Nightly Update

This morning i woke up feeling fucking rubbish. Like an idoit i pinned the cloudy reta last night anyway because im a dumbass. All this morning i felt horrible. I needed 3 coffees before i felt human. I had to force down the food, and i was dog tired all day.

By about the late afternoon, i started to feel ok. I wasn't sure if i would make it to the gym, but after dinner i felt pretty good. I still went, and had a suprisingly good workout.

Training - Legs

For how shitty all day i felt, i was suprised at how well i trained. Even now typing this, i feel pretty much back to 100%. I must have processed whatever was in the vial that made it cloudy, and its now out of my system or something.

BB Squats - 100kg, 120kg, 130kg
RDL - 100kg
Leg Press - 200kg
Leg Extension - Full Machine
Hamstring Curl - Machine Setting 68kg

Popped my Anavar 2 hours before training. I like keeping the orals as like a pre-workout thing, and not a daily thing. I could honestly also just keep it for days that i think i need the extra kick, and not every workout.

I loved orals when i was younger, but as i get older, i see more benefit in lower dosed, but longer cycles. Keeping the orals as only pre-workout, when needed.

Nutrition

I'm pretty confident that every day between now and christmas, i can accurately track, but christmas is no chance :D

I'm pretty confident that my elbow is completely fine now. That BPC157/TB500 combo is probably one of the few peptides, that i think is worth anything.

Speaking of peptides, @PharmabolicsOz sent me express a new Reta vial, that reconned absolutely perfect. I was confident it was just a random vial. I feel even dumber, because i could have just waited a day and saved myself feeling so sick all morning :cautious:

Legend also sent me a box of Aromasin, after i was talking to him about my gyno.

Nightly Update

Trained Back Pretty early in the morning today. I normally train later in the evening. Because it was early, i was able to use a pre-workout stimulant. I have found that i get better workout with a non-stim formula, but the ocassional caffeine kick is a nice way to mix it up.

Training

I've been REALLY enjoying the pre-workout Anavar from @PharmabolicsOz . Even at 10mg, it kicks pretty hard. The extra pre-workout kick made me feel super strong and get great pumps. I tried to take photos, but obviously my lighting sucks :LOL:

Pendlay rows - 90kg
Single arm cable low - machine setting 77kg
Cable pulldown - machine setting 86kg
Cable low - machine setting 86kg
One arm pull down, plate loaded - 80kg
Straight arm pulldown - machine setting 29

It would be fun to compare the pre-workout Anavar to the other oral steriods, but thats going down a risky path 😁

I think todays macro spread was pretty ideal. I'd like to hit this range more often.

The Legends from @Prymal sent me over some more BPC157 and TB500, along with some NPP and HGH. Im already looked after for HGH, but he asked if i could pin 10iu's and get a blood test. For my troubles, i can keep the kit. I was getting bloodwork anyway, so suits me fine. @PharmabolicsOz already looks after me for my needs, so this will probably go in the freezer.

For additional joint relief, he also sent me some NPP. I was thinking of adding 50mg deca a week, just for joint lubrication. Today however, i saw that there is some interactions between nandrolone and finasteride, which i take.

Long story short, it basically creates hairloss instead of preventing it. I dont want to lose my hair, thats why i use Finasteride on test. I purposely go with EQ over primo, and keep the Anavar use mild to avoid balding at all costs.

So i need to do more research before i commit.

I’m not sure about the NPP because of the finasteride interaction.

While you can physically take nandrolone and finasteride together, it is generally advised against because finasteride can paradoxically worsen hair loss and increase androgenic side effects when combined with nandrolone.
The key interactions include:
  • Paradoxical Hair Loss: In the scalp, the enzyme 5-alpha reductase converts nandrolone into 5α-dihydronandrolone (5α-DHN), a much weaker androgen. Finasteride blocks this enzyme, preventing this "protective" conversion. This leaves the more potent nandrolone active in the scalp, potentially accelerating hair loss.
  • Increased Androgenic Effects: Blocking 5-alpha reductase prevents the local inactivation of nandrolone in androgenic tissues like the skin and prostate. This can lead to increased side effects such as acne and prostate issues.

