Approved Log Post Hair Transplant and Hair Safe Cycle Log

What’s up everyone, I just want to start a log to document my post hair transplant journey and also open a discussion on using GEAR while being as hair-safe as possible. I know this topic comes up, especially for guys who still want to run cycles without nuking their hairline!!! 🤯

I’m 45 years old. I always considered myself someone with a full head of hair. No bald spots or heavy back hair-line. Even before even considered TRT or GEAR, I started noticing when my hair was dry, everything looked ok. But when my hair got wet, I noticed thinning, especially under direct light. I could actually see my scalp and skull in areas I had never noticed before. That really stood out to me 2 summers ago and it was the first time I thought, ok maybe its time to do something about it.

I figured... I’d rather add hair now while I still have plenty, instead of waiting until it’s obvious that I’m losing it.

During this last December, I noticed a good known hair clinic in MEX was running a Xmas Promo! Timing lined up, I did my research and I decided to go for it! YOLO 😂

I’m now 6 weeks post hair transplant and recovery has been good so far!

Right now I’m keeping things very "conservative" haha
  • TRT: 150 mg/week
  • HGH 3IU x day
  • Retatrutide 30 units
  • TB-500
  • BPC-157
  • GHK-Cu
No blasting (eventhough I want to) heavy compounds. Just recovery and letting the hair grafts settle an recop.

This is where I’d love feedback from the community!!!

From everything I’ve been reading / researching, it seems that DHT derived compounds are the most aggressive when it comes to hair loss, MAST, RPIMO, ANAV, PROV etc. I’ve also seen a lot of debate about Winstrol and Mast being especially brutal on the hair.. even more so than TEST alone. Curious to hear real-world experiences on that!

On the flip side, I read that these coumpounds are more hair friendly.
  • Deca / NPP
  • Di-BOL
  • TEST
  • TREN
  • HGH
The logic being that they’re not DHT derivatives and may be easier on hair! Any thoughts @LevButlerov @stevesmi

My goal moving forward is simple: Stay enhanced, but smart and protect my investment (hair) 💸💸💸

I’m starting this log to:
  • Track my post-transplant progress and share what I learn about hair-safe protocols!
  • Compare notes with others who are balancing gear + hair preservation
If anyone wants details on the transplant process itself, clinic, recovery, shedding phase, timelines, I am more than happy to share. Also open to answering any questions!!

Appreciate any input, especially from guys who’ve successfully run cycles without sacrificing their hair!!

Are you using Finasteride oral or topical? What about minoxidil? The transplanted hair is DHT resistant but not the original hair that could continue to recede.

Then hair thing for me is odd. Only cos I don't care about mine the way some do. It doesn't define me. Hence just shaving it. It literally annoy's me and itches when it grows out

Now of course I see these sorts of posts. It worries me how some will spend a LOT of money (often to those taking it off you and not really caring about the outcome).

Simple observation and time of life shows you that we ALL (both sexes) fuck about with our hair when younger. The crap we add to it, the way we heat it and style it and do that for YEARS. BOTH sexes have what we like to call 'male pattern baldness'. If you're gonna have hair issues in the future just look at mum, dad, aunties and uncles. You'll see where your future lies.

Then we're living longer and, cos we train etc, we WILL (I'd hope) look better longer. There are very few properly hairy old men.

There is, as is suggested here, a risk of using steroids which, when younger, make hair grow and thicken but at some point will do the reverse.

All things being equal I'm old fighting to maintain strength and size vs, like King Canute fighting the tide, trying to fight hair loss.

My first month was natural healing just my normal
Supplements

- Multi Vit
- Fish Oil
- Vitamin D
- Food Enzymes

On week 5, I was cleared by my Doctor to begin 5% Minoxidil foam and 1mg oral Finasteride daily.

I totally agree with most of what you’re saying. Our genetics, age and lifestyle eventually will win, no argument there!

That said, I think context and where you are in life matters too!

A lot of guys who truly don’t care about hair anymore are already married, have kids, and are already settled. I’m not there yet! No kids, not married, and I’m actively dating! For me, maintaining hair is a preference and a strategic choice! In my opinion, hair objectively makes you look younger, and first impressions still counts.

Genetically I’m not in a terrible spot. My dad had a full head of hair most of his life, though he did thin a bit up top later on. My mom has a very full head of hair! So I’m looking good on genetics!

I respect the shave-it all mindset, and I may end up there one day. But for now, I’d rather maintain what I have while I still can. I have to say I’m in a different stages of life with different priorities that most people at my age!

Mostly true. I've been lucky in that I've had action with and without but, as you say, at different stages of life.

What stack do you recommend for a hair safe cycle? TEST / Tren? or Test / DECA?

Would love to hear your recommendation!

Have to agree this will a fascinating log @CyberPimp55 . Also agree with @Mobster in that I am not that concerned about mine either. Doesn't mean I won't follow along though brother.

Very interesting log and nice to have a new hair log on here bro!

it seems that DHT derived compounds are the most aggressive when it comes to hair loss
Definitely yes. You'd be best to stick with just Testosterone and not use any derivatives of Test nor other 19-Nors as well.
Mast was the worst culprit for me.

So I’m looking good on genetics!
Our grandparents also play a role in hair genetics as well. Take a look at both your grandfathers hair loss as well.

I wouldn’t take Tren if you concerned about hair loss

tren grabs onto the androgen receptors in your hair follicles really hard, and that’s what makes the follicles shrink faster over time, which leads to thinning and hair loss.

Nice idea for a log and will be interesting to see how you go. I'm with @Mobster, I'm 48 and just don't care. Thinning on top so now just shave it to a number 1. But can see why some people do.

@CyberPimp55 deca is going to be your best bet when it comes to hair-friendly steroids because it is a testosterone derivative and it's also not a DHT derivative.

Given I've never worried about my hair and was already cropping it age 37 when I went on...

play it by ear with short esters @CyberPimp55 if you notice hair shedding then pivot. you can tell if you are combing your hair and see hair on the brush

Would love to hear your recommendation!
@CyberPimp55 stay away from the DHT steroids and definitely stay away from tren as well. Go with the testosterone derivative, more mild steroids. Deca is a good option.

People obsess over their hair but at the end of the day it's important to a lot of people. It does help you stay younger. You really need to avoid things like winstrol. I can tell you that for sure. Also tren is really bad for the hair.

YOLO 😂

@CyberPimp55 Congrats on the hair transplant! Hope it holds full!

I wouldn’t take Tren if you concerned about hair loss

tren grabs onto the androgen receptors in your hair follicles really hard, and that’s what makes the follicles shrink faster over time, which leads to thinning and hair loss.
Gotcha! Thank u for the advice!

@CyberPimp55 deca is going to be your best bet when it comes to hair-friendly steroids because it is a testosterone derivative and it's also not a DHT derivative.
YESS.. My research is also pointing me in that direction! Thank you for the feedback.

bros more you obsess over hair more gonna drive yourself crazy. why not just role with it? just juice it up and if you lose hair who cares @CyberPimp55
Haha I know, I know… it comes with the territory.

Honestly, I probably should’ve run all the cycles BEFOREEEE getting the hair transplant. It was painfull AF!!! haah but oh well, u live and learn. 😅

play it by ear with short esters @CyberPimp55 if you notice hair shedding then pivot. you can tell if you are combing your hair and see hair on the brus
Will do! Thank you

Alright guys!! Anyone in the U.S. had this happen? My package arrived opened and resealed by customs. It had Anavar, Dbol, Test E, and Tren inside. Does this mean it was flagged, or is that random? It was addressed to a business name, not mine. Anyone experienced something similar? 😳😳😳
