Nauseous from protein

Is it possible to be nauseous from too much protein? I'm drinking 200grams of liquid protein per day and feeling sick sometimes from the chocolate flavor.

It's most likely the artificial flavours and sweeteners in the product that are making you feel sick. I use and recommend isolation from n2bm.com. It is naturally flavoured and sweetened with stevia. http://needtobuildmuscle.com/store/Proteins/Isolation-p67.html

That being said, 200g of protein supplements per day is WAY too much. Stick with 1-2 shakes per day maximum. Whole food is always superior. Think about it logically. What do you think your body will absorb better. Some powder that has been sitting on the shelf for years that you reconstitute with water or a fresh piece of chicken, steak, fish etc.

Most probably it has to do with all the added ingredients, such as flavorings and sweetners. Also, it may contain lactose, and your stomach could be sensitive for it. Therefore, you may as well try to make a switch towards a different brand, and try Whey Isolate, since it does not have the lactose in it. Isolation is one awesome product. Finally, you are taking quite a lot of protein, so you should consider lowering the intake.

SMH. yes its normal .. 200g of protein per day drinking? that is a ton of dairy, sugar, and other shit you are putting in your system. throw your tub away and start eating real food .. your body hates what you are putting in it

Is this a Protein Concentrate or Isolate.
As that much Concentrate with the Lactose in it is sure to make you Nauseous.
And that's not even taking into Consideration all the Artificial Flavorings and Sweeteners.............................. JP
P.S.
Look for a 100% Protein Isolate with Stevia Only as the Sweetener.

I know how easy it is to grab a shake and go. I do it on occasion. But you shouldn't be "drinking" your food all day everyday. Protein in powder form is meant to "supplement" what you can't get in the form of real food. Try limiting shakes to 1 or 2 per day. Eat things like: turkey, chicken, beef, venison, buffalo, fish for protein instead

What aagirl said! I honestly didnt start growing until i started eating real food. In fact i dont even drink protein anymore.

sent from a pineapple under the sea

that's so much from just powder alone man ! I don't ever go over 50g, 100 is an rarity. Swap in some whole foods and you'll be much better off
