Approved Log Getting Lean in FIFO - Testosterone Tirzepatide Peptides Cutting Cycle LOG

DannyPrimo

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Hi all!

Thought I’d throw up a log for people to peruse and myself to look back on as I go through my own fitness journey.

The Background: I’m a 40 year old male road train operator, 12hr shift work. I have been pretty dedicated to hitting the gym consistently over the last 5 years, but never really dialled in the diet. Last year I decided to get it together, got my test checked( it was 300) and decided to jump on the gear. I jumped straight into a 1000 calorie deficit at 94kg and only 5’6” so I was way too fat trying to blast 400mg of test a week! I did however have the support of a knowledgeable group who got me to get my shit together and lean down before doing it again. I am currently sitting at 78kg and cruising(since November ‘25) on only about 105mg of test e per week pinned daily to help with my high e2.

Age: 40
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 78.9kg fasted

The Goal: Lean right down to about 70kg and get lean enough to grow in as healthy a way as possible.

Workout split: PPL rest(cardio day), repeat.

Current Supps:
Testosterone Enanthate 15mg pinned daily sub q for steadier levels and better e2 control
5mg ciallis daily

Over the counter:
Fish oil, citrus bergamot, NAC, vitamin d3 and k2, Berberine, zinc, magnesium, creatine, taurine.

Supps to be started in one week:
Tirzepatide starting doses then titrate up
Mots-C 1mg daily
SS-31 500mcg daily
GHK-cu 2mg daily

Calories:
Diet is 90% clean, macros could be better but camp menus dictate what I can get in me more often than I like. Planned calorie intake is going to be 1800-2000 cals per day based off a TDEE of 2900 per day. Hoping to hit my goal weight in under 2 months but the proof will be in the mirror not just the scales!

Thanks for tuning in guys and I’ll be checking in again next week when I get my other peptides in, another kilo or two down.

Hi mate, cardio consists of 20 minutes fasted daily on training days, and about an hour on rest days. I usually like to then eat a small breakfast of either 60g of overnight oats with a scoop of whey and mixed with water and a drizzle of about 15g of raw honey. Lunch usually consists of about 120g of chicken breast with some fat free mayo, spinach, beetroot, onion and carrot in a high protein low carb wrap. A two egg omelette snack with spinach and mushroom in the afternoon. Dinner is usually 250g of trimmed pork loin, chicken breast or trimmed rump steak, this and 100g of steamed broccoli and 100g of steamed cauliflower. After dinner it’s usually a single serve of Greek yogurt and granola with berries and banana and honey. I usually swap breakfast and desert for a bit of variety but it’s pretty much all I eat whilst dialling in the diet. 🙏

@DannyPrimo nice man you work on trains, that is almost every kids dream. not sure if you seen the movie Train dreams it was quite good

You definitely have made some nice changes but I want to see a ripped four-pack or six-pack by the end of this year. That's going to be your number one priority. @DannyPrimo

Ok guys time for an update!

Fasted weight this morning is at 76.8kg, pretty happy with that in one week, but I’m assuming it’s got a lot to do with water weight and glycogen depletion.

Macros over the last week has been a fairly consistent 150-180g of carbs, 40-70g of fats and 180-200g of protein. This all fluctuates slightly depending upon what the site chefs cook up and me trying to steer clear from the processed stuff and just eat whole foods 👌 and I’ll admit it is one of the better mining camps in regards to food quality so I’m pretty lucky there.

Training has been on point with 20 minutes of cardio as soon as I walk in the gym doors then into whatever PPL day I’m on. With 30 minutes of hitting the treadmill, 20 minutes on the rower finished with 10 minutes on the stairmaster for my rest days.

