Veteran Log My Bulking Journey to 200lbs

Talk about tasty brisket :D @toddthelineman big protein and looks nice!
how has your training been with the work load? share please.
Bro I don’t even lift. I just work and waterski rn, and try to get some yoga poses sprinkled through out my day. And honestly, I’m wore out. Sometimes 9-10 hours of sleep. Mk 677 still working hard on me. My bicep is still nagging, I got my show director to have me doing mostly right handed or both handed acts to rest my bicep. It’s not getting worse. I was having to be way too cautious just loading plates on a bar. I would be using my hgh as well like we talked about, but I think I’d be falling asleep all day.

Thank you. I feel like I’ve been slacking big time. Very anxious to get back into a routine
I believe you will do great!
Me too man, after 9 months off everything and healing from surgery I’m starting all over again, just started training again about a month now, going natty a few more weeks then getting back on gear, when EVO brothers give the green lite, ill be following you for sure for encouragement, and motivation, we can do it brother 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Hell yeah, man! I’ve been following your log silently for a while. You’ve already done so much natty. Very impressive. We are lucky that our work gives us an advantage. Not everyone is that way. It was always strange to me when someone does the same work, more or less, as me, but they are still overweight or their bodies start falling completely apart. It’s definitely a fine line to walk

@LeNguyen
Found this pic, tallest pole I ever got a pic of anyway. Thing must have been 80 years old. 96’ at the cable height. Free climbed it because that’s all we had back then. I was 155 pounds, all legs. Climbed everyday

I know right, I used to be one of those guys, then covid hit put me outa business, sold my truck went to drive for a company, still ate like crap, got so over weight and unhealthy, 2020 I put a little gym together in my garage and told myself enough is enough and wast tired of looking and feeling like crap, took me over a year to lose the weight, start getting on YouTube looking for anything about weight training, found bodybuilding very intriguing, ran across @stevesmi and Evolutionary.org, started watching all the episodes soaking everything up like a sponge, then realized there was a community here, joined and the rest is history, I love this place, it’s my utopia, I’m not much of a computer guy, I’m a dinosaur when it comes to that, I’m outdoors hands on old fashioned style, don’t even have anything social media, no facebook, twitter or anything like it, never had, internet is so toxic, I had a very violent childhood and teenage years growing up in the states, I tend to avoid social interaction, but this is my social media, the EVO family is for real, no judgement no hate just love , they’ve taught me so much, met so many good people I can say are friends… it’s a rare thing in this world now😂sorry rambling… but yeah I feel so much healthier and stronger physically and mentally, exercise is the medicine of the poor 💪🏻

It was scary. The job was given to someone else, my buddy, who had climbed that pole the year before, and he refused to do it again. So I got an extra $500 to do it 🙂.

Him refusing the second times lets me know that dang thing probably gave him the heeby geebies going up the first time 😂😂😂
Don’t know how you did it bro, braver than me😂💪🏻

I understand you well :D the work is loaded and loaded hard, if you can do it add natural exercises like push ups sit ups and squats no weight with planks to your yoga routine. @toddthelineman
and mk677 nutrobal is going to make you sleep and recover, so you're on the right track.
Start eating more carbs to help with the grind, how much do you think you're doing now?

I’m probably averaging 200g of carbs a day Today I had two cinnamon oat protein pancakes, honey in my yogurt, like 20 grams, and a small bag of haribos. Most days I eat rice and fruit as my main carbs, and protein bars to stop myself from eating candy like a fat kid.

If you can manage, add more high carb energy bars, think granola with some protein bars. try to get food in when you can the natty way. :D @toddthelineman

Another oven brisket success.
2 hours at 250° with a metal pan of water near the heat source.
Wrap in tin foil, set oven cook time for four hours 250°. Then just leave it in there til home from work.
Leaving it in the oven as it cools is the one thing that I did out of necessity that wasn’t on the recipe, and it’s what must have made it almost as tender as a smoker.