Hey bro! A lot of similar movements in this back-day. I can't see much for upper back either. Are lats an area of focus for you at the moment? You can get away with one pull-over variation (or a pulldown), and a seated row or similar movement pattern.

Yeah I focus on lats to give a more pronounced v taper look.

I do a straight arm pulldown, but I’m all ears for a back day suggestion.

Ah roger - I'd never seen it referred to as a straight arm pulldown so my brain skimmed over it.

For a back day that focuses on Lat development you might try the following structure:

Lower back isolation
Lower back compound #1
Upper back isolation
Upper back compound
Complete back compound lat biased

Might look something like this:

Pullover variation
Seated row variation (wrists to hips)
Rear delt fly or similar movement
Supported row - wide grip (elbows high)
Barbell bent over row, or seal row into hips for a bit more lat engagement.

Max 2x working sets at 0RIR.

This way you're still getting complete back development (important for a nice taper and flowing physique) while focusing on the lats. Also not spending more time in the gym than you need to.

Awesome bro! Yeah give it a try. There's more than one way to skin a cat, but I've been working on exercise structure for a long time now on myself and with all of my clients and this has been a consistent winner.

I had every intention to track my calories today, but as the day went on more and more treats were delivered as Christmas gifts from neighbours, and I couldn’t help myself 🤣

All the extra calories lately really contributed to a great workout. Pre workout Anavar always helps 💪

Db shoulder press - 35kg
Db raises - 20kg
Superset front and rear delt raises - 12.5kg
Cable felt raises - machine setting 14kg
Tricep push down - machine setting 50kg
Cable tricep push down - machine setting 50kg

As I was doing the HGH test for @Prymal i pinned 10ius intramuscularly. During my workout I got a wild headache, not sure if thats related. My head felt hot and tight. Weird.

I started the day well, tracking and measuring everything.

Then my neighbour bought over a honey cake.

Then another neighbour bought over a box of sandwiches.

Then another brings over a carrot cake.

Then my mother in law with a Bakewell tart.

Then I remembered it’s Christmas and it’s ok to enjoy myself.

I probably got my protein macro, but I have no idea the rest 🙃

I got a pretty big blood panel done this morning, along with the hgh test. Should hopefully give me an idea on how I’m doing.

I definately enjoyed myself on christmas. I did my best to be resonable, but still let myself loose a bit. I have absolutely no clue what my caloric intake was, but im sure it was high haha.

Fuck it man, it was christmas. I did end up training arms late at night just for fun. Might as well use the extra calories and get a mental pump.

Interestingly enough, i got my bloodwork back for everything apart from the HGH and IGF1, which normally takes more time. I was suprised to get it on christmas morning. (I've included some of the same hormones twice with the other commonly used unit of measurement.)

Im actually pretty happy with this. Free T is almost 1000, and estrogren is still at a reasonable level, despite EQ being ran at 80% of test.

Maybe i could supplement with DHEA, but thats more for mental wellbeing. I dont have much of a desire to increase my doses, this is a comfortable range for me currently.

Training - Legs (arms yesterday)

Yesterday i did an arm workout just for fun. Little christmas treat.
Hammer Curls, Close grip bench, cable pulldowns, Incline curls, One arm pulldowns, Barbell curls, Dips.

I dont really remembet the weights, and i barely remember the exercises. It was more just getting a gnarly pump and having some fun.

Today I had a more "serious" workout. Legs

BB Squats - 130kg for 8 reps
RDL - 100kg
Leg Press - 200kg (got more reps then usual)
Leg Extension Machine - full stack (getting a little easy)
Hamstring curl machine - 68kg

Legs are fast becoming my strongest lifts. Feels good to be training them more seriously. I've never had great legs, and im not sure how much they've grown, but they are getting strong as hell!

Food

Obviously on christmas, i ate whatever the fuck i felt like it. I wasnt stupid about it, but i enjoyed myself. Im not going to be weird and try to be healthy. Was nice to be pretty jacked and shredded around the family. Everyone was commenting on how good i looked. Feels weird to talk about the importance of diet and consistency when you're eating a second slice of cheesecake.

