Hahaha that was some funny shit. I tackled this exact problem when I started eating organs in 2018. I'd get heart, liver, kidney mostly, then dice it up and mix it together, get an ice cube tray and put the mix in the ice bits and fill it with water to fill the gaps, put it in the freezer. Then swallow a couple a day like they were pills. The corporations want us to eat cardboard, don't help them out!!!

Eggs are so fucked up in America they have to refrigerate them at the supermarket. It's not like that here. My eggs still have feathers and half the chickens guts on them. They eat outside which includes insects, this is very important and in factories they are not fed their natural diet so of course it's all fucked.

I drink 20 raw eggs a day over 4 shakes and I feel like I've found God. They are healing me. Did legs today at 70% of working weight with 15-20 reps, was really tough, this cold is dragging, head and sinus full of shit , lots of mouth breathing and nose blowing. I’ll be resting as much as i can over weekend, got work both days unfortunately.
I didn’t feel like the hip thrusts today, seemed to tough with low energy, i substituted for hammy extensions on the upright bench thing, not sure its name, but movement is kinda like a good morning with no loaf on spine, but was really good, pretty much 90% hammy connection with 10% glute work, when recovered i think i will keep this substituted and and some weight to it.

Today’s extra calories will come from a 🥯 with 🥑 and 🧀 with a protein shake.

No we normally don’t, you can find them but you have to specifically go to a jewish bakery, there’s only one i know of around Perth and it’s a long way from me, but when ever i’m in the city ill get a bag.

I didn’t know what a bagel was till we were on our honeymoon staying in manhattan and that’s when i discovered bagels, been hooked since.

I’ll try and get a couple 10 hour sleeps over the weekend if the family and shifts allow.

Good choice backing off to 70% and running higher reps while you fight the cold. The lighter load still gets plenty of blood in the legs without taxing your recovery too much, you really should take time off at least 3-4 days :D and recover.

Then built better fencing and fucking snakes picked them off or something. Then I thought fuck the chickens and gave up.

Fair enough bro! Sliding down 20 raw eggs a day disguised as banana-candy flavored whey powder spread over 4 shakes @ 101g protein per shake for my baseline of 404g protein a day before I eat, which is usually just a little tuna and a little rice around lifting. But I think eggs have magical powers and there's much more to them than protein, I'm flooding my body with nutrients and it's healing me 😀

We take bagels really seriously up here in Canada. A few if the famous New York spots have a second location here in Toronto.

Our first trip to the states was the first time i had a bagel, before that i thought they were just normal bread.

Unfortunately we don’t really have places here that specifically do bagels.

Vegemite would be pretty good i reckon.

At the moment i’m on either Peanut butter or Avocado for the fats.

Yea bagels are definitely not bread. The real ones anyway. The New York style bagels are great. You had the real deal experience.

Yea Vegemite on a bagel would be a hit down there. Up here we put everything on bagels. People wouldn't even think twice about your avo pb combo

I’ve read on one of pigsy threads he does a 45 second to one minute rest so im being pretty strict and trying to go for the 45 seconds on the smaller muscles and 1 minute on larger muscles. If gym not crowded i’ll set my next machine/weights up on rest periods so ready to go and most of all don’t fuck around in the phone hey.

I gotta accept that if i try to lift heavy i’ll injure my self and be out of gym so i guess we gotta work to our strengths so volume and form and tut for me, wish it didn’t take 15 years to figure that out.

I think a lot of peoples weights would drastically drop if they improved their form and focused more on mind muscle connection and time under tension, especially in the stretched position.

Way to work very hard but smart at the same time! This is a killer workout imo

Did pull session yesterday all good, playing tug with dogs in arvo, one pulled rope one way a the other went the other way and everything round my pelvis locked up.
Woke up this morning and could barely put my socks on.
Lower back is catching, quads, hammys,glutes and hips feel tight as fook.
It’s not a tear or disc, just muscles in lower back spasm when i bend.
Took dogs for a walk, slightly looser but definitely not in a good way.
I’m gonna head to gym and use foam roller and stretch, have massage booked for Saturday.