Sleep. Sleep has been average. Some days I get 7 hours, some days I get 4. With a 4 hour day generally followed up by what for me is a rejuvenating 7 hour sleep in. The joys of working nights 👌. Anyone who’s done shift work knows exactly how it can be 😭

Flew home to an awesome mito stack baiting for me to reconstitute courtesy of @TheAsylum

Update continued because I’m computer illiterate 🤣

Last night I reconstituted everything, had a light dinner and injected my first Tirzepatide pin.
Stack is as follows:
Tirzepatide 2.5mg weekly
Mots-c 1mg daily
SS-31 1mg EOD
And 2mg daily of GHK-cu to hopefully tighten everything up a touch 🙏

Diet will dial in even better while I’m at home for RnR as I can source my own food for a week and training and recovery is always on point with the extra time up my sleeve so I’m expecting some good results this week before fly out day next Wednesday 🤞

Thanks everyone for tuning in and again thank you to @TheAsylum
Love the support I’ve been getting from everyone and I wish I’d joined this community years ago 🙏

Love the support I’ve been getting from everyone and I wish I’d joined this community years ago 🙏
lets get some pics of your vials you reconstituted :D @DannyPrimo can you start some food and training posting please

Thanks for tuning in guys and I’ll be checking in again next week when I get my other peptides in, another kilo or two down.View attachment 211879

Today’s leg workout, skipped the Romanian dead lifts, the hip abductions and the standing calf raises(machine broken). Energy was pretty good, not as good as yesterday’s pull day but still 👌, sweat was next level not sure what compound to attribute to this but it’s way more than I usually sweat. Attached is a quick screen grab of my routine 👌 oh also didn’t go for the PB on the back squat as the knees were creaking a touch and I just wasn’t feeling it.

Post leg day breakky consisting of Greek yogurt, granola, banana and honey 👌 and my prebreaky supps, yes I need a pepbox 🤣. Didn’t go too hard today as I’ve a wedding to attend and didn’t want to cramp up as I missed the pre workout feed.

Everyone’s probably gonna say that’s too much volume, but my knees are cooked and so is my right hip so volume over high weight is my preferred routine 👌
volume over high weight is much better :D @DannyPrimo as long as you enjoy it
nice breakfast too add a scoop of protein to it too!

Hope the knee is on the mend or are you able to do anything for it ?

Nice workout mate. Some good weight on squats there considering you're doing them at the end!

Nice start to your log bro and welcome to the EVO family!

I like how hard you pushed your leg extensions.

Can you give us one full day of eating and break down total carbs/protein/fats. Start with one day and we'll go from there.

Mots-C 1mg daily
Can you post pics of all these for us too as well as your gear and more food? I know I'm being demanding sorry :p
How long have you been running the 1mg MOTS-c? We have a huge megathread on MOTS-c here ➡️ MOTS-c Peptide: Overview, Dosing and Reviews

Aye my bro, nice work on the start of your log and welcome to the Evo family.
Looking forward to some more details and updates. Like some of the good brothers have said above, lets get some pep pics and info together in your layout.
100% here for anyone on the path of self improvement. Fkn Love that for you my man. Following along.

Hi All!!!

Bit of a bare bones update this week as I sit in the airport waiting to fly to work. Weight is sitting at 75kgs on the dot fasted this morning, up from a 74.4kg I saw a couple days ago as family commitments had me out for a steak dinner last night with some carbs added in 🤪. Energy has been pretty good on the stack I’m running so far. Appetite suppression not quite were I want it to be at the starting dose of 2.5mg per week on the tirz, but I’m pretty happy as I’ve had no sides other than a minute amount of nausea the day after pinning. Still not sure whether or not I want to up the dose already or see what another 2.5mg does when I dose again tomorrow night. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Macros have been fairly consistent except for last nights outing. 180g of carbs, 50g of fats and 200g of protein on the daily.
Challenges this week will include flying in to what isn’t going to be my home base so I might have 2 perhaps 3 days of no access to a gym, before driving further out to site on Saturday. Although if there is one near my hotel I’ll be paying for a couple day passes or I’ll go stir crazy 🤣 I’ll endeavour to provide updates this week when I can but it will be hectic so apologies for that. In the meantime, thank you for tuning in and can’t wait to keep ya’ll posted about any developments 🙏

Hi All!!!