Today I struggled to eat, i got all 3600 calories down, but i had to make an effort.

I'm still yet to get my HGH levels back. Interesting to see what the results are. I've never pinned HGH intramuscularly before, is it a common thing?

I have to keep reminding myself that im trying to stay healthy. The dumb 20 year old in me is acting out!

I’ll probably do them towards the end of the log.

My blood pressure this morning was 110/70 and my resting heart rate was 64.

I know it’s not a perfect system, but if my blood pressure and heart rate are healthy, then I generally assume everything is good.

But I will check soonish.

I know when I “feel off”. I feel super healthy.

It's fair :D you're doing the best you can on health, thats smart, but liver kidney markets are one of the most important parts, along with thyroid fyi @Nasser1997o2

As i writing this, i've noticed my throat feeling pretty sore. I'm praying its from my BJJ session today and im not getting sick. Thats the funny thing about grappling, not knowing if you got choked out too hard, or its a flu coming.

Training - BJJ

I've sort of focused more on BJJ lately and i've been doing that more exclusively. Most fight gyms host all sorts of classes, and i usually do the MMA one, but i've found i enjoy the submission grappling more. About 2 hours before the session i took an Anavar tab 10mg. It ended up being a bit of a double edged sword. It made me signifigantly stronger, but made my arms too pumped and get sore. I think i would drop it next time.

Overall i felt super good during the rolls. I managed to get a north/south lat choke on a purple belt. Im a blue belt, so felt good to win against an upper belt. We were similar size, him slightly taller, but i was leagues stronger than him. It felt like cheating, now effortlessly i could rip out of submissions with pure strength. BJJ comps generally arent tested, so im sure all the winners use.

I was pretty exhausted after, and felt like my CNS was pretty shot. Like i said before, my throat hurts now, so im hoping it was the session and im not getting sick. Outcome isnt looking good however.

Food

Appetite is back to normal agaoin. Food was no issue to get down. I was pretty busy all day, but managed to hit my macros pretty bang on. I do feel a little flabbier after christmas and im resisting the urge to crash diet. Im sure it'll all even out. I wont hit 200pounds lean if i dont push the bodyweight up.

After my blood work results, i think i have a more concrete plan for after this log. I still intend to push it out to 20 weeks. After that, i will go on a more generalised log format. Instead of a set goal, set cycle, set calories ect. More a generalised overview of my training life. I would like to hit 200pounds by the end of this 20 week cycle (still lean). Then move towards a more maintenance, stay healthy, stay in shape style goal.

Absolutely loving the progress though. I can tell i've completely changed since the start. Tommorrow i weigh in, and ill do a comparison, as its the halfway point now (10 weeks).

I took a photo this morning to compare to my first picture. I can’t believe the difference. I’m up 8 kilos since I started. My strength has exploded and my body has completely changed.

I’m more than happy with the results so far and we are only halfway there!

Training - chest and biceps

Hit a new pr on chest press today. I felt amazing the whole workout. Super pumped, super strong, superhuman!

Incline db chest press - 45kg
Flat db chest press - 45kg
Cable cross over - 23kg
Incline chest press machine - 77kg
Hammer curls - 20kg
Decline curls - 12.5kg
Ez bar barbell curls - 27.5kg

Food

I hit my macros bang on today. Was super locked in and managed to get them bang on. Had to eat some weird things (half an apple lol), but we made the math work!

Thanks bro. This has been a pretty ideal recomp. I was fortunate that i started pretty lean and scrawny, post surgery. Usually you end up flabby and a mess, or skinny and lost muscle, when you recover from something.

I always prefer the skinny and lost muscle route. Muscle memory is real and its better than dieting :D
 
Nightly Update

I gave blood today. The nurse said to not exercise for 24 hours. I was supposed to train legs today.

So naturally i ignored the medical professional and set a new squat PR.

Training - Legs

I have been finding that my weight on squats keeps creeping up. I had previous attempted a 140kg squat, but failed it. This was some time ago, and i was confident i could do it.

