Main foods are Chicken, Venison, White Rice, Sweet Potato's, Tuna, Cream of Rice, Honey, Rice Cakes, Kale, Spinach, Almond Butter, Walnuts, Rolled Oats, Blueberries, Bananas, Pineapple, Eggs, Egg Whites, Whey protein ISO (1-2 scoops daily), Cyclic Dextrin (intra with EAA's)
Training:
I have been running a PPL, rest upper, lower, rest routine but I want to change it up
PPL, Rest, PPL, Rest splitting shoulders from chest and quads from hamstrings. If I feel the need for an additional rest day, I will add it
Eccentric Movement is the name of the game, not looking for PRs at all, save that for the youngsters.
Goals:
1# Priority is to maintain health, mentally and physically. I am completely transparent with my wife and she knows my plan. She knows me better than anyone else so if things get ugly, we pull the plug, if all is good, I may titrate up to 140mg-180mg/wk. halfway thru. She is totally supportive of my journey, and I am very thankful for her saving my life from addiction.
I posted bloods on my last Log right at the end, everything looked great. LDL is at an all time low which was a happy surprise. I will check LCMS E2 at week 4 of this cycle because I am curious to see how the Mast will affect it if at all.
I don't care what the scale does, I care what the pictures do and seeing more loose skin around bellybutton which not a fan of, but it is a sign that I am doing something right LOL
Prospect the thoughts of maybe competing at state level in 5 or so years
Quick personal History:
I am a veteran and addict. I was addicted to heavy drinking and cocaine, like grams and grams. Going on 4 years of Drug sobriety and 1 year from alcohol. If I had kept going the way I was going, I wouldn't have seen
The gym is my place where I can regulate my aggression in a healthier way. I have been off and on anxiety and depression meds but have been away from all that for 4 or 5 months and feel better and better (i contribute the healthy habits I have learned and incorporated) I have recently started going to Church as well, my daughter had asked about it and me and her have been going since the beginning of the year, I think it is helping me more than I thought.
I think my simplicity with training and nutrition have served me well, I don't get bored eating the same thing. I am a simple man and don't need to confuse the program
