🤔 Thoughts/Reflections:

No excuses on the weather front anymore since its basically summer here now, so I am going to start putting a little more effort into getting some actual cardio in. Last week was biking, and today I went for a quick jog around the neighborhood before work. Nothing crazy fast, just enough to get the ol' ticker working a bit.

I was tempted to take the wheels out since its still my favorite form of cardio, but even in the middle of the day I have had a few close calls with cars and I am not trying to tempt fate over some cardio points.

Other than that, pretty chill day!

Well the E2 came in this morning - and EQ seems to have slammed it like the Rock doing the peoples elbow! A bit unexpected as I haven’t noticed a classical low E2 symptoms.

  • Bump to 500/w Sustanon
  • Lower EQ to 100/w
  • Add in Mast at 200/w
  • Redo bloods in 4 weeks

This is natural with eq situation BUT I would make 1 big suggestion, please dont add masteron.

I would drop ALL eq/masteron for 2 weeks and stay on 500mgs sutanon @catdadironman why? let the eq clear your system it has a long half life, you want it out of your system before you get the masteron in and retest.

  • 2 weeks sustanon solo
  • week 3 50mgs masteron
  • week 4 100mgs masteron
  • week 5 retest

She can be a cold hostile woman Eq brother ey hahaha. Was having a look back through, you were on 400t and 200eq for those bloods? Your proper peeled too which in itself limits the aromatase enzyme but where e2 sit at on trt dose normally? Just curious and trying to get a gauge of how you aromatise is all brother...

Interesting to see the shift moving to 500t and 100eq.

The objective is simple: achieve stellar aesthetics, lean into some confidently short shorts that probably qualify as a personal decision, and make it look like it was all easy.

Next on the agenda: addressing the aggressively pale Midwest winter Skin. A strategic transition to "heavily bronzed" is in order.





The Cycle will be a 16-week blitz to size, leanness, and hopefully some PRs. The game plan will be to run the following dosages until my 4-week bloodwork - then adjust accordingly. ☀️

@catdadironman it's so cool how EQ has become this anti-estrogen steroid. Historically it never was the case.

I didn't see the E2 test till now. Very interesting that you have no symptoms. I agree with Lev, Eq has a long half life of 14 day's. And depending on how long its been ran. 6 week's the system should be coming back to normal. It would be good to know where you sit with E2 as low as you body fat is on how much if any type e2 control you would need. For myself mast has zero effect on E2.

@LevButlerov is correct if you want a true bloodwork 'baseline' on Sust solo then cut out the Mast. Sometimes I forget it's a marathon not a sprint so no need to rush any compounds that may affect e2. Let's get a pure e2 reading after 4 weeks of solo Sust... better and more patient option.

Yeah, I never would have known had it not been for bloods. But looking back, I can kind of piece together a few subtle warning signs anecdotally - feeling a little dehydrated despite crushing fluid intake, along with some minor lethargy and brain fog that I had chalked up to the new split, harder training sessions, and adding more cardio. Nothing major enough to set off alarm bells at the time, but in hindsight, it lines up with low E2 symptoms.

I have only been on it for about 5 weeks, so hopefully we caught it before things became fully saturated. Hoping the 2 weeks of solo Sustanon is enough to right the ship and get everything back into range.

I started the cycle coming off a TRT dose of 120mg/week of Test Cyp. My pre-cycle bloodwork showed LCMS E2 at 37, which was on the higher side. Since I have maintained my current level of leanness for several months, I opted to run a 2:1 ratio based on the elevated E2 response I was seeing, even on a low dose of Test C, at a lean body composition.

So there was a bit of logic in opting for the 2:1 ratio rather than a lower dose. But lesson learned!

Just curious and trying to get a gauge of how you aromatise is all brother...

No worries at all! I posted it and asked for input! I am here to soak up as much knowledge as I can. I have a lot to learn, and if my experience can give others some insight, that's what this place is all about!

Same here! I got plenty of time - and having the Sust running solo at 500 isn't sacrificing much of the cycle.

500 mg a week of sustanon is a solid dose by itself. @catdadironman so stacking the other stuff with it is pretty good but I wouldn't be scared of low estrogen. The more testosterone you use the more it should bounce.