I shot my L-carnitine and Animo acid blend 30mins before hand. I think i nicked a nerve on the left ass cheek and it hurt pretty bad. Last time this happened i got a massive bruise and and my ass-cheek got pretty swollen for a couple days. Looked like i had a huge cake 😂

Pip is a state of mind however, and mumma didn't raise no quitter.

Additionally, i've noticed that my blood pressure is pretty low often. Around 115/74. Telm and Cialis together might be too much. Im tempted to drop the Cialis too, and see how my blood pressure responds.

The EQ already makes me vascular enough, i dont think i need anymore from the cialis.

Nightly Update - Weigh in 87.1

This week I actually weighed in 300 grams less than last week. Thats not bad considering it was Christmas and all the good food I ate over the period.

I took a photo this morning to compare to my first picture. I can’t believe the difference. I’m up 8 kilos since I started. My strength has exploded and my body has completely changed.

I’m more than happy with the results so far and we are only halfway there!

Training - chest and biceps

Hit a new pr on chest press today. I felt amazing the whole workout. Super pumped, super strong, superhuman!

Nightly Update

I gave blood today. The nurse said to not exercise for 24 hours. I was supposed to train legs today.

So naturally i ignored the medical professional and set a new squat PR.

Training - Legs

I have been finding that my weight on squats keeps creeping up. I had previous attempted a 140kg squat, but failed it. This was some time ago, and i was confident i could do it.

I shot my L-carnitine and Animo acid blend 30mins before hand. I think i nicked a nerve on the left ass cheek and it hurt pretty bad. Last time this happened i got a massive bruise and and my ass-cheek got pretty swollen for a couple days. Looked like i had a huge cake 😂

Pip is a state of mind however, and mumma didn't raise no quitter.

BB Squats - 120kg x 8, 130kg x 6, 140kg x 3, 130kg x 4
RDL - 100kg
Leg Press - 200kg
Leg Extension - full stack (need to find a way to add more weight to it)
Hamstring Curl - Machine setting 70kg

The finasteride is a bit of a petty thing.

Pretty much all my ancillaries are prescribed. I get concession pricing in most, but I still try to find way to maximise the cost savings.

The 1mg box of fin is about $25-28. The 5mg box of fin is $30.

So if I get the 5mg and cut them into quarters, I get 4 months out of the box and it’s only $7.50.

I do the same with telm and Neb.

I used to run some pretty aggressive cycles in my 20s. At one point I was about 95kilos lean. Super unhealthy though.

Took many years off to have kids, and once they were older I went in TRT.

This is my first “cycle” in maybe 8 years or so. I’m definitely getting some muscle memory. I’m much older now, and realistically can’t handle higher doses and exotic compounds.

I was also natty for a whole decade before I tried AAS and even while I was natty during the kids period, I was a pretty good sized natty.

I can, but I have the follow reasons why not yet

1. I’m currently making good consistent progress at the current doses
2. I want to keep things like more hgh and other anabolics as a card I can play if I stall
3. Realistically, the physique I’m after, for long term health is a very impressive natty. I’m aiming to keep my bodyweight around a lean 90kg at my height. It’s a more pleasing look (to me)
4. I’m probably looking more at trying to find the minimum gear I need to maintain this sort of physique, save the higher doses for little blasts.
5. Currently on 8ius insulin, while I can genuinely feel making a bigger impact on my hyper trophy

The workout involved a pullover movement, and I drove out to a gym that I was SURE had a pullover machine. The gym either got rid of it, or I was imagining things. So I had to make do with the equipment that was there.

Training - Back

I normally prefer a higher volume, more reps, more sets hype of training. Because I do a lot of athletic stuff, I probably have quite a high cardiovascular endurance level, compared to most hobbiest weight lifters/bodybuilders.

The suggested routine was less sets, with a focus on leaving 0 reps in reserve. I don’t think it’s fair to give an accurate assessment after just one attempt.

I probably didn’t fully understand what a true 0RIP felt like, so my performance might not have been ideal, which is on me.

