Is it possible to develop gynecomastia despite being on tamoxifene/raloxifene ?

just wanted to know if it was possible to develop lump despite the fact of being on proper dosage of raloxifene / tamoxifene ?
I know that SERM block the effet of E2 on the breast tissue .

Yes, you can see this happen with more estrogen in the blood.

i thought that tamox/ralox would block the effect on the E2 on the breast tissue ? despite having high level of E2

yes even guys on just a TRT dose of test AND an AI have gotten gyno issues pop up. it is not common, but it does happen as everyone is different

i tell those guys (and it isn't something they always want to accept) that they need to completely avoid all aromatizing compounds.

In a word - yes. What might be proper for me may not be proper for you

there are millions of people who take drugs everyday in the US who still have problems anyway. drugs are not magic, and they don't always work the way you want or work well. most people will NOT get gyno if they use an AI properly, but i'm saying SOME still do anyway. everyone is different

You are using a SERM when you should of been using an AI.

A SERM binds to the estrogen receptor and prevents some of the estrogen molecules from binding. It doesn't actually solve the route of the problem. An AI actually prevents the testosterone from aromatizing into estrogen

Estrogen aromatizing and binding is an ongoing thing. Just like the SERM and AI are an ongoing thing. It is not a linear equation. On top of that there is always the possibility that there is existing gyno.
