Have a 17.5in arm and a 16.5in arm

Like most people, I also have one arm that's smaller than the other.

In order to balance both arms, I add a couple extra reps to each of my left arm exercises. Sometimes, I even add an extra set. I've been doing this off and on for about 10 years.

Well, my left arm is still 1/2" smaller. So my efforts haven't paid off. Now I wonder if the the left arm is smaller due to a weaker mind/muscle connection or because I've been overtraining it.

Oh well...who cares....just grow the motherf#ckers!

That's what I'm going to do lol. It's hard to make gains with low test though! Oh well no excuses
 
An inch difference in arms? I never heard of that much of a difference. Stop doing work with the bigger one for while, so the smaller one can catch up..
 
It's simply becauSe the parts used most from birth on through life get more blood and more nervous system stimulation and therefore more strength, size etc. I've been trying to even out for 6 years and still not there but I've made progress
 
I had this issue, about an inch as well when I first started, it's improved by me training to the weakest side. I found my dominant side had stronger, better quality reps than the non dominant so I found the weight I could replicate the same control on my problem side and trained both arms at that weight.
