without you guys.

I’m so curious about your doctor thinking the high protein was the cause of low uric acid. It’s like, you have the opposite of gout, which they love to blame meat consumption for. I think it’s more from beer, and perhaps lots of meat and beer at the same time.Log Day 125

My CK isn't much of a worry just cuz I trained really hard before the bloodwork so I know why it's elevated.@BeMe I checked your bloods, its not in context so hard to tell, would like to see all others.
CK is high here and that’s usually from muscle breakdown after hard training and heavy lifting so it’s not always dangerous if you’re healthy but you don’t want it staying up forever.
Uric acid is dropping but still higher than ideal and that comes from a lot of protein especially red meat and certain seafood plus not enough water.
Drink enough water every day around 35 to 40 ml per kg bodyweight and space it out instead of chugging once or twice. I'm thinking you need over 1 gallon of water per day.
Back off from hard eccentric training like heavy deadlifts or squats for a few days before you test so CK doesn’t spike from the gym work. Though I think you might need more time to recover actually.
You can keep protein high but mix in more plant based sources and cut down on organ meats and purine rich foods if uric acid is an issue. Thinks pea protein in this case.
Adding vitamin C can help the body clear uric acid a bit faster and it’s easy to work into a diet, and you need electrolytes in there as well. Your potassium is low should be high.
If you use creatine you can lower the dose or cycle off for a bit to see how much it’s affecting your CK numbers. Not sure you on it?
Doc said when your body working OT to break down the extra protein can lead to low uric acid. It could also lead to mineral deficiency.I’m so curious about your doctor thinking the high protein was the cause of low uric acid. It’s like, you have the opposite of gout, which they love to blame meat consumption for. I think it’s more from beer, and perhaps lots of meat and beer at the same time.
By my thinking, if you ate something like liver, your uric acid should raise. But is that treating the symptom or the cause?
You’re taking a multi with copper already, yeah? Supplements are such a rabbit hole. You can go in circles forever about copper, zinc, and selenium. I read that they should be taken together. And then there’s the matter of absorption. And I never felt anything from them but when I ate oysters I can always tell that I’m getting superior nutrition.
Organ meats have the highest purine content. I get these packs of ground beef that have a little bit of liver and heart in it. Taste difference is negligible. It’s pretty good. Maybe you can find someDoc said when your body working OT to break down the extra protein can lead to low uric acid. It could also lead to mineral deficiency.
I don't eat a ton of red meat. A lot of chicken. I ate a ton of beef 4 days before the test but after that was all chicken cept for the bag of jerky I eat at lunch everyday.
Purine would raise my uric acid?Organ meats have the highest purine content. I get these packs of ground beef that have a little bit of liver and heart in it. Taste difference is negligible. It’s pretty good. Maybe you can find some
Yes high purine foods raise uric acid, and people who eat those food and can’t clear the uric acid get gout.Purine would raise my uric acid?
You know 1000mgs isn't much, you're not absorbing all that vitamin C, bump that to 3000mgs. @BeMeMy CK isn't much of a worry just cuz I trained really hard before the bloodwork so I know why it's elevated.
I think I was a bit dehydrated when I did the test. I only drank like 8oz of water after I woke up and went to the test.
My doc did mention upping my C intake a bit. I'm on 1000mg already.
I drink well over a gallon everyday. I'm a thirsty boy lol. I drink 3/4 gallon just at work. Then another 3/4 at home too. Then 48oz of supplement shakes. 6-8 cups of black coffee at work too.
My potassium on this bloodwork was kinda high actually. Threw off the sodium to potassium ratio. My doc said it could be cuz of dehydration. I must be more mindful of hydrating before these blood tests.
Overall bloodwork was really good. My doc was really happy.
Cool. Maybe I'll give that a shot. I have liver treats for my dogs, how bad could they taste lol.Yes high purine foods raise uric acid, and people who eat those food and can’t clear the uric acid get gout.