@catdadironman amazing job at making adjustments on the fly like this. That's the whole reason why we recommend getting blood work done so you can learn about your body.

Got a full 8 hours of sleep before my pre shift session, and it showed. Woke up feeling dialed in, rested, and ready to go. Rolled into the gym and absolutely went to work on a push day. Incorporated some lighter smith machine presses to see how the shoulder would hold up - felt good with no pain! Hoping to keep adding in some additional movements now that it appears healed up. And man...those Anavar pumps are just on another level! See post workout photos attached!

Running on fumes after the early workout and 12 hour shift - so short on the thoughts today. All macros, vice count and health metrics within goal ranges. Consistency is the name of the game, and today checked every box.

Now its just a matter of seeing what the sleep gods have in store for me tonight. Really hoping the internal clock chills out and lets me ride it all the way to my 4:30 alarm. These 3am wake ups are great when they are planned.. not so much when they are not.

Good shoulder session before work today. Shoulder continues to feel good, so I think the bicep tendon is finally mostly healed up. Looking back on that whole process still makes me cringe a bit....it was such a pain in the ass to work around and train through.

Because of that, I think I will probably stick primarily to machines moving forward. I am progressing really well without needing a ton of free weight work, and the free weight movements I do use became very curated during the healing process: I know what I can do with minimal risk of rehashing that injury. Plus I am long past the ego phase of needing to sling around the heaviest dumbbells in the gym. I am in this to craft my physique...not to powerlift.....and its working.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it right?

Good shoulder session before work today. Shoulder continues to feel good, so I think the bicep tendon is finally mostly healed up. Looking back on that whole process still makes me cringe a bit....it was such a pain in the ass to work around and train through.

Because of that, I think I will probably stick primarily to machines moving forward. I am progressing really well without needing a ton of free weight work, and the free weight movements I do use became very curated during the healing process: I know what I can do with minimal risk of rehashing that injury. Plus I am long past the ego phase of needing to sling around the heaviest dumbbells in the gym. I am in this to craft my physique...not to powerlift.....and its working.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it right?

500 mg a week of sustanon is a solid dose by itself. @catdadironman so stacking the other stuff with it is pretty good but I wouldn't be scared of low estrogen. The more testosterone you use the more it should bounce.

@catdadironman amazing job at making adjustments on the fly like this. That's the whole reason why we recommend getting blood work done so you can learn about your body.

I am not overly concerned about the E2...mostly just glad I caught it early. I already planned on running monthly bloodwork throughout this cycle since its my first "true" cycle, and I wanted to stay dialed in on how my body responds to increasing doses for future runs. This ended up being a very valuable data point. Apparently I respond pretty aggressively to EQ, even though I naturally sit on the higher end of E2 from relatively low-dose test alone.

The whole point of the monthly bloods was to stay flexible - make adjustments when needed and before anything snowballs into a real issue. I am here to learn, not pretend I know more than the experienced minds here, because I definitely do not. I will always crowd source input because teamwork makes the dream work!

I think we will have things back on track pretty quickly here.

I'm really hoping that 500 Sust gets your e2 up in 4 weeks, otherwise it's go time with your Sust dose LMAO.

Total rest day today. Easy shift at work, and the weather is an absolutely perfect 85 and sunny. Life is feeling pretty damn splendid at the moment.

Time for a little week in review - because quite a bit happened in the log:

4 week bloodwork came back about 95% perfect. The only markers out of range were HDL - which was expected with the Anavar - and E2, which the 2:1 EQ dosing absolutely cratered. Plan moving forward is to drop everything except 500/wk Sustanon for the next two weeks. After that, Masteron will be slowly introduced in 50mg increments over the following 2 weeks, which lines up with my 8 week bloods. Once those results come back, we will decide whether EQ can be worked back into the mix for the remainder of the cycle.

All of my self tracked healthy markers continue to sit comfortably in healthy ranges - weight and BF holding steady, and average BP remains well under 120/80

Gym performance lately has been unreal, and I am extremely happy with how this cycle is progressing overall - even with the E2 hiccup. Sometimes the body likes to humble you a little and remind you that chemistry sets can have consequences.

Solid plan. Primo is my go to for e2 management. I dis like how I felt with adx. Then eq turns on dick mode/anxiety for me. Only once have I tanked e2 and dbol saved me in the short term, joints felt like glass really fast at 1:2 primo.

