Female prohormones cycle advice

Hey fam

35 yo female, I did a body recomp building significant muscle and strength back in my early 20s using epistane in maybe 2012. Loved it!

Ive lifted/worked out consistently but onnand off this whole time and have recently gotten back into the swing of working out minimum 3-4 times a week, with simple/clean eating. Just with that, I trimmed down a good amount of the early 30s/Covid weight, put some muscle back on and gotten back to what I consider my baseline of strength (if that makes sense). Feeling good.

I want to switch from traditional lifting to calesthenics/street lifting style training to try something new and I thought back to when I was cycling epi that was the only time ive ever been able to do build the strength to do pull ups and the energy and stamina I had during.

I want to put together a cycle to help push me during that transition. Im seeing its a jungle out there with options or "alternatives".

Not concerned about masculinization as I have a big, masculine build in general and love it so and wont be having any kids. I cant remember if those were considerations with prohoromones with women but wanted to share.

If I can source straight up epi, thats my preference but I've also seen recommendations for 19-Nor for women.

I had good results with prohoromones so want to give them a shot before considering traditional steroids.

Very cool! That'll be really interesting and seems to be getting popular now. Seen heaps of outdoor gyms in Europe for it and that looks like such a cool way to live. Lots of parks where I live in New Zealand have a form of these too.

Have you seen the classic VHS tapes that popularised it?

I live in a beach suburb with a industrial section and there's fitness related stuff hidden away down driveways and alleyways and behind mechanics shops and stuff. There's two main gyms but 5 crossfit outfits (knock off brands and offical ones) but also there's two places that I believe are for training for this type style, they look kinda like small versions of gyms for atcual gymnastics but aren't, they have sophisticated monkey bars and ropes suspended from the ceiling and its all woman training there :)

Congrats for getting back into fitness! I’m not too sure how much help you’ll get with prohormones, they don’t seem to get much attention here. It’s my understanding that they are just a round about way to get the same (but less) effects as traditional steroids, and legality was the only upside while they were actually a bit less healthy.

We have some amaaaazing women in the forum, actually top level bodybuilders and power lifters. Check out @Jigglybuff, @_bubbles, @ifbbpromusclegirl, @RoidRageWife

Epistane is still the best mild choice for women with past use experience, 5 mg ed for 4 weeks is a solid start then we can see. Support it with N2Guard if you can get it. But this is just general talk really, need to know more about you.

We don’t know much about your current stats or training level yet, so start a log with full details, weight, training split, diet, and goals so we can fine tune dosing and support supplements for you. Without a proper training diet log its all guess work and really dangerous to give you prohormones. It will take you 15min to start up a log.

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Yoshi! Welcome back and absolute respect to you for taking back your health fitness and body! I can relate to that. We need a lot more females on here just like you that are serious about their fitness and supplements (and even gear). I'm 49 yrs old and used to scroll the old forums and this one and elitefitness are the only true ones left. In my opinion this one is the best on the internet so I think you chose the right place.

Having said all that it sounds like you're in good enough shape, have enough experience and history that you don't need to 'sneak' around taking the real thing by using prohormones. Each type converts into what you could just take instead as the active ingredient at a low dose for a female. The cons of prohormones as well is they cause a lot of estrogen conversion, more than the active compound itself that you're taking the prohormone to obtain in the first place. The only time I got gyno was because of prohormones when I was younger. Everyone also converts prohormones differently so for example 1-AD prohormone will convert to different levels of DHB in different people, so why not take the exact dose you want of DHB itself. Similarly 4-AD converts into testosterone but do you know by how much for you? Instead you could dose testosterone (or anavar for that matter) in the exact dosing that will work for you.

If you know epi works for you we can start with that once you get your log up and we'll get you all squared away!

Once you get your log up and running we can dial in your entire regime and recommend something safe but effective

I know @LevButlerov posted his log guidance but mine discusses accountability a bit so here's mine. You're like me you joined years ago but only really posted recently so I feel a kinship to you in that I've always been serious about fitness and health but never made the leap onto a forum other than to just troll and read and I don't think I ever posted a question until I joined EVO. I really want you to give this a shot... I did, and it's changed my entire life in so many ways. I take everything more seriously in and out of the gym, I'm nicer to people, and I've learned a SHIT LOAD on here and I thought I knew what I was talking about before being on here and realized I had only skimmed the surface.

If you really put as much as you can into this it will come back 10-fold trust me. I think once your log is up and you hold yourself accountable to a daily or at least weekly update we can get you ready for a 'real' cycle that will, in a healthy manner, get you enhanced and transform your body, self esteem, and overall health and strength.

I would honestly graduate to using Anavar. Prohormones usually have a lot of side effects versus the benefits and plus in a lot of ways they're more expensive and you get less bang for your buck.

Would love to see you get up a Log going. Tell us more about yourself and post up some pictures. @yoshi1723 You should also be worried about masculinization. There's things that can happen like enlarge clitoris and also facial hair and body hair. You don't want that right?

I'm not a big fan of females using steroids and I'm definitely not a big fan of prohormones. Prohormones are really dangerous. They can be much more worse than actual steroids believe it or not.

100% low dose var (look for 'femavar' from some of our sources).
