Hello I am very new here and I love and miss the old school forums so this is very nostalgic!
47 and in good shape. 5'5.5 and 141lbs. I did my last competition at 40, using only ostarine and etc fat burners to get the leanest I had ever been in my life. Shortly after I feel unbelievably ill from mold in my home. It had been there for some time but getting close to single digit bf pushed me over the edge. After years of struggling and auto immune conditions I am finally back to heavy lifting and have lost 17 lbs since Jan 02 of this year.
I am currently on 7mg test cyp injx, Bi Est transdermally, and 200mg progesterone every day. In addition 10mg DHEA and 100mg pregnenalone.
I have been medicated for thyroid since 2002 and currently take 125mcg levo and 25mcg Lio
Peptides:
0.5-1mg reta weekly depending of if I get too much appetite control
0.5mg MotsC ED
0.5mg BPC-157
I was taking GLOW and didn't feel the best on it so I stopped, I would like to try GHKCu by itself, but I am a little worried my zinc may be low and living in Canada I am not sure the best or easiest way to test this.
I have IPA and Tesa on the back burner as I would really like to move to a muscle building phase soon. I set a goal to hit 140lbs by the end of July before I moved in this direction, and I was 141.5 this morning. I am worried about the water retention and joint pain from Tesa and this was one of the reasons I had to start the E cream was for horrible joint pain making training especially difficult.
All my lifts have gone up dramatically, but as I lose bodyfat I am realizing how much muscle mass I have lost in the last 7 years.
I track my food diligently and have for over a decade, I always hit my protein goals, and I am hovering now around 1800 calories. Pre perimenopause (2024) I was at 2500 cals and maintaining 144 lbs sadly - then shit hit the fan out of nowhere.
Labs are all in range except both free and total T - both low - which is not surprising as my SHBG has climbed to 148.
Which brings me to my question about Ostarine - I loved the effects I had 7 years ago, but I was on zero other hormones or peptides at the time
I have found research on ostarin lowering SHBG but I cannot find any data on women using it that are also supplementing with T. I understand my SHBG shot up from around 95 to 148 due to the introduction of the E cream, but what I am wondering is there any sense to taking it if on exogenous androgens, and if intentionally lowering it using a SARM will help with bringing up my free and total T. I was having some visualization even with such low T levels which my NP thinks is the DHEA and wanted me to drop to 5mg - which I cannot do as they are 10mg capsules I purchase in the states so I am dropping it out for now.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would also like to start a log but unsure how.
Thank you,
CC