It definitely helps having it around. Dbol for me actually gives a really nice "warm blanket" feel its hard not to take it more often.

Everyone will have different reactions. So EQ is off the table for me. Plenty of other ones that get the job done just fine. Nandrolone also has this effect on me in larger dose. Small amounts is okay. But e2 controlled with primo has been my path.

It is funny how EQ will affect me in certain but not the person standing next to me.
The only feeling I have ever had from Primo is sore joints and being tired. No matter what ratio I have tried. 2 to 1, 1 to 2, 1/4 to 2
Primo to test. It doesn’t matter with me.
I love the EQ, but I can tell if i where to go any deeper than EQ 150 to Test 400, that it would be bad.

Put in a good leg day before heading to work this morning. Pendulum squat continues to be my favorite, and I squeezed out and additional rep on the working sets - gains continue! I also put some new machines to the test and found myself quite taken with the Nautilus leg press. With a low, close stance I was able to work through a deep ROM that really torched the outer quads. Then there was the Cybex plate-loaded extensions. I have to say I like them better than the pin-selected ones I am used to, you can get a far more intense squeeze at the top of the rep. The quads will be making themselves known tomorrow for sure.

On another note, my resting heart rate was lower than it has been in recent memory, which was a pleasant surprise. With the extra cardio I have been putting in of late I would like to see it keep going down.

On another note, my resting heart rate was lower than it has been in recent memory, which was a pleasant surprise. With the extra cardio I have been putting in of late I would like to see it keep going down.

Put in a good leg day before heading to work this morning. Pendulum squat continues to be my favorite, and I squeezed out and additional rep on the working sets - gains continue! I also put some new machines to the test and found myself quite taken with the Nautilus leg press. With a low, close stance I was able to work through a deep ROM that really torched the outer quads. On leg extensions, lower the weight to where you can barely get 15 slow steady reps in and super set them with heel elevated body weight squats to failure, when you think you are done, push out 2 more
Use a 10 pound plate, heels together and toes splayed out, FOM on the squat.
Bro, try them, let them take you to that place.

Put in a good chest day, though I had to shorten it up. Was on my way out when one of the house gremlins made a bid for freedom into the garage. I had to put in 10 minutes of pursuit and some firm negotiating (aka treats) to get him back into his proper domain. With the pre-work timeline already tight, that meant the push ups got sacrificed from today’s routine.

But all in all a very solid lift. I had the mind-muscle connection dialed in on the fly’s and could get a massive squeeze and stretch out of them. Finished with an excellent pump so I was more than content with the session despite it being a bit short.

Last day of work before my long 5 day weekend - hoping to get some more biking in and to find a pool to lay by. The weather is looking perfect to be shirtless in the wild.

Sunday = weekly metric check in day. Weight and body fat are holding steady - even with the increased carbs, blood levels look good, and overall things feel great. One thing I have really been hammering is hydration, and honestly I think its helping just about everything across the board. Sleep has been better, RHR is looking good, blood pressure seems more steady, and its keeping the blood viscosity in check. The downside? I piss about every 25 minutes. My bladder may hate me, but the rest of my body seems pretty happy with the arrangement.

Biggest news of the week though - I decided to start a completely new split tomorrow. I have been running variations of P/P/L for around a year now, and I could feel myself mentally starting to drift through workouts. Still training hard, but some sessions were starting to feel more like going through the motions, instead of attacking the work. Focus wasn't as sharp, intensity wasn't where I wanted it, and things were honestly just getting stale. This is usually a good sign to shake things up before complacency creeps in too far.

Ever since I started doing these pre shift workouts at the new gym, it feels like something clicked again. Training under a strict but manageable time constraint has completely changed the energy of my lifts. The sessions feel intense again. Just straight to work moving heavy shit with laser focus. Honestly some of the best workouts I have had in recent memory.

The new split will run Mon-Fri, and I think it comes with two huge benefits. First - I finally get two consecutive rest days. I honestly can not remember the last time I had that. Second - having two back to back rest days gives me the flexibility to shift workouts around if life happens. My old setup felt very rigid, and this should give me some breathing room to adapt if needed.