Db pullover - 40kg
Cable row - 100kg
Facepulls - 59kg
T-bar row - 80kg
Pendley row - 90kg

Like I mentioned before, there wasn’t a pullover machine like I would have hoped. It has been over a decade since I’d tried pullovers with a dumbbell. I could have handled more weight, but I think I need more practise with the movement.

Was really hungry today, so getting in the calories was super easy. I had wondered how EQ would have affected my appetite. My Reta is anywhere from 1-2mg a week depending on how my appetite is. If my hunger is higher than normal midweek, I’ll do another 1mg dose. It’s probably fair to say that the last 2 weeks have been pretty consistently 2mg, so the doses for below have been adjusted.

I normally do my rear injection on Sunday.

If by Wednesday the appetite suppression is not sufficient I will do another 0.5 to 1.0 mg Wednesday night.

It’s all based on how I feel.

Lately i've been running more Reta to help with the holiday period. I've jumped up to 2mg. I usually run 1mg, but will occasionally have a "top up" during the week. Its been pretty consistently 2mg over the holidays, so i've made the update. I have noticed a general increase in appetite, which i've chalked up to the EQ.

Training - BJJ

My "sports cardio" has been BJJ the last few weeks too, so this will be updated for future also. I've made alot of progress in grappling in particular, and i dont think i'll actually take an MMA fight, so i'll just stick to BJJ instead.

I also didn't feel comfortable striking, knowing i was enhanced. BJJ isn't tested and TRT/PEDs is pretty common, so i feel better about that.

Todays session wasn't a traditional session, it was an "open mat". Thats basically a pretty unstructured 1 hour in which you purely fight. No drilling techniques, no warm up, just pick a partner and fight for 5 mins, 1 min rest, find a new partner.

I won as many as i lost, so at least i didnt get "dominated". Good way to start the day. Went out for coffee with the team after and enjoyed the last session for the year.

Food

Did alot of estimating as i went to a new years function. Luckily there was alot of protein to eat and not much dessert food. So i was able to hit some "Reasonable" macros.

Went higher on the fat, but thats a guess from what fat percentage i assumed the meat was. Burgers and sauages, i usually assume the worst. Might not be super accurate, but i think i was pretty close

With the removal of the melatonin, i added Coq10 at 300mg a day. The melatonin is a pretty potent anti-oxidant, but the drowsy feeling the next day was hurting me. Coq10 should hopefully be a suitable replacement, with the melatonin being saved for emergencys.

Lately i've been running more Reta to help with the holiday period. I've jumped up to 2mg. I usually run 1mg, but will occasionally have a "top up" during the week. Its been pretty consistently 2mg over the holidays, so i've made the update. I have noticed a general increase in appetite, which i've chalked up to the EQ.

Training - BJJ

My "sports cardio" has been BJJ the last few weeks too, so this will be updated for future also. I've made alot of progress in grappling in particular, and i dont think i'll actually take an MMA fight, so i'll just stick to BJJ instead.

I also didn't feel comfortable striking, knowing i was enhanced. BJJ isn't tested and TRT/PEDs is pretty common, so i feel better about that.

Todays session wasn't a traditional session, it was an "open mat". Thats basically a pretty unstructured 1 hour in which you purely fight. No drilling techniques, no warm up, just pick a partner and fight for 5 mins, 1 min rest, find a new partner.

I won as many as i lost, so at least i didnt get "dominated". Good way to start the day. Went out for coffee with the team after and enjoyed the last session for the year.

Did alot of estimating as i went to a new years function. Luckily there was alot of protein to eat and not much dessert food. So i was able to hit some "Reasonable" macros.

I normally do my rear injection on Sunday.

If by Wednesday the appetite suppression is not sufficient I will do another 0.5 to 1.0 mg Wednesday night.

It’s all based on how I feel.

I don’t have a structured meal plan. I have macros I aim for, and I generally just eat whatever to fill those macros.

I know lots of competitive athletes have families, so I can’t say “I have a family, so I can’t eat a meal plan”.

I do value eating like a “normal” person. I enjoy the balance and variety. If I wanted to take it to the next level, I know I’d had to have a more strict eating pattern.

