I wanted to know what kicks you guys use to train in?

I ran sprints today and my shins are killing me, which isnt a first.

I like Nike Luner Eclipse to run in as well as gel kayano (long distance)

The days I do legs I wear my chuck taylors (flat)

But I haven't found a shoe thats light and supportive... especially doing sprints and interval training.

What do you like to rock?

Mizzunos for running bro. They're about $140 at most shoe stores but worth it. Spend some money on good insoles too because that's half the battle

Wow you guys have options, lol. I went to the mall in Mexico and they had one pair of size 12US and thats what Im training in....didnt feel like special ordering.

Nike blazers...perfect for squats, deads, over head press, etc... zipper allows you tighten them up, or loosen when done. Hard bottoms so no give.

I get them cheap...under 15

Sprinting really.. when I lift I usually wear converse. Cracking me up with the bearfoot shit. This aint kenya fool :sly:

When I Used to run long distance "well" 4-5 miles which is long to me my shines would hurt too. I used to run in a arched shoe. I switched to a flat bottom Nike running shoe. It really helped my shines. New Balance makes a good flat bottom shoe as well. I lift weights in a Adidas wrestling shoe....

I have a high arch too.. I think I need to get superfeet

I second whoever said Mizuno's...I don't run much anymore these days but they were all I wore for PT in the Army and we did a shit load of running. A good pair of shoes makes a huge difference.

Nimbus 13 from asics (Amazing !! ) , but I want go to minimalist

Asics also have some good shoes along with saucony. Best advice is to go to a local store that specializes in running and have them fit you with a shoe for your specific running style and your foot.

Yes not being in the US I can see that happening. Local stores are higher here as well but for that first time getting set up correctly can keep you from a lot of pain down the road. Once you know the brand and model you like and your size in that brand (because it can vary brand to brand) then you can order those on line.

That's the smart thing to do, they may even be able to help make some corrections to your stride that will help with lowering the pain as well.

I got some otomix trainers, they are good shoes and have great ankle support.

Yeap. I like the thin soles too. I can feel the floor. I don't like running shoes with the cushy, squishy wedge under my heels when I'm squatting or deadiftiing. Other than when I tried them on the first time, my Otomix have never been worn outside the gym. They're several years old.

Fuck running, got too big for my joints to handle it lol

I hate you guys that dont have to do cardio... bastards

I use new balance cross trainer shoes but they dont make them anymore. But if you want to go legit get a molding
of your foot so they can customize your arch. In addition you will need some impact absorbent your knees will thank you.
Why dont you stair master or elliptical?
Lastly im no ectomorph either so I have to hit that cardio a lot! My diet only helps so much.
But the trade off is I gain strength and mass better muahaha

Yea Bro i love them fits like a condom .lol
