IFBB Arnold Classic 2026 Thoughts

It's going to be a tough competition. Bodybuilding has really taken off the past few years. Seems like everybody wants to do it. It helps that people can travel for work and do what they have to do to make money.
 
Sam Sulek failing to show his lats on the left side pose really made him look like an amateur next to Wes. Impressive to get as far as he has solo/no coach but he seriously needs one for his next run or I fear he may plateau. At very least a posing coach. It was a tough watch.

100% bro!! At least a posing coach!! He makes an absolute killing with his YouTube channel... he could of at least got the posing coach...

With the corny AI video posted to his Instagram to announce his partnership with a peptide seller on top of that, he for sure can afford it!! Hopefully it comes before another $40k Rolex Root Beer or another Mustang🤪🤪

I expect some good competition. Hopefully there are no controversies and the winner is a clear-cut winner.
 
I'm really curious to see the score cards cuz something crazy happened for Andrew to win. Personally I thought he was a clear 3rd at pre-judging and won the finals.

Nick won pre-judging for sure but sorta faded in the finals. Who'd have ever thought Nick would show up with the best conditioning though. Guess he has a lot to prove with no one to blame and fire this time.

I really don't see how Hadi didn't win on points. He was clearly 2nd on pre-judging and looked better in finals. I thought he may have won the finals. Don't get me wrong though, I wanted Andrew to win. He's what an open BB should look like. No offence to the short kings but I'm tired of seeing these tiny guys win open.

Wesley clearly got the classic but it was pretty weak...Mike Sommerfeld woulda beat them all if he didn't get pissy and walk off.

Anyone know any good links for the men's physique? I had to watch the Indian streams lol

It was diuretics if you ask me, likely intravenous lasix , he was holding water in the pre imo @BeMe

The official stream didn't really show their conditioning well. There was a professional photographer Galieo is his name I think, he was up from with a 4k cam and the guys looked totally different.

Martin especially looked like shit and the commentators were all over him but on the 4k cideo he actually looked really good. All the other stuff he did...not so good lol. I'm all for standing up for what you believe in and not being fake but in sports you're supposed to drop that and shake hands with your enemies, then fight them later lol

Martin wasn't great, I hate to say it but I know prep is hard but he needs to tighten up.

No he was definitely off. I just meant he looked terrible on the official stream. All smooth and watery but I'm the 4k her was actually pretty vascular and has some nice separation. Wasn't anywhere near the package he brought to the O or Prague, big step back.

Ya his prep was really bad apparently. He had to go zero carbs to cut the weight. He posted the other day and said it was his worst prep ever for the worst results ever.
