Hey guys!

So I'm pretty new here. I'm 23 years of age, a female, and I've been working out for a while now. However, I've always stuck to the most natural form of weight loss which is just exercise. I went from 190lbs (my heaviest) to now 145lbs. I am 5'7" tall. I'm very happy with all the weight I lost, however I feel like it's time for me to get a little ripped.. I mean not super ripped, but I want to lessen my body fat. What kind of routines do you guys normally do that blasts fat? I've tried HIIT, it works yes, but I'm looking for other things to try - I kind of really like to confuse my body by doing different type of work outs as I feel like it's when my body tends to burn more fat. So yeah. Please feel free to share with me your routines or any tips you might have for me.

Many thanks!!

sister...welcome to evo family...sprint intervals are a good way to lose bodyfat...especially with low carbs

Here is a good article for you to read on the differences between HIIT and steady state cardio: http://www.evolutionary.org/hiit-sprints-vs-liss-cardio

HIIT cardio is great for fat loss but by far the #1 most important thing is your diet. Think about this. Look around your typical gym. Everyone is doing pretty much the same exercises. Everyone is training at least remotely hard. Why do some people look good but the majority don't? It's what they are doing outside of the gym. Their diet.

Here is a great article for you to read where I explain how to create a carb cycling diet for fat loss. It contains a full sample meal plan -> http://www.evolutionary.org/forums/supplements/carb-cycling-exposed-trevor-44776.html

wow that is quite a remarkable feat losing that much weight

good job

i bet you feel so much better

now your goals can get more specific and you can focus on tightening things up. as you have lost weight your calorie maintenance has also dropped. so make sure you are eating in moderation still and doing daily exercise. good things will happen

there are 2 very safe things i recommend for you to take things to the next level.. GW from sarms1 and n2slin from n2bm. if you use both of those daily you will get some great results

Hello, thank you so much for your reply. I do feel a lot better compared to when I was still so fat. It was all hardwork but definitely worth it.

I'm going to have to look those up as I've never really taken anything before. Thanks again!

Welcome to the forum!

Personally I really like to include both HIIT and steady state cardio. HIIT will really attack the fat and steady state for me burns calories but also clears the mind and reduces stress. If you are already consistently doing your cardio then I would look at the food to take it to the next level. I think you will really benefit from carb cycling. Make sure to read Muskate's article he linked above.

Welcome to the EVO community! I am sure that you will find there a good deal of information and support! As for your question in matter, you might as well consider making changes to your diet - this might be very helpful as well. Have you heard of carb cycling? You can find more information about this form of dieting here - http://www.evolutionary.org/cycling-carbohydrates Personally, I really like this diet because it is very effective, very easy to follow, and it is not restrictive, so you basically still get all the nutrients your body needs in order to stay healthy.

It's 80% diet, you can do all the fancy cardio routines in the world but you can't outwork an incorrect diet. Track your macros, lower your carbs, eat clean foods, add cardio as needed.

What I like to do, is have a strict diet and constant cardio. Usually mid pace, from 30min to 60min. Something like biking or incline walking.