But I’m not a competitive athlete.

I have pescription THC.

The doses vary because some days i have none, some days i have a small puff of the vape pen, some days i might take half of a 10mg gummie, or a whole one.

Just depends on how i feel.

I will sometimes use a night time strain before bed, or a daytime strain before a workout.

Im a big advocate for medical and recreational THC.
 
Nightly Update
Something I’ve touched on before is my advocacy for medical and even recreational THC. It can be a polarising topic, and I can appreciate everyone’s input and differing stances. I try to never dig my feet in the sand and refuse to accept new ways of thinking.

Last night however, was an example of irresponsible use of THC. It was new years, the kids were asleep, and I was rewatching some favourite UFC fights and enjoying my THC vape. I definitely lost track of my intake and the next morning I felt rough.

If you overdo it, like anything, you pay the price. It’s mostly grogginess and dehydration. I knew today would be an effort, and there is only so much caffeine and stimulants you can rely on.

Training - Shoulders and Triceps
I’m a big fan of injectable preworkouts and amino acid blends. I like how it skips the digestive system and gets directly into the bloodstream through an intramuscular injection. Lots of preworkout drinks rely on stimulants, while injectable pre workouts are mostly amino acid blends, and b vitamins.

One I do have, is a little different. It contains albuterol, which is similar to clenbuterol, but faster acting and a shorter effect time.

It’s a powerful stimulant, and I admittedly only use it on days I’m struggling. I honestly can’t handle a lot of it, and sometimes it feels like it can hinder the workout more than help it.

Today I was feeling rough after last night so i used half a serve, which gave me 1mg of injectable albuterol along with 500mcg of b12, 25mg ATP, 50mg MIC blend and 200mg L carnitine (I added another 600mg in a seperate injection).

It immediately made me feel like a savage animal, ready to go to town. The pump was absolutely skin splitting. Partway through my shoulders were so tight and full I thought they would explode.

Db shoulder press - 35kg
Db delt raises - 20kg
Ez bar front raises - 27.5kg
Db Rear delt flys - 17.5kg
Cable delt flys - machine setting 6.8kg
Tricep push down - machine setting 68kg
Overhead tricep extension - machine setting 45kg

The workout was great, but the comedown was horrendous. I already felt tired from last night, but the rest of the day was a drag. I cannot wait to sleep tonight.

Food

Something that I’ve always done is a modified IIFYM (if it fits your macros). I don’t necessarily want to make all my carbs candy, and fats chocolate. I eat a pretty standard health conscious diet. All the same foods like eggs, rice, lean meat, fruits, vegetables, oats ect.

I do try to eat like a “normal person” though. I appreciate the hustle of people who do it, but I’m not going to bring a tubberware container of chicken and rice to a function, or eat tuna and rice cakes at the family dinner table while everyone else eats lasagna.

I got a good eye for estimating calories and macros. At the end of the day, I’m not a professional athlete, im not trying to win a show or compete. I do the best I can, while juggling a relatively normal life.

If I ever decided to do an aggressive cut or compete, I absolutely would switch to a meal plan, and I’ve done it before. Competing was fun, but it’s not really a goal of mine right now.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I will need to increase calories again soon. I’m still quite lean and probably have the room to do so. It’s probably a good idea to push calories as high as possible, so make the eventual cut, more enjoyable.

i try to keep my total AAS use around 500mg of all compounds combined. 250 test, 200 eq and 5 serves of 10mg Anavar hits it exactly.

I might lower the eq to 150 and test to 300, but I’m feeling good at the moment.

my libido is very healthy.

The reality of having a wife and kids is that I really can’t get action every night.

So I’d ideally like it lowered a bit. At the moment I’m like a horny teenager.

I’ve never had any issues with finasteride. I feel bad for those two do, because I’d hate to lose my hair.

My dad didn’t go bald until his 50’s, so I’m hopefully getting ahead of it.

Nightly Update

I might be coming down with a cold or something. This morning i have felt super sluggish and exhausted all day. Blood pressure and blood glucose is normal, so nothing out of the ordinary. It could also be the heat, or i am doing too much and not recovering.