I poured the juices back onto it and have been eating it since lunch time (working near home). Five pounds. I’ll finish it
that is a good looking brisket. the one i really love though is prime rib. i have to make that at some point @toddthelineman

I used to make a lot of them. There’s a store that sells mini prime ribs and it used to only be like $6/pound it’s way more now so I haven’t been getting them

you are the champion cook of the day ! this one is good! all for you or did you share with your cats? @toddthelineman

Found an old pic from my first “cycle”. I’m maybe two weeks into a winstrol only cycle here. Probably 175 pounds. Calisthenics and some dumbbells was all I had, but I worked like demon back then. This is more or less what I looked like my whole life, until I herniated the discs in my neck. I looked less strong after a couple years of being semi-crippled. I actually stopped the winstrol a couple weeks after this because my joints hurt like crazy, my poop turned white, and I was shedding hair big time. Didn’t touch any gear again for 10 years

I might know a few chicks that would make you blush hahaha. Eat your ass like a starving dog with a pound of raw hamburger. Women are usually nastier than men, but not every man will find out. My personal preference is for nerdy girls. Geek in the streets, freak in the sheets, but I’m not too picky. Mostly looking for a woman who isn’t negative most of the time. Not any particular type

Maybe I’ll land a trail of donuts leading up to my trailer so I can snare one
bro i'm sure you got plenty to choose from where you at. no shortage in america in 2025.

It’s from Aldi! Already seasoned. I’m working my way up to the big ones. Gotta make sure I know what I’m doing before I make a $100 brisket that’s too tough to eat

bro you get used to smell over time
Really? I was on a job in a warehouse where some plumbers cut into a pressurized sewage extractor pump abs line and that shit was spraying like a fire hose. Dude had to put his hand over it to try and stop it. Stank up a 500,000 sq ft warehouse real quick lol. Didn't seem like something anyone could get used too

You mastering those brisket bro. How long til you finally buy yourself a smoker. The amount of brisket you eat it should be mandatory.

Well. You see. This whole business thing is funny. I make a lot of money. But I don’t have any hahaha
I know the feeling. I pay myself weekly but do dividend draws when the accounts looking good but sometimes it's like where is the money??? Maybe we shoulda gone to business school so we'd know where lol

If I went to business school I’d have wound up in prison hahaha. It’s big club and I ain’t in it. I know where my money is. Some rich guys crackhead son smoked it. They owe me 68k right now. I haven’t paid myself in several weeks. I’ll be ok. Gonna grind it out. I’ll have some major equipment paid off by April. Maybe May haha. It’s been a rough start.

Uhhh that's rough. It sux being a citizen sometimes. The way you want to handle isn't the way you can handle it lol. Much better on the other side that way when it someone doesn't pay they know what's coming. The couple times I've been fucked over I can't tell you the number of plans I've run through in my head on how I can just collect myself. I know where they go to work every single day, doesn't get any easier than that lol.

It’s cool you know? I got screwed by low level managers, who didn’t monetarily benefit from breaking my back. They were just covering their butts from mismanaging the job. The highest level of accounts payable of this 8 billion dollar corporation is aware of the situation, and he helped until he realized the gravity, and then the company got bought out by one of the biggest companies in America. What is actually cool is that I’m 27+ years into a VERY small, niche almost, industry. I can go anywhere in the US and be just a degree or two of separation from anyone who is really building cable on a production scale. And we talk.

bros well in that situation not sure anyone could get used to it lol. i grew up going with grandpa on plumbing jobs and we saw a lot back when i was in Bama. super old construction, not like what we got in cali where everything pretty new and modern

I’m not in a big hurry to do it, I want to stay healthy and avoid injury while adding mostly muscle and gaining strength over fall and winter and I hope to hold onto it through 2026 summer, which will be the biggest challenge.
My mother bought a gym membership for my 18th. I was 72kg. I was natural for 4yrs before being approached about taking steroids, and in that 4yrs I put on 21kg.

If you are no hurry and want to stay healthy, stay natural.