Ok bit of an early update. 3 days in to my new job and site and I’ve already clocked just over 40 hours, 15 of them yesterday. Needless to say yesterday was a rest day by necessity. The camp kitchen is super small but the chef cooks me up about 300g of chicken breast nightly which is a big help in dialling in my macros. I eat 200 of that and save 100 for lunches the next day. Carbs are consumed either with bread in a sandwhich or if I just have meat and veg for lunch then at night I’ll have some potatoes or rice, depending on what’s on offer. The rest of my protein is unfortunately supplemented by powder but there’s really nothing I can do about that when I start at 4am and finish at 5-7pm every day in the middle of the Aussie outback 🤷‍♂️. Regardless I’m hitting goals and they’ve got fresh fruit daily and the veg they cook at night for nutrients.

The Gym…..
It’s atrocious. It’s about a 7 minute power walk off site to the tiny town centre and I’ve a key for the community gym. It’s got two treadmills, one is broken, a flimsy squat rack, a leg press that gives me anxiety when I stack over a hundred kg’s on it and the dumbbells from 15-20kgs are just missing 🤣. I can get lat pull downs done on a fairly rickety all purpose machine which doubles as my tricep extension device. There’s a nice chest press machine and a pretty good back row machine. It’s got everything I need, but not everything I want and while I can adjust, I’m not happy about it.

I’m feeling pretty good energy wise in the truck driving all day(approximately 840km’s) so my stack is doing its job but while calories are down to 1800-2000 per day my intensity at the end of the day isn’t where I want it to be in the gym. I’m happy to attribute this to the long hours of focus required for driving a quad for 12+ hours and my having to figure out how to do my usual routine with minimal equipment. Anyway, due to this I’ve bumped my test from 105mg per week to 140mg per week to try and stave off some potential atrophy during such a deficit. Another week and a half though and I’ll be home and getting my hands on some slu that landed the day after I left 🤣 so I know that will have my energy up even further.

Appetite suppression is starting to become slightly more noticeable in week two of the baseline Tirz dose and I’m finding I have to remind myself to eat routinely to keep the nutrient flow spread out over the whole day. Though I am pretty hungry by dinner time.

So, fingers crossed it gets a bit easier to smash out a workout without scratching my head on what to do next, but I can’t see myself staying with this outfit too long as my priorities aren’t spending every waking moment driving, it’s getting fit and healthy for my family.

Pics of the only adjustable bench and the 12.5kg dumbbells I tried to make work for arm day below. Though I did really slow down my form to an absolute crawl to get a burn and pump going in the biceps, I had to do a lot of volume to get there. I usually run the 17.5’s and the 22.5’s are just way too heavy for me.

Thanks for tuning in everyone and I’ll update again in a few days!

Hi All!!!!

Another update. Works hectic still, 13-15hrs per day, think they might’ve been telling fibs when they told me 12-12.5hr days. Workouts are getting better as I substitute my usual routines with what I’ve got. Energy is pretty good all things considered: shift work, calorie deficit, 5-6hrs sleep per day and the tirz. Speaking of, never have I found it so easy to just not think about food, the last day before pinning sees my appetite spike a touch but I just ignore it and eat what I’ve got planned and pin. No idea what I’m weighing as I’ve no scales but I’ve got some minor improvements in some abdominal definition coming through
IMG_2993.webp

So big shoutout to @TheAsylum for that 🙏 and the mots-c and ss31, kinda feel like they’re the only things keeping me pepped up(pun intended 🤣) while getting run ragged at this new gig. Definitely considering leaving for a job with less hours.

Macros have been pretty good as the chefs at my camp have been great in cooking me up a heap of grilled chicken daily to cover my protein goes so reliance on powder is down a heap 👌.

So even though I’ve had a few speed bumps this last fortnight I feel I’m moving in the right direction 💪

Scale update incoming when I get home on Thursday and we’ll see how far the needle has moved then 🤞

Thanks everyone, feeling really good 🙏

Hi All!!!

