your buddy is right. pro bodybuilders abuse insulin, hgh, drugs, steroids, and have top 1% genetics and are able to take advantage of all the food they consume. you are not in their boat.
so this obsession by people to 'time protein' or get in 400g a day is absurd. you only need .6g of protein per pound. you don't need any more. when you follow these stupid bodybuilder diets i see parroted you will just end up getting fat and wreck your stomach