Ok, 3000mgs a day it is. I usually take 3000 a day when I'm feeling a bit sick so I know my body is good with it. You taught that. C and elderberry works like magic. You know 1000mgs isn't much, you're not absorbing all that vitamin C, bump that to 3000mgs. @BeMe
Are you doing daily elecrolytes?
EPIC makes these liver jerky bites. They’re an acquired taste. One of my favorite things in life is to eat them in front of me guys at work, really get their mouths watering, maybe leave an open pack on the dash board.work right through lunch. It’s not what you’re expecting hahahaha. I told a kid they were dog food hahaha. After he went around the truck and spit it out like a little kid.Cool. Maybe I'll give that a shot. I have liver treats for my dogs, how bad could they taste lol.
I'll check the grocery store this weekend and see what they got. Thanks bro.
Bro I can't even count how many stories involve you fucking with your guys LOL. Hard to tell if you're the best boss ever or the worst. To me, liver treated different depending on if you’re craving it. It has huuuge amounts of vitamins in it. If I’m craving it, I can actually taste the sweetness in it. If not, it’s bitter.
If you never ate liver… you probably won’t like it. Heart is really good though! It’s just like a portobello! I had a lamb heart it was really good. I want to get a bison heart when I get my smoker
I’m both, all day. The original sour patch kid from birth. I've tried chicken hearts and they were good. It was a Latin style dish at a restaurant. I've eaten beef liver when I was younger and I HATED it. Could be cuz I was a kid. Maybe I'll give it another shot.
@BeMe Vitamin C elderberry is perfect, but you can start getting vitamin C up to 3000mgs the way you train and eat easy.Ok, 3000mgs a day it is. I usually take 3000 a day when I'm feeling a bit sick so I know my body is good with it. You taught that. C and elderberry works like magic.
I take the extra stength Pedialyte in the morning before I head to work. I sweat so much at work and without it I cramp up so quick.
Maybe I need to start drinking another pouch when I come too? I drink an extra one on days where it's really hot and literally sweat all day long.
If I drink pea protein will I have low T and grow a man bun? Lol. Seriously though how much pea protein is ok? I'm trying to think how much meat I can cut and substitute with pea protein instead.
Hey lev, I think we’re are seeing different things. His uric acid is low out of range on the latest test, right? Are you seeing it high uric acid? @LevButlerov@BeMe Vitamin C elderberry is perfect, but you can start getting vitamin C up to 3000mgs the way you train and eat easy.
I would add extra electrolytes, worth it IMO.
Pea protein, I think like 1 shake to swap your whey not to swap steak![]()
Haha got it. Pea for whey...there's a word play joke there cuz it just sounds funny but I can't think of it lol.@BeMe Vitamin C elderberry is perfect, but you can start getting vitamin C up to 3000mgs the way you train and eat easy.

Oh ya I just googled Vitamin c uric acid and you use C to lower uric acid, but ya my uric acid is already low. I gotta raise it back up into range.Hey lev, I think we’re are seeing different things. His uric acid is low out of range on the latest test, right? Are you seeing it high uric acid? @LevButlerov
My doc asked if I pee a lot and I was like yea I drink a ton of water all day so it's hard to say if I'm peeing more than I should or not.Hey lev, I think we’re are seeing different things. His uric acid is low out of range on the latest test, right? Are you seeing it high uric acid? @LevButlerov
Dude I drink so much water and pee so much. I actually used to be worse. And I always got terrible cramps. I think it got better on T?! I never really thought about it but I used to just be peeing all over the place. For yeeeears. I can put down 2 gallons in a day easy. I eat a lot of salt. I like Lmnt and redmonds electrolytes. They’re too good though and I’ll just drink them all day, it would be absurdly expensiveMy doc asked if I pee a lot and I was like yea I drink a ton of water all day so it's hard to say if I'm peeing more than I should or not.
Doc said the high protein can cause me to pee more and excrete my uric acid in my pee. Maybe the vitamin C will make me retain more of my uric acid?