Updated fasted scales this morning read 73.2kg, down from 75kg two weeks ago so pretty stoked with that 🔥💯

This morning I’ve added 20mg of slupp-332 split into 2 10mg doses so hopefully going to see some extra calories burned and some workout intensity up 🤞
Appetite suppression still good though it does significantly reduce by the end of week so looking to up mondays dose to the next phase at 5mg weekly.
Just currently doing a pre employment medical as I’ll be switching from this new time poor job to another one. After that it’s off to the gym to assess whether or not my strength has dropped at all. Physique photo update later on today too hopefully

Thanks again everyone 🙏

how do you feel on it? :D

how do you feel on it? :D
Intensity is definitely up after a couple days of running it. Still don’t feel as powerful as when I’m not in a deficit, but definitely adding to the overall stack for sure. I’d like to give it a couple more days to be sure but I’d easily say it’s a 50% increase in energy levels

Hi All!!!!

Back to work Tuesday, drove to site instead of flying in the vomit inducing 10 seater. A killer back and bicep sesh before heading off then a six hour drive later and I was ready for work the next day. First day back saw me up at 0230 for a rest day 30 minute cardio sesh of 3.5km’s, my best yet. Think the slu is dialling up my cardio output big time.

Back in the gym now, 0250 in the morning after yesterday’s 14.5hr shift, sitting on 5 hours sleep if I’m lucky but fuck it, I need to keep up my TDEE. I’m quitting this job though lol.

Mito stack is mint as 👌
Tirz appetite suppression is down though so I’m gonna have a mid week pin of it tonight before bed and titrate up to about 7mg per week all up once Monday rolls back around again. Otherwise I’m really happy with it 💯

Life’s a touch hectic at the moment so will update as I can, thanks all 🙏

Hi All, time for an update.

Down ten percent on all my lifts across the board, libido and mood in the floor and intensity in the gym down. So I’ve pulled the pin on the cut.

Non fasted scales on Friday had me at 72.1kgs after a few days of 2500 calories, up from 1800 per day. Puts me at a total loss of 22kgs exactly from my starting weight of 94.1kgs on the 18th of March 2025. So pretty stoked but never quite got those bottom abs…yet.

So the plan now is a slow reset, and a bit of growth for 3-6 months. Depending on when I lose current visible ab definition, at which point I’ll pull the pin and cut again. But Its definitely something I need as over the last week I’ve felt better and better.

Macros are sitting at 200g protein, 250-300g of carbs and 50-100g of fats. Sits me at 2600 calories per day, not quite my expected TDEE of 2900, but I’m going to be keeping an eye on the scales as I don’t want to rebound.

To help I’ll still be running tirzepatide but at a super mild dose of 1mg, twice weekly.

Current stack as it stands today

Testosterone 175mg per week pinned daily
Mots-C 1mg daily
Ss-31 1mg EOD
Ghk-cu 2mg daily
Slupp-332 40mg daily
Tirzepatide 1mg twice weekly

All other over the counter supplements and off brand ancillaries remain the same.

Mood and libido already improved, just waiting on baseline lifts to reach normal levels and then beyond but gym performance is great at the moment with the increase in cals.

Thanks for tuning in 🙏

Hi All!

Been 6 days since my last post and wanted to provide an update on my current situation. The new job is good, still doing onboarding and such but it’s cruisey and only 12 hour days, no overtime 😎👌

The gym is brand new and fantastic, got just about everything and one of the best mine site gyms I’ve ever used.

Cool to order for dinner every night means either freshly cooked steak or chicken breast each night with baked potatoes or rice and vegetables 🔥

Been eating about 2600 cals a day and gym intensity is up a lot, along with mood and libido 👌 so these extra cap are definitely helping. According to these scales my weight is still going down though, which is good if my intensity is improving, but might have to up the cals again by about 10% in another week or two if it starts to lag.

Cardio is unreal, my rest day 1 hour session saw me make 8.25kms in 60 minutes, pic for proof below 🤘👇

Overall feeling really good, super optimistic about the days ahead and what they’ve got in store for me. Thanks legends 🙏💯