I dont get sick very often, and i absolutely hate being sick. Fingers crossed it'll pass soon, i might be due a de-load week soon.

Training - BJJ (Also legs 2, but more info below)

Today i had a no-gi BJJ class. Its more closer to submission grappling, as a bunch of the other members do MMA, so they incorporate wresting and judo. The GI BJJ class is more traditional BJJ, and favours technique and skillset, while no-gi does favour being more athletic, which is my preference.

During my sparring matches i got paired up with another super athletic young guy, who always trains super hard. We had a match that pretty much had the whole gym watching us. The intensity kept rising and we both just refused to give each other any ground. It was like something from a movie. At one stage, he had me absolutely stuck in a head and arm choke. I then got paired up with the teacher, who saw our match and decided he wanted in. Jesus christ, i was USELESS. This 50 year old man, toyed with me like i would toy with a small dog. I gave it absolutely every inch of myself, and he played with me like i was nothing. All the PEDS in the world couldn't bridge the skill gap. Afterwards i just sat in my car, completely cooked. I had never been so exhausted in my life.

I got home and after i showered, i had some food and layed down. Next thing my wife is waking me up because it was daycare pickup. I had slept for 5 hours. When i woke up, i was so groggy and my body felt like it was still asleep.

Hours later, and even after more food and fluid, i was still absolutely done. I was suppose to train legs tonight, but just moving around is a chore. This is the first time since i even started TRT, that i have skipped a workout. If i feel better, i'll do it tommorrow, but i think my body needs a rest.

Food

I had to quickly eat alot of calorically dense foods to get my calories in, so the fat is a little high today. I had only eaten around 900 calories before my nap, so i had alot of ground to make up.

Nightly Update

I might be coming down with a cold or something. This morning i have felt super sluggish and exhausted all day. Blood pressure and blood glucose is normal, so nothing out of the ordinary. It could also be the heat, or i am doing too much and not recovering.

I dont get sick very often, and i absolutely hate being sick. Fingers crossed it'll pass soon, i might be due a de-load week soon.

Training - BJJ (Also legs 2, but more info below)

Today i had a no-gi BJJ class. Its more closer to submission grappling, as a bunch of the other members do MMA, so they incorporate wresting and judo. The GI BJJ class is more traditional BJJ, and favours technique and skillset, while no-gi does favour being more athletic, which is my preference.

During my sparring matches i got paired up with another super athletic young guy, who always trains super hard. We had a match that pretty much had the whole gym watching us. The intensity kept rising and we both just refused to give each other any ground. It was like something from a movie. At one stage, he had me absolutely stuck in a head and arm choke. So I’d ideally like it lowered a bit. At the moment I’m like a horny teenager.

I’ve never had any issues with finasteride. I feel bad for those two do, because I’d hate to lose my hair.

My dad didn’t go bald until his 50’s, so I’m hopefully getting ahead of it.
Yeah, I definitely think having hair gets more women.
 
i try to keep my total AAS use around 500mg of all compounds combined. 250 test, 200 eq and 5 serves of 10mg Anavar hits it exactly.
Bros, the tren is very interesting and seems to be trending more toward lower amounts of gear lately.

Don’t get me wrong, if I had the need to, I’d run higher doses.

I want to keep some cards to play later. If I’m making good progress now, no need to switch up.

If gains stall, I can increase food. If that doesn’t work, then I can increase peds.

yeah, I went way too hard at bjj.

It was fun at the time, to really see what you’re made of, how hard you can fight, push through the fatigue.

I’m paying for it now. I can’t be doing these brutal 5 minute rounds back to back in my late 30’s haha

Woke up this morning feeling pretty rough. I slept in a fair bit later than normal and took me ages to get going. I think i needed the rest day, as towards the end of the day i started feeling much better, still not 100%.

I've decided to drop the Cialis, as i was getting pretty consistently low blood pressure readings. I think the 10mg telmisartan is enough to keep my blood pressure in the optimal zone. I was also getting too many erections all day. Im also vascular enough, so the Cialis is just being removed for now.

