What’s up guys!
I’ll be starting my last off season cycle hopefully this Monday coming up. This will be my last push before I start contest prep so I need to dial in and make sure I leave no stones unturned. I don’t want to go into prep wishing I would’ve done more. This is where the work is done so the importance is paramount. I’m still waiting on the gear I’m hoping I’ll have it all by then. I’m using Euro Pharmacies and I ordered from
https://puritysourcelabs.ru. This will be my first time using Euro Pharmacies and PSL so I’ll keep you guys updated with my opinion on their gear. I’m using their Test, Masteron, and NPP. GH is from a trusted source I’ve used for a while, but that may change. I’m hearing good things about the GH from PSL so I may switch over at certain point I’ll let you know if I do. The humalog is from the pharmacy.
Starting weight: 270lbs
Starting Dose: 500 Test E, 400 Mast E, 200 NPP, 5 iu of GH daily.
Starting diet: 300 g protein, 350 g carbs, 100 g fats
Food source: Chicken, beef, jasmine rice, oats, fruits (bananas and dates), and greens
Humalog I won’t add in right away. Last cycle I started it when I started my cycle and I ballooned up to 315 in 4 weeks. I also upped the food too fast which is why I’ll slowly increase the food as I go this cycle. I don’t want to gain weight too fast and then have to cut back because I put on too much fat. The same idea is applied to the gear. I’ll slowly titrate the doses until I reach the desired dose on each compound. I don’t have a specific goal in mind I go by feel and look. Last cycle I experimented and went higher than ever with doses and deeply regretted it. I’m prone to mental side effects and my mental health went to shit. My physical health also took a hit. I had to start sleeping with a cpap and went on blood pressure medication (telmisartan, 40mg daily) for the first time ever. 320lbs does not feel good especially the first time you get there. The good news is my bloodwork is perfect now, and I’ve had my heart checked and it’s in perfect health as well. I didn’t rush things this cruise I let all my ranges come back to normal and gave myself the much needed mental break until I felt I was in a good enough spot to push again. This is the perfect starting point.
Workout split:
Monday- Quads and calves
Tuesday- Shoulders and forearms
Wednesday- Biceps and back
Thursday- Chest, triceps, and abs
Friday- Hamstring and lower back
Saturday- Biceps and back
Sunday- Rest (and another rest day if needed)
And repeat….
My training style has changed throughout the years. I use to be a high volume guy, but as I’ve gotten bigger I’ve found I don’t react to high volume as well as I use to. I’ve amped up the intensity and weight, but I try my hardest to not sacrifice form and contraction. I lift as heavy as possible while still being able to maintain the connection with the muscle and feel the contraction. Some body parts that may be in the 6-8 rep range other body parts that may be in 10-12. I’ve been doing this a long time I’m 31 now, and I started lifting weights when I was 12. I like to think I’ve learned my body well so I operate off of instinct and anecdotal evidence with how my body reacts in most aspects of bodybuilding. On the same note I’m big on data when it comes to health. I get my bloodwork done consistently and I’ve had the important organs checked thoroughly. Mental and physical health isn’t talked about enough in bodybuilding. It’s usually discussed at surface level because it’s boring for people to listen to, but you have to stay healthy. Your health is the most important thing and lots of people are willing to risk it until the problems arise and then they wish they had taken it more seriously. Get your bloodwork, get your heart checked, and take your mental health seriously. Don’t take things that make you feel like shit. The benefits you get from a harsh compound will be far outweighed by a healthy mind in the end. Being happy will do more for your gains than sacrificing and feeling like shit and doing nothing about it. Anyways I’ve said enough lol! Wish me luck!