Rough one, that kind of back lock can happen fast when both sides pull uneven. Good call on the walk and foam rolling to keep blood flow going, don’t push any loaded flexion until it relaxes. EVO family support for your recovery :D

Dogs are apbt with some amstaff and am bully, both rescues, both trouble makers but we are getting there with them, lots of training and support but is a bit harder when ya gotta repair other people’s neglect so they are starting from a tough spot, but they are every where with me.

Yea I know what you mean. I got 2 rescues also. My guys were little when I got them so it wasn't as bad tho. Still, they come pre programmed different.

How big are your guys. With some American bully in there I bet they're beefy and that's why your back is so fucked lol

The female has the am bully, she about 37kg and the boy is 35kg.
They definitely wear me out, but gonna be no tug for a while, so i’ll take ‘em to the sand dunes or the river and get them to swim up stream to wear them out.
 
Thanks mate, the stretching today helped and i used the massage gum on my quads and hip flexors, maybe a bit more mobility. Hopefully just a week.

My buddy would get his swinging from a tree branch in his backyard cuz that pit had endless energy. He would swing out there all the time like a little kid. It was hilarious.

Got 12km walk with dogs this morning, only real consequence is tight hips/glutes.
Fingers crossed will be lifting again next week.
Haven’t really been checking in cause i don’t wanna talk gym when i can’t lift, kinda like being an alcoholic sitting in the beer garden, i’m sure most all get it.

Did a 1 set of resistance exercises for all major muscle groups today, very light at 25 reps, no real concerns.
I’m hoping to start back on program on Monday at a lighter weight.
Have dropped my extra meal and just at my base 5 meals while not lifting.
Also ordered some TB500 and BPC157 from @Wolfenstein so hopefully that arrives this week depending on postage to WA.

The biggest thing is that you make sure your recovered properly before you full send it again.. small hurdles can make us a little flat for short time, big injuries and long term recovery is a different monster. You know this more then most 🤜🏼🤛🏼

I’m 99% pain free at moment, hips and lower back still tight so definitely be doing lots of stretching/mobility this weekend, hopefully back in gym monday doing appropriate exercises.
Mid Jan is holiday mate, i’ve been banging on about it for a while but i usually only take time off every 12 months so i make it worth it hey.

Good to hear nate. That'll be a great reset. We are trying to do it twice a year now , probably an overseas one then a cheaper local one. Booked a week down Margs for mid Jan , so we can have a comp between us who can move the scale the most 🤣

Bit of progress, have done modified versions of my push,pull,legs routines on wed,thu,fri obviously substituting exercises that put stress on lower back and working on lower weight higher reps. Went well, didn’t aggravate injury. Will try not repeat twice next week Monday-Saturday.

Pain is still there but definitely improving daily with morning being worse, still difficult to put socks and pants on first thing but it is getting slightly easier each day.

Have been eating my standard 5 meals and i have added the extra meals on the days i trained even though they were light, still maintaining lean build.

Been to chiropractor twice, did help, she believes its inflammation in si joint and muscles around joint locking to protect inflamed joint.

Unfortunately my bpc157 and tb500 didn’t turn up this week, bummer cause it could help with inflammation, hopefully early next week it will be delivered.

Ey bro, yes pain improves daily but can still tell there is an issue.
This weeks training still good enough to get some slight doms through all the major muscles without inflaming joint pain, but did have to be very cautious and sensible and diet is still at correct numbers.

Have lost 1kg on scales but this could be water loss from muscles while not training properly?

Yes, a 1kg drop is likely just less glycogen and water from reduced training. Collagen won’t replace peptides, but you can add 10-20g hydrolyzed collagen ed and still run your BPC/TB.

Oh yeah, been having ibuprofen, probably not really helping at this point now i don’t think, did help first week for sure, so hopefully the peptides turn up tomorrow and speed things up.
how much are you taking ibuprofen? @bullybreed
