worried about muscle loss on semaglutide

gonna try out semaglutide, I want to lose some weight. I’m currently 5’10’’ and 175lbs with 12% body fat. I would like to lean out to 8% or less body fat. I’m worried about losing a significant amount of muscle if I were to use semaglutide. Can you give me some advice on ways I can avoid that from happening? Would running a tiny dose of .25mgs a week prevent that?

Start with .25mgs ed to get faster results less sides.

semaglutide won't hurt your gains as much as you think. especially when you use with steroids

if you lose a lot of mass, of course SOME will be muscle. but so what.

use steroids with it if you are so worried. or you could even try sarms too

First time I tried it I started with ⅓mg but would recommend starting with ¼mg because it can cause very painful gassy bloat that just feels like it's stuck, you do fart and burp but it doesn't solve. Luckily not everyone gets to experience this side effect but it's worth trying to prevent

And if you're on cycle and hit your protein goals you don't have to worry about losing muscle

imo Retatrutide is much superior for muscle preservation and fat loss. Consider that over sema, or potentially stacking the two (sema more for appetite suppression if you’re looking for that).

Yes, semaglutide can indirectly influence muscle gains. While it is effective for weight loss by reducing appetite and fat mass, it may also lead to a decrease in lean muscle mass if not managed properly. Therefore, it is crucial for individuals using semaglutide to incorporate strength training and maintain a balanced diet in order to preserve or even build muscle mass while losing weight. Experts on muscle loss recommend continuing to train aggressively and to monitor your macronutrient intake closely, with an emphasis on high-quality protein daily

People losing more muscle mass on Sema are the ones who are just binge watching TV to lose weight and not moving thier ass around. Not people working out, some muscle loss will always be there when cutting especially that low, but thats not sema doing it. Thats calorie deficit.

If your getting your protien in and challenging the muscle you will not lose anything from the semaglutide. Trying to get below 8% is what will cause loss. Are you on gear? Being that lean is really not that sustainable.
