Hey guys I have heard magnesium is Magnesium regulates diverse biochemical reactions in the body, including protein synthesis in the muscles and make you gain mass, is that true? has anyone here taken it for that purpose and how much to take, other info says taking too much could be dangerous.

Magnesium is a water soluble mineral so any excess magnesium will just be excreted in the urine. Taking excessive amounts of magnesium would be a waste of money but it won't hurt you or anything like that.

Check out this article on magnesium -> https://www.evolutionary.org/forums...ined-43656.html?highlight=magnesium+explained

Magnesium is a very important mineral in the body that is involved in muscle contractions and testosterone production.

Here's a tip when looking for a magnesium supplement. Look for a magnesium amino acid chelate. A lot of supplement companies will use a magnesium oxide in their supplements because it is much cheaper. Magnesium oxide only has a 2-4% absorption rate.

if you live in a developed country glaring nutrition deficiencies are unusual. we do have some work to do though to get in certain things like anti-oxidants and stuff like beta glucan. however countries in central Africa people are lucky to make it to 50 they are so malnourished.

even living in a developed country as an athlete though we really need to make sure we get our minerals and vitamins. thats why n2bm sells a multi that is very solid

Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who are Magnesium Deficient in the U.S.

So adding a Chelated Magnesium Supplement is a great idea.

As it's responsible for around 300 + bodily functions.................................... JP
P.S.
If you have occasional Constipation ~ 800 Mg of Magnesium Oxide will do the trick before bed with a big glass of water.
Relief with No Cramping like OTC meds for Constipation.

I use both forms !

Magnesium is very important. The soil now compared to even 50 years ago has changed a lot. There are no longer the amounts of nutrients including magnesium as abundant as they were. In theory you would have to eat a lot more food now just to get enough in.

I recommend taking a multivitamin that contains magnesium. I recommend and use Ruthless 3D by n2bm.com