Maybe I just gotta work on my kegels and squeeze lol
Ya T helped cool down my peeing too. Especially at night. Must be rough for you if you're working outdoors in the city. You must've had a piss jug on the truck. Like Ricky's dad from Trailer Park Boys lolDude I drink so much water and pee so much. I actually used to be worse. And I always got terrible cramps. I think it got better on T?! I pee like a ninja. I could be looking right at you, you wouldn’t even know. Plus I was on probation and pre trial probation for two consecutive cases totaling 7 years so I have zero stage fright. I can pee on demand, as much as you want, without even having to go hahaha.Ya T helped cool down my peeing too. Especially at night. Must be rough for you if you're working outdoors in the city. Lmnt is crazy expensive up here. I like gorilla mind but it's a bit pricey too. I've found best bang for buck is Pedialyte, but it doesn't taste as good as the gorilla mind.
I drink 1/3tsp of pink salt every morning too
Lol diy Lmnt..you mad scientist.I pee like a ninja. I could be looking right at you, you wouldn’t even know. Plus I was on probation and pre trial probation for two consecutive cases totaling 7 years so I have zero stage fright. I can pee on demand, as much as you want, without even having to go hahaha.
Pedialyte really works. That was the secret to my functional alcoholism. Real, name brand, liquid pedialyte. Drank the whole thing after a night of drinking, before I went to bed, even if it made me throw up, that would just help me absorb less alcohol. Was never ever hungover the next day, could work in any heat, even though I would drink like 9 long islands and shots the night before
I tried buying ingredients from bulk supplements to make my own Lmnt. Made me sick. Idk how they do it, but apparently diy potassium dosing can be dangerous.
When I drank coffee and ate kratom, but was otherwise carnivore, my electrolytes were so bad I would saturate a glass of water with salt until there was still salt that wouldn’t dissolve. And keep it by my bed. I actually think that combination of zero carbs and natural diuretics is extremely dangerous, as bad as pharmaceuticals. I should dig up dung pics though. I was little and natty but soooo ripped hahaha
I’m prone to extremes hahaha. But seriously. I’m not religious but my spontaneous recovery from alcohol was an actual miracle. I was not able to stop, it was 100% killing me and alcohol destroyed my family from every angle.Lol diy Lmnt..you mad scientist.
Glad you're not drinking like that anymore...that's crazy. 9 long islands...omg...that's nasty lol
The miracle got you sober but you're the one doing the hard work of staying sober. Keep it up!I’m prone to extremes hahaha. But seriously. I’m not religious but my spontaneous recovery from alcohol was an actual miracle. I was not able to stop, it was 100% killing me and alcohol destroyed my family from every angle.
But I was high functioning. I made great money, looked ok if wasn’t hungover, hot gf(s). Cars trucks bikes boats attorneys hahaha. But my kids were well on their way to hating me and my time was running out for my health and sanity.
Had to be a miracle
It’s not even work. I can’t stand the taste of it and like three drinks would make me feel terrible and I have to sleep it off. It’s like a story of someone getting hit in the head and changing their whole personality. The miracle got you sober but you're the one doing the hard work of staying sober. Keep it up!
If you want to punish your liver just used some peds and get some gains outta it lol
just a mix for the shake dont overdo the pea one lolHaha got it. Pea for whey...there's a word play joke there cuz it just sounds funny but I can't think of it lol.
I just ate 650g of ribs for dinner so the meat is here to stay haha
@toddthelineman his uric acid is not low at all. Yeah it dropped from what it was before but 187 and 174 are still normal for a guy eating a lot of protein and it is nowhere near the low range. If it was actually low we would be looking at stuff like poor nutrition, meds, or his body dumping too much. Vitamin C is not going to tank it too far, it just helps the kidneys clear it better. You would have to be pounding crazy amounts of vitamin C for it to even be a problem, like 5-10 grams ED.Hey lev, I think we’re are seeing different things. His uric acid is low out of range on the latest test, right? Are you seeing it high uric acid? @LevButlerov
My doctor is supposed to send me some info about a copper supplement. Apparently my low copper could be contributing to my low uric acid.@toddthelineman his uric acid is not low at all. In his case a bit more vitamin C could help move it down a little if needed. He is fine where he is now but we just do not want it creeping higher again over time. Purely caution here.![]()
I’ve never heard of a doctor so cool about it. Maybe he lifts? I did have a meat head doctor once, for a worker’s comp case. He insinuated that he believed I didn’t hurt myself at work and kept asking me “what I did” like working out or whatever. I had never been in a gym in my life at that point. He just couldn’t believe that sometimes could be ripped from working. It really pissed me off, and actually caused me a lot of problems and delayed my treatment for monthsLog Day 126
Big day yesterday. Had a phone meeting with my doctor regarding my bloodwork and he was happy with my cycle results and bloodwork. Few small details to iron out and he's working on a supplement plan for me.
