Cycle day 6 - no sides noted beyond mild delt soreness from Monday's pin resolving. Second solo injection Monday went smoothly.

Overall keen for the next few weeks to see how I go. Excited for it to start really kicking in. Will post bi weekly photos going forward.

Thanks again to @PrimoFit , He's been an absolute legend on the journey so far.

Your cals are low af my man. On that much gear I think you should up that shit. You’ll still burn fat.
I’ve burned so much more fat once I realized I was starving my muscles at 1800 cal. I’ve dropped 1% BF since upping my calories to 3000 medium days 2 high days of 4k. Kept fat and protein the same just upped my carbs substantially. On gear your body burns carbs like a furnace!!

I was thinking of keeping the calories low for the first two weeks or so just with high protein to continue the aggressive cut and muscle preservation. Do you think I should just up them now?

Well I don’t hate going low for a few weeks but that’s starvation low. Anything under 1800 at your size is way too low and can lead to destroying your metabolic rate. As long as you keep fat less than 70 g a day. Hit your body weight in protein, you can push carbs substantially higher. It’ll help with lifts and fill your muscles up with glycogen.

AGREED WITH @Kingofspades712 - those calories are super low! Get the macro's right and you are still gonna drop fat - especially on the Reta (I had to drop my dose to 1mg to get the food in)
Also if your delt is sore from injection just go the glutes

It’s difficult to explain how Fat loss works on gear. You could run 1500 Cal, deplete all of your glycogen, sure you’ll be down 10 pounds but that’s all water weight and glycogen. So your muscles are soft, stringy and you look squishier. Or you could run 2500 Cal, all of those additional cal being carbs, you’ll look bigger, your skin will be tighter and your lifts will be amazing. All while still burning fat at the same rate sometimes faster.

Just doesn’t make any sense to run your test that high with anavar if you’re in that big of a deficit. You’re wasting a cycle at that point

Appreciate the responses lads @Kingofspades712 and @rizzlekdizzle . I will keep it in mind and adjust from now on.

Training — Chest Day

Gym was very busy so couldn't access benches or incline which was shit but I adapted and made do with available equipment.

Pec fly machine: 75kg x 8
Iso-lateral chest raises: 60kg x 10 (30kg each arm)
Dual pulley cable chest raises: 11kg each side
Cable tricep double grip pulldowns: 28.75kg x 10
Single arm cable tricep extension: 13.75kg each arm then drop set to failure at 6.25kg
Standing multi flight machine: 80kg x 10

Notes: Not the best session at all, got shitty sleep and night shift is currently kicking my ass, lucky it's not for much longer. Also as mentioned the gym overcrowding forced a change of plan. Chest and triceps still got meaningful stimulus through isolation and cable work. Will prioritise compound bench movements next chest session when gym is quieter.

Nutrition — 07 Jul 2026

Meal 1 — Breakfast 2 slices Hermanbrot protein bread, butter, 3 eggs, banana Cals: 560 | P: 44.8g | C: 33.4g | F: 27.6g

Meal 2 — Pre training shake Shred protein shake Cals: 150 | P: 31g | C: 3g | F: 2g

Meal 3 — Dinner 2 slices prawn and squid pizza Cals: 500 | P: 23g | C: 57g | F: 20g

Meal 4 — Night shift YoPRO 700g tub Cals: 400 | P: 67g | C: 28g | F: 1g

Day Total - Cals: ~1,610 | P: ~165.8g | C: ~121.4g | F: ~50.6g

Notes: Will have some tuna and rice to get the calories up to around 2000 for today after comments by @Kingofspades712 and @rizzlekdizzle to up my calorie intake.

Overall made the most of a shitty day, have an awesome pull day ready for tomorrow/today which I'm keen for.
Cheers lads.

2000 is def the sweet spot for an aggressive cut. And make sure to add in one high day where you keep macros the same but aim for 600 carbs.
I achieve this by eating 300 g of carbs consisting of starch carbs (rice, cream of wheat, cream of rice)
The rest I just eat fucking rice krispy treats, licorice, bagels, fig newton bars fucking gummy bears, juice whatever it takes to stay super low fat but get to 600!

Is there a certain day you would have your high carbs? Leg day? Or just any day is fine?

Log Entry — Day 9 of Cycle / 09 Jul 2026

Note:
Rest day yesterday due to sickness.

Cycle update: Pin 3 completed today: 200mg Test E 0.8ml into left delt. Smoothest injection so far, minimal PIP that resolved almost immediately. Getting more comfortable with the process each time. Last night shift tonight, keen to finally see the sun and get back to a normal routine.