Ha! I gained a lot of muscle while I was becoming a man as well. I’m 46 years old. I e been on trt and occasionally other PEDs for five years. Thanks for your interest. You can browse my other log to see what I’m doing. I resisted suggestions to hop on for… 20 years, btw.

9/1/25 log

Ok guys! I’m starting this log, but slowly. I haven’t touched a weight in two months! My bicep tendinitis is greatly improved. When I last lifted I couldn’t load the bar without irritating it. That wasn’t a problem today, but I can still feel it at times. My waterskiing season is officially over and it will be strictly recreational until it’s way too cold. Work is still chaotic, and that will be a struggle, but the heat of summer is over so that will help a lot.

Awake 4:30am estimate 8 hours of poor sleep

Black coffee

50mg modafinil

150mg test e
50mg primo
30mg deca

Barefooting 2 sets

4 x 2.5g kratom

I ate pretty dirty today, but that’s not the overall plan. It will be a fairly clean bulk in the end.

I have some EQ, but I have three vials of pharmaqo primo. Surely it’s not worthless?

That is gold right now. There's a worldwide shortage ATM. I'd be more concerned if 3 vials is enough for your cycle cuz getting more might be a problem.

We’ll find out! I’ve never really hit high doses, don’t know how high I’ll go.
The really important thing is figuring out your ratio of test to primo to keep your e2 in range. Once you get that figured out you can go as high as you want really.

I was running 1:1 at the end and my e2 was high end normal. Next time I know.

Mmmm then I would run out of primo quickly. I get it now. 300/300 would run me out in 10 weeks. Hmmm

No weights yesterday, but a pretty decent work day with 8800+ steps and I burned up my chest and shoulders pushing 8000’ of cable into a pipe. Probably really 4000 reps of 5-10 pounds of pressure hahaha. Really worked the soreness out of my chest from the previous day’s 90 pushups.

I was sweating and breathing and burning, for sure. Before I got warmed up I was like “oh noooooo” hahaha. That always happens. Do a workout that will make me sore and then get my ass kicked the next day

Missed my workout today and wound up skiing instead. Four passes over the jump and some trick skiing I haven’t done in a couple years, took a hard fall that jacked my jaw pretty good hahaha.

Work consisted of loading and unloading a truck full of heavy stuff.

I’m sure now that I really wasn’t eating as much as I thought I was during my break from logging, but I still am very happy with the body I’ve held onto. I was going to eat again when I got home but I’m barely hungry and my jaw hurts too much to be chewing on another pound of meat.

I’m having to readjust to logging and this may be a little glitchy until I get back into the swing of things

Weight in the morning: 180 pounds.

Supps:
Morning
Black coffee
2 caps HCGenerate
3 caps N2Guard
Probiotics

Afternoon
Black coffee

Evening
1.5 tsp psyllium husk

Hibiscus Tea
2 caps HCGenerate
3 caps N2Guard
MK677
3mg melatonin
Probiotics

4x2.5g kratom

7am
11am
1pm
4:30pm

I am just adding this to my log for my own benefit, and transparency. I have felt some guilt about using it due to my previous habits, but I feel like it’s a net positive in my life right now

Just moving around helps me stop stiffening up

bros dayum. @toddthelineman the craziest thing i did was plumbing had to pick up huge pipe and move it. was stuck under roots and had to ax through the tree roots to get to it. roots were all over pipe like you wouldn't believe

Oh I would believe it! We have to do that sometimes when the cable gets stuck. You can wait until the drill crew comes back to repair the pipe, and they’ll probably lie about the problem, or you can dig it up yourself, keep making money, and maybe, maybe, get paid for the repair. A couple weeks ago we had to dig a tunnel like five feet long under a road. And four feet deep.

To get the compression couplers on for the repairs the hole had to be at least 6-8 long, so it’s like digging a grave. Always so mad when that happens

I’ve done it! But not much anavar. 10mg. I’d do stuff like that with winstrol and the pumps were like cramps. It makes your brain want to keep going but your arms feel like actual stones! At some point, you cannot keep going. You’d have an episode, a passerby might can an ambulance hahahaha