I also discussed my starting GH with my doctor and he's all for it. He said normally he'd like to run and IGF1 and IGFBP3 test prior to use, but since I'm only running 2iu ed then he said it's not a problem. If I'm going to up my GH he said we can come up with a plan before I start.
Felt like I was in beast mode again training yesterday. Increased weight, reps, of both on all my movements. I'm still making strength gains even on the taper without any anavar pre-workout. This is crazy.

My doc actually specializes in men's health. He's brilliant and a serious athlete. He used to play sports, competed in strong man comps, and he's a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu with over 10 years of training. He's a killer nerd lol. He doesn't even charge all that much either. Everytime I get the invoice I'm like man he could be charging me double and I wouldn't blink. I'm really lucky I found him. He's a lot like the EVO fam where he's always happy to help and seriously generous with his time. Our consults always run way over the 30 min schedule but he never charges me extra.I’ve never heard of a doctor so cool about it. It really pissed me off, and actually caused me a lot of problems and delayed my treatment for months
Zinc and copper you should be taking it prebed with essential minerals, can you add it?My doctor is supposed to send me some info about a copper supplement. Apparently my low copper could be contributing to my low uric acid.
@BeMe doctor seems cool about itLog Day 126

That’s how I would do it!@toddthelineman I figure you're the best guy to ask this question, being your such a mad scientist with so much experience.
I'm doing my first GH dose tonight. For reconstitution is there an amount of BAC water you find works best?
My vials at 15iu each.
I was thinking maybe just 1.5ml so 1iu per 0.1ml but maybe that's dumb and bad for some reason I don't know?
I would use a 1ml luer lock syringe and an 18g needle, draw the bac water, remove the needle from the syringe and plunge a new 18g needle into the gh vial to release the vacuum. That’s how I would do it!
Exactly what I already did lol.I would use a 1ml luer lock syringe and an 18g needle, draw the bac water, remove the needle from the syringe and plunge a new 18g needle into the gh vial to release the vacuum.
Then attach the syringe full of backwater into the needle in the gh vial, and slowly bleed the bac water into the gh.
Then remove the syringe from the needle in the gh, reattach it to the needle in the bac water, and pull .5 ml and repeat the process.
But this time, once the 1.5 ml is all in the gh and it’s fully dissolved (no shaking or anything like that) pull it into the syringe, and another syringe, and attach 29g needles to them.
Now you can dose with just a new needle but same syringe each time, and not have to reenter the vial several times.
Lately I’ve been refrigerating my bac water before I reconstitute. I’ve never heard anyone say you need to do that, but I’ve heard a hundred people say that as soon as it gets warm it starts to degrade and once that process gets rolling it’s really too late, you’ve lost product. So I do it.
I also use isopropyl alcohol in spray bottles and I clean EVERYTHING and my hands before I reconstitute.
We used to have a sports doctor that worked with pro athletes on our ski team, but he moved to a better market. We got a chiropractor now that’s suspiciously ripped hahaha. He’s super cool, just joined, we are doing a pairs act now. I think where I am to find a legit doctor that cool, who was even willing to talk freely about these things… I wouldn’t even know. Definitely have to go to the big city, and I can’t even imagine what you could spend.Yep I'm definitely adding in a supplement. Waiting to see which one my doctor recommends.
I shared my most recent bloodwork yesterday. It's missing a few thing cuz it was a follow-up on the previous bloodwork in June. I'll throw that up now.