Training

Today was a rest day. I was considering trying to get my second legs workout in that i missed from yesterday. I wasn't feeling the best and decided i needed to take a full rest day.

I've also had some minor pain in my ventraglute. I though it was just a bad shot, but it hasnt gone away. There isn't any redness or swelling, and it doesnt hurt to touch. Its just a dull ache in that area, i might has tweaked something my last leg workout.

If it persists, ill go to the physio and get it looked at.

Food

Appetite was pretty good, despite not feeling the best. Managed to get my standard meals in with no issue.

Nightly Update - Weigh in 86.9kg

The rest yesterday was exactly what I needed. Woke up feeling a million times better. Weighed in at 86.9kg which is a 200gram drop from last week. It’s the second week in a row that I had a weight drop, so it’s time for a small bump in calories. We’ll go from 3600 to 3700. This is the most food I’ve eaten in ages. Had to treat myself to a big slice of pizza to get it all in.

Training - chest and biceps

Felt really good in the gym today. I was eager to try all my amino mixes, and I think between all my blends and my AAS, I was pinning close to 4ml of liquid. Probably a bit overkill.

I lost track of what was what, and one of the jabs had some spicy PIP. My left tricep got that shot 😅

Lately i've been running more Reta to help with the holiday period. I've jumped up to 2mg. I usually run 1mg, but will occasionally have a "top up" during the week. Its been pretty consistently 2mg over the holidays, so i've made the update. I have noticed a general increase in appetite, which i've chalked up to the EQ.

My "sports cardio" has been BJJ the last few weeks too, so this will be updated for future also. I've made alot of progress in grappling in particular, and i dont think i'll actually take an MMA fight, so i'll just stick to BJJ instead.

I also didn't feel comfortable striking, knowing i was enhanced. BJJ isn't tested and TRT/PEDs is pretty common, so i feel better about that.

Todays session wasn't a traditional session, it was an "open mat". Thats basically a pretty unstructured 1 hour in which you purely fight. No drilling techniques, no warm up, just pick a partner and fight for 5 mins, 1 min rest, find a new partner.

I won as many as i lost, so at least i didnt get "dominated". Good way to start the day. Went out for coffee with the team after and enjoyed the last session for the year.

Food

Did alot of estimating as i went to a new years function. Luckily there was alot of protein to eat and not much dessert food. So i was able to hit some "Reasonable" macros.

Went higher on the fat, but thats a guess from what fat percentage i assumed the meat was. Burgers and sauages, i usually assume the worst. Might not be super accurate, but i think i was pretty close

With the removal of the melatonin, i added Coq10 at 300mg a day. The melatonin is a pretty potent anti-oxidant, but the drowsy feeling the next day was hurting me. Coq10 should hopefully be a suitable replacement, with the melatonin being saved for emergencys.

Nightly Update

Woke up feeling pretty awesome today. Lots of energy and felt really fresh. I was determined all day, to carry this good vibe to the gym later tonight, and it was a success!

Training - Legs

Hit a new PR for this log of 140kg for 4 reps for barbell squat. I was talking to my wife that i still had a weird pain in my glute from what i thought was a bad shot, but might be a little tweak. I promised myself i would go easy.

So naturally i hit a squat PR. That private health insurance is going to come in handy.

BB Squat - 100kg x 8, 140kg x 5, 120 kg x 6
BB RDL - 100kg (this is starting to feel a little light)
Leg Press - 200kg
Leg Extension - Full Stack. Im just gettting more reps in now.
Hamstring Curl - 70kg. Room to move.

My glute feels fine, but im probably going to go to the physio to check it out.

Food

I had some less than ideal food today, so the macros were a bit skewed. It probably helped with the PR for later though. Good old powerlifting logic!

I split my amino acid injections up. I did the L Carnitine in the morning with my insulin. Before the gym i did my pump blend and GAC blend. I could probably make a combination of the pump and GAC blend in one shot, so im not pinning 4 times a day (not including peptides). I honestly dont mind pinning. Its never bothered me.