Training — Pull B

Chest Supported T-Bar Row: 40kg x 10, 40kg x 8, 40kg x 8 — Working weight: 40kg Neutral MAG Lat Pulldown: 52kg x 10 (warmup), 66kg x 8, 66kg x 8 — Working weight: 66kg Seated Cable Row: 47kg x 10 (warmup), 61kg x 8, 61kg x 8 — Working weight: 61kg Reverse Pec Deck: 61kg x 10, 47kg x 14, 47kg x 10, drop set 40kg x 5 — Working weight: 47kg Incline DB Curl: 12kg x 10, 12kg x 10 — Working weight: 12kg Reverse Curl: 20kg x 10, 25kg x 10 — Working weight: 25kg Face Pull: 17.5kg x 15, 24.5kg x 15 — Working weight: 24.5kg

@rizzlekdizzle @Kingofspades712 any thoughts on this for calories / nutrition? Am I still under fueling myself or is this more in line with what you were talking about?

Those macros look spot on bro great job. Now just gauge it after 1-2 weeks. Your metabolism will always fluctuate I’d recommend adding in 1 high day. 600 g of carbs super low fat like 50 g or less. Place the high day after a low day.

Your low day will be on a rest day. Higher protein less than 40 g of carbs and in a deficit so around 1800 Cal. The morning after your low day your glycogen will be depleted so you can gauge your weight loss better that morning weigh in. Then refeed your muscles. I aim for 300 g of carbs from rice / cream of wheat/ oatmeal then the remainder just simple sugars bro. It’s your time to treat yourself. Fucking sour patch kids, licorice, juice, maybe a good cheat meal go big just keep your fats low. You’ll feel amazing

Strong week across every session. The clearest progress was:

  • Single-arm pulldown: 26.25 × 10
  • Smith incline: 70 × 8 clean
  • Machine chest press: 80 kg for 10/8/7
  • Better chest, shoulder and arm fullness
  • Recovery and training drive noticeably elevated

Main adjustment: keep rear-delt volume slightly higher.

Food wise I’ve been keeping the carbs much higher now and I feel great. I’m less focused on shedding the weight and more into a recomp so I’m eating a bit more now. Example meals are :

Breakfast

  • 60–70 g oats
  • Whey
  • Banana and/or honey

Approximately 500–600 kcal, 35–45 g protein, 70–95 g carbs.

Protein extras

  • Second whey shake
  • Eggs
  • Chobani high-protein yoghurt

Main meals

  • Lean mince, rice and vegetables (been my staple)
  • Olive oil added for calories
  • Chicken or steak-style sandwiches
  • Prawn orzo with creamy tomato sauce
Aiming for 2,300–2,600 kcal every day
190–210 g protein
275–350 g carbs
70–85 g fat

Also will be doing my week 4 bloods this week, will post those when I get results.
Nice, will have my bloods ready this week too. Nice to see another logger for @PrimoFit.

Delts always gave me minor PIP, I try not to hit delts with anything above 75 units on a 1ml. 5/8th is perfect, 29G, good tip is to heat your oil in hot water (personally always do this as its smoother) or switch to 29G 13mm insulin and front load from drawing syringe. (Question: did you use the 5/8th to also draw up? If so my advice is CW pharmacy, ask for 1-1.5" 25G tips, can grab 1ml-5ml barrels. Any contact that needle point makes instantly dulls it, including vials and drawing up from Amps)

Ive moved my oils from Amps to a vial as well, be careful with snapping as Ive cut myself before on a bad snap, helps with dosing and such as you can then use a drawing needle, switch over to 5/8th then do delts.

Your diet is awesome 👌 If your open to coaching, I suggest Team Beast Physique through either @Koba or @Ohdamn, really professional, open to discussion and generally speaking will help you more then you think.

Welcome to your journey :)

About the food totals above do you know what you're landing on for macros each day roughly?

Do you have aromasin on hand? We need that on board ASAP.

Can you post pics of your bloodwork papers/screen shots?

Yep primo has hooked me up with some. Bit conflicted because I’m not feeling any symptoms of high E and I feel great so worried about crashing it for no reason.

We know "how I feel" is a myth though right? Bloodwork doesn't lie, your e2 is sky high and you have female levels of e2 in your body atm. You need to get it in range even if it's high range but 'in range' for a male. Test to e2 ratio and "I feel fine" is a myth when bloodwork is right in front of us.

6.25mg aromasin twice a week won't crash your e2 when it's close to 300 at the moment.