My doctor sent me a follow up email from yesterdays consult.
"It was a pleasure to see you today and review your health concerns. I truly appreciate the time you took to share details about your health and personal life. It sounds like you've been busy with the "eat, work, sleep, rinse, repeat" cycle! I’ve summarized our discussion below to ensure you have a clear understanding of what we talked about during your visit.
1. Review of Your Blood Work
During our discussion, we talked about your recent blood test results. Overall, things are stable, and the main findings appear to be related to your high-protein diet, intense training, rather than any major health issues. It is important to remember that these factors can significantly influence your lab markers.
2. Low Uric Acid
Another key point we covered was your low uric acid level. This is likely because your high protein intake is using up certain minerals (like molybdenum, biotin, and B6) that are needed to process protein. It's important to address this, as very low uric acid can impact your central nervous system. I will be sending you a recommendation for a supplement to help correct this.
3. Cholesterol and Inflammation
We also discussed your cholesterol results. Your total cholesterol and HDL ("good" cholesterol) are low, which we believe is a result of your intense training regimen. Your LDL particles are the healthy, large type, and your triglycerides are at a good level. Some markers, like high platelets and slightly elevated liver enzymes, suggest some inflammation and tissue breakdown, which is expected with strenuous exercise. Your inflammatory markers were otherwise normal.
Next Steps:
Please look out for an email with the supplement recommendation to address the low uric acid. We will continue to monitor your labs, and I would like to see you for a follow-up in a few weeks to review your progress and see how the Testosterone is doing.
Thank you for trusting me with your care. If you have any questions or concerns about anything we discussed, please do not hesitate to reach out."
He's such a cool doctor. Love this guy.
Yes I really like using a mini fridge, wherever all the food is not at. I’m not the type to let a bunch of produce rot in the back, but it seems like no matter what, if you unplug a fridge, it gets stinky. There’s a lot of bacteria potential in a refrigerator. So much. I don’t want my exotic liquid proteins anywhere near raw chicken or any such thing. I have a little insulin fridge with a lithium battery that will last a while in the event of a power outage, and it beeps if it loses power. I can plug it into a usb as well, so I can use a jumpstart pack and it would last a long time. My only gripe is that it’s too small for a fully drawn 1ml luerlock. So I often use 2.5 or 3 ml syringes, but those are harder to measure small .1ml doses.Exactly what I already did lol.
I keep everything in the fridge all the time. I figure it can only help to maintain the freshness right. Everything is always recommended to be in a cool dark place so I figure why not my little bar fridge.
For the pinning I'm just using my peptide syringes. 30g 100unit 5/16" insulin pins.
Ya I think I'm really lucky to have my doctor, he's a one in a million. He's a really cool guys guy and super supportive of me doing what I want with my body. He just advises and helps, no judgement. He's not giving me cycle tips or anything like that but he understands the health risks and knows what to look for and how to fix it. Even when I was running TRT only he'd say the numbers and ranges are just suggestions, we're working for what makes you feel the best with no health risks. We used to have a sports doctor that worked with pro athletes on our ski team, but he moved to a better market. Yeah dude. I’m down here risking it all. I don’t have health insurance. I’m my own doctor. If I get any real health issues I will be in a real jam. When I was employed, my health insurance was +/- $800 a month, and it paid for NOTHING until I had to spend $5k. Then it paid for half of medical expenses, which cost double OR MORE than if you self pay.Ya I think I'm really lucky to have my doctor, he's a one in a million. Man that sounds pretty terrible. $800 a month for nothing is crazy....how much does one need to pay for actual good insurance down there?Yeah dude. I’m down here risking it all. I don’t have health insurance. I’m my own doctor. If I get any real health issues I will be in a real jam. When I was employed, my health insurance was +/- $800 a month, and it paid for NOTHING until I had to spend $5k. Then it paid for half of medical expenses, which cost double OR MORE than if you self pay.