MON - Anterior Legs / Core
TUE: Chest / Biceps
WED: Back / Triceps / Core
THU - Posterior Legs
FRi - Shoulders / Core

I currently have the whole thing structured around supersets to maximize the limited time frame I have before work, and on paper I think it flows well. But also posting this for my expert brethren to dissect - and advice or tweaks are absolutely welcome!

Put in a good leg day before heading to work this morning. Pendulum squat continues to be my favorite, and I squeezed out and additional rep on the working sets - gains continue! I also put some new machines to the test and found myself quite taken with the Nautilus leg press. With a low, close stance I was able to work through a deep ROM that really torched the outer quads. Then there was the Cybex plate-loaded extensions. I have to say I like them better than the pin-selected ones I am used to, you can get a far more intense squeeze at the top of the rep. The quads will be making themselves known tomorrow for sure.

On another note, my resting heart rate was lower than it has been in recent memory, which was a pleasant surprise. With the extra cardio I have been putting in of late I would like to see it keep going down.

Back workout went really well today - got pull ups back into the mix, which felt great. Hammering out pullovers on the vintage Nautilus machine instantly improved my mood. The whole time I was imagining all the absolute mass monsters that probably built their back on this ancient iron relic over the decades.

During the workout, the gym owner told me several new back machines are getting delivered next which, which has me hyped. I asked him how he plans on fitting even more equipment in the gym, and he said he's and expert at "heavy ass Tetris" 🤣

What time do you take your baby aspirin? Do you take w/ food? Does it need fat to absorb?
I have been keen to add to my supplements stack.

I take it first thing in the morning with my morning supps. I do not believe it needs fat to absorb.

When I was running EQ - this in addition to focused hydration kept my BP and blood levels just about perfect.

The low e2 is hitting but you'll recover as the eq leaves the system :D @catdadironman that hard dry look is what bodybuilders look for preshow thats why they use arimidex to crash e2 right into the show get hard dry and get off so it spikes up, basically a hard rebound but their e2 is so low its fine for them.

I believe Catdad at one point said he aromatizes easily so he and Harley talked about bumping the sus from 400 to 500.
I would believe that the test P plays a part in this. But so do the 3 other Tests in the mix.

Thats what the pre cycle bloodwork showed - E2 a bit elevated on 120mg week Test C. While the low E2 isn't ideal, I will be able to get a good read on how I aromatize for future cycles.

Slept great last night - woke up feeling fully rested, and the elbows felt much better overall. Maybe the yard work just exacerbated the low E2 symptoms a bit, but today was a much better day all around. Energy was solid, joints felt happier, and generally just felt more like myself again.

Absolutely slaughtered my hammies and glutes. Everything felt strong, controlled and explosive. Walked out of the gym feeling like I had horse legs and I know stairs may be an issue tomorrow.

Went on a quick bike ride after to get some cardio in and enjoy the weather. Originally wanted to push for 15-20 miles, but the legs were completely smoked from the lift and just did not have another gear to give today. So I kept it shorter and just enjoyed the ride instead of forcing milage. Plenty of weekend left to get some riding in.

Finished the day off with a little rest and recovery tanning session outside, which is a very underrated part of summer. Good training, good weather - overall very solid day from start to finish.

🤔 Thoughts/Reflections:

Slept great last night - woke up feeling fully rested, and the elbows felt much better overall. Maybe the yard work just exacerbated the low E2 symptoms a bit, but today was a much better day all around. Energy was solid, joints felt happier, and generally just felt more like myself again.

Absolutely slaughtered my hammies and glutes. Everything felt strong, controlled and explosive. Walked out of the gym feeling like I had horse legs and I know stairs may be an issue tomorrow.

Went on a quick bike ride after to get some cardio in and enjoy the weather. Originally wanted to push for 15-20 miles, but the legs were completely smoked from the lift and just did not have another gear to give today. So I kept it shorter and just enjoyed the ride instead of forcing milage. Plenty of weekend left to get some riding in.

Finished the day off with a little rest and recovery tanning session outside, which is a very underrated part of summer. Good training, good weather - overall very solid day from start to finish.

This is a true recomp, you're weight hasn't moved since early April and we're in June next week. Crazy!

And this is after adding more carbs! If the weight hasn't really moved this week - going to up the macros again!

You're so darn lean bro you can try a period of high carb like 500g if you wanna adjust macros.
