do all roids mess wth your cholestrol levels or does it have a lot to do with a persons diet???i just got my choestrol checked and it came back at 7.1 but 3 months before i got it checked i was not working out nor doing cardio and eating like shit...i am goin to vegas at end of march and want to start a cycle...should i start or shoud i hold off???what gear if any is safe for a person whose choestrol is a little bit high.thx

Diet has a big impact but AAS do influence raised LDL levels. I just started GW501516 as one of the benefits is lowered LDL...

How about working on getting the cholesterol levels down then going on cycle?

Yes injectables and orals can hamper lipids for sure. Obviously higher doses seems where it starts for most. Tren can hammer HDL levels at moderate doses, at least for me.

lifestyle is #1 which includes diet

there is a huge myth that eating things that contain cholesterol causes a rise in cholesterol.. that MAY be true in SOME cases but not in all.. there are plenty of things that have low or no cholesterol that will actually ruin cholesterol

generally if you are lean, eat clean, exercise decently, cycle of steroids correctly, etc. you will not have an issue with it. if you abuse steroids absolutely it will be a problem even if you are in top shape.

The unfortunate truth is that any steroid is going to have some impact on your cholesterol levels. And if you are already predisposed to higher levels steroids are obviously not gonna make the situation any better.

That doesn't mean you can't use steroids an still be able to maintain healthy levels. You just have to be very careful with everything else you do and like Steve said lifestyle plays a huge role on this.
Besides the lifestyle factors whatever drugs you decide to use be modest with the doses. Abuse is the last thing you wanna do.

yes, steroids will have an impact on your cholesterol, and not in a good way... clearly your diet, training and lifestyle have a large impact on this and you always want to have those in check but the fact is that steroids will hinder your levels... some more so than others but its something you absolutely need to be aware of before using them