When I resigned from my job I was given a year of health insurance as part of my severance package. I found out it was cheaper, sometimes way cheaper, to tell them you own a business and will self pay. And really, the doctors can’t do ANYTHING the insurance companies don’t want to pay for, so in every case I was in, I got very little help, and in more than one case if I had some way to circumvent the system I would have been much better off.
It’s ridiculous here. There are people who are forced to be employed even though they are rich or working is a major difficulty for them, but it’s the ONLY way they can be insured, and without the insurance to pay for the exorbitant drug prices (driven up by insurance) they would die.
But everyone goes along with it. Tying your family’s health insurance to your job is often a form of slavery. It’s slavery lite.
Well. I applied for the affordable care act, but it was like $1600 a month and I couldn’t figure out the coverages. It’s based on your income, and what’s really messed up is, it was “sold” to us as a way to make healthcare affordable for everyone, but if you just analyze the numbers, if you can completely remove the politics, it made all healthcare MUCH LESS AFFORDABLE. It did so in the same way that student loans made a good degree cost 100k EASILY. I can absolutely set up healthcare through my business, that’s the American way. For it to be worth a damn, I simply cannot afford those plans. It would take me years of building my company for that to pay off and my industry is tough as hell. Very few break through from the “mom and pop” company size to the corporation that can do things like that. It happens. I was the lead foreman of a company that started like me and we took it to a nine figure company. It’s going to be hard and idk if I even want the smoke tbh.Man that sounds pretty terrible. $800 a month for nothing is crazy....how much does one need to pay for actual good insurance down there?
What about Obama care? Do you have to be jobless to qualify for that or somethn?
Can you find a good insurance plan and put it through your company? Up here we can do that. If I wanted to add health and dental insurance I could set it up for myself through my company and pay it all through the company.
Man the immigrants who come to our country pay less for health insurance than you do as a tax paying citizen in yours.Granted you guys get a much better level of service and better doctors on the whole.Well. There’s some other options. Group health type things for small business owners. I’m looking into it. But I’d definitely have to lie about some things, because you can be disqualified for things like smoking. If you were an open and honest PED user they wouldn’t want to be paying for your extra care.
I’ve heard that a lot, too. I don’t envy the Canadian position. There’s a lot of people here trying to use Canada as an example of how we should be. Well idk the answer to any of this stuff. For sure, in the US there are way too many hands in the cookie jar, and the way our economy works, everybody has to keep getting rich af or everything will collapse. But things get harder and harder for people in the margins and it’s worryingMan the immigrants who come to our country pay less for health insurance than you do as a tax paying citizen in yours.Granted you guys get a much better level of service and better doctors on the whole.
It's funny cuz we're neighbours but our medical systems are the exact opposite, and the countries with good medical systems sit right in the middle.
We're a 100% public medical system. Good if you really need help and can't afford it, bad if you need help fast. Our system is overwhelmed and with the recent spike in immigration it's gotten a lot worse. People are literally dying waiting to see a specialist. You could end up staying in a hospital hallway cuz there's no rooms available. Over 30% of Canadians can't find a GP cuz there's none available, even in a big city like Toronto. I've been trying to get a GP for 8 years now with no luck. My GP is in his mid 80s so any day now he could retire and I'm gonna be outta luck.
We're the only country in the first world with a 100% public healthcare system which is why we have the highest money spent with the worst health outcomes in the G7. Your system may be bad but we go to America for healthcare, you guys only come here for cheaper meds lol. No one in the first world is trying to get here for treatment lol.
Ya same thing goes here, America gets held up as the higher standard we need to live up too. It's like politics, polarized hardline opinions from way out one side to the other. As usual, the best option lies right in the middle. From the outside looking in it seems like the Scandinavian countries have found a really good balance. Granted they do have a much smaller more homogeneous culture. We'd be able to pull it off a lot easier than you guys. America is a massive ship that's pretty hard to turn around.I’ve heard that a lot, too. I don’t envy the Canadian position. Shredded looking good manThis is my first log, I'm brand new to the forum. If you guys need anymore info please let me know. I tried to pair it down a bit because it already seems like an info overload. I track a lot, been trying to optimize my training for a couple years, so info wise, if you need it I probably have it.
