Sorry to hear that. You pinched your back, gotta be careful, man. Make sure you're warming up properly and stretching.

Definitely time to add some yoga twice a week.

That will help with the pinched nerves.

Stretch your spine out every day. Maybe consider investing in an inversion table.

You definitely don't want to develop more and more imbalances

that will lead to more and more injuries.

Proud of you, man. Keep up the good work. Those abs are looking sensational.

You're showing that you don't have to run a ton of gear to have great results.

Wow, that VAR is really looking good.

It's paying off for you. We can tell the cutting and hardening is having an effect.

@haldencapital missed your updates bro thought you sick
abs looking and back wide i like your size
you did what with diet?

yeah, night shifts hit hard right now... Diet is still in check. But hunger is terrible. ghrelin must be very high due to the lack of sleep. I must admit that my caloric surplus has been higher than it used to be. I'm trying to find a new footing right now :/

@caligirl85 exactly! I hope this will serve as an exemple to many who try to jump far too deep in a cycle right away before even having a good foundation. :)

I hated every night shift I ever did

oh man! These are soul killing really. But it puts food on the table so got to do what we got to do! @Mobster
Bros You are amazing. Look at that physique. V-shape is in!

@ceo thank you :)

@sambee38 @BookerTNY @Arabian @Zyglamail thanks for the input guys! i started stretching yesterday, again. I always stop but have to get back to it every time this back pinch comes around. I should really take care of this on the long run and stick to it. My gym has an inversion table. I'm going to use it and see!

Are you able to add extra naps bro? ;)

It's been almost 10 days since the last update. I've been working the night shift and sleep got all over the place. I took more rest days than usual while increasing my caloric input, as I felt like the quick progressive overload started to take a toll on recovery.

Weight is up to 172.0 in the morning. It's only been 4 weeks and a half at 150 - 175 mg per week + 40mg of var. Up almost 10 pounds without gaining too much fat if any.

Today was leg day so first picture is without any upper body pump. Flat front picture, no gimmick to look bigger. I can tell that my stomach is building thicker. No bubble gut, but i can tell that I would have one if I was heavy on the dose. I look fuller while wearing a shirt and my shoulders actually look like I somewhat lift even without a pump. lol

Back shots from two days ago, still getting decent activation. Had to cut the workout short, I pinched my lower back while doing barbell rows. Lower back is a weakness of me. I always tend to get injured and since I got noticeably stronger in a short period of time I need to get it up to speed with the rest.
@haldencapital man those night shifts suck. Did them for a while. Still looking lean though.

@haldencapital looking lean, jacked and vascular bro! Awesome work!

Last update for several days as i'm heading towards a 7/7 work schedule, time will be limited.

With summer almost there, i am thinking of increasing my cardio up a notch to be able to mountain bike this summer with my additional weight.

I will likely keep the same split but might switch to 3 days on, 2 days off if i feel like recovery is difficult.

So far my split is :
Day 1 : Legs/Abs
Day 2 : chest/shoulders
Day 3 : back/arms/Abs
Day 4 : rest
Repeat

I might switch to :

Day 1 : Legs/Abs
Day 2 : chest/shoulders
Day 3 : back/arms/abs
Day 4 : rest
Day 5 : rest

But i feel like it's too much of a gap between each muscle group.

To counter that, I might try and structure a upper/lower split when I will be on my 7 off days. For now, I don't have much time to structure it but it seems like the more sensible approach.

Summer is close but you're going to get even more ripped I see it. @haldencapital
can you take less days off? lets say 5 days training 3 off?

Whatever you're doing. It's working man.

But it never hurts to change things up, just to keep things more fun.

Absolutely love what you're doing. You're pushing things and you're having great results.

You got a fantastic physique,

very vascular and very low body fat.

It doesn't hurt to change up your workouts.. at worst and at least you won't get bored with the same thing over and over.

Man, your vascularity and muscle is looking so on point. So impressive, man, we love it.

Thanks for sharing your split.

I think it's worth switching up if you feel like that would help things.

maybe try resting between day 2 and 3

These are certainly alternatives i'm looking into.... I'll try to structure two different plans and try them for 3-4 weeks and see the evolution.

thank you! Doing the best i can with the minimal knowledge i have. Always learning. Student to the sport.

Thank you @caligirl85 :)

Bros. I used to get called middle the night to go do a plumbing job.
Sucks because I would be asleep and get a phone call. Someone's pipe burst or something happened with a clogged toilet.

Oh man i know the feeling. I don't really mind working at night but one day of bad sleep can ruin an entire week. Very difficult to get back over water when sleep is not optimal.

Stretching is very important, man.

I would go take a couple hot yoga classes and really get back into it.
bro i like to hang upside down on flag pole.

just like a bat. stretches out the back.

stretching as i age is something i consider more and more :D I would be the only male in the hot yoga class that is for sure :)

Man, you look incredible, brother. Truly a fantastic physique on point.

Thank you!

How do you keep your skin So smooth and clean shaven.?

you using a razor or what?

I do shave my chest from time to time, but most of my hairs are on my forearms and legs so i guess i'm lucky :)

Man, your vascularity and muscle is looking so on point. So impressive, man, we love it.

Thank you :)

@haldencapital Great work bro.......

My 7 days "on" from my 7/7 work schedule are almost done. Tired as hell. I will likely sleep like a baby for the next few days.

I've been doing a new legs, push, back, arms split to see if i can accommodate my working schedule.

Day 1 - Legs
4 sets of squats. 325 lbs.
4 sets of glute bridges.
6 sets of RDLs. As heavy as I can with good form.
4 sets of quad extensions.
Abs
Day 2 - Chest and shoulders
4 sets of shoulder presses. 80 lbs.
6 sets of incline BB press. 215 lbs.
8 sets of lateral raises. 30 lbs.
5 sets of decline DB press. 85-90 lbs
Day 3 - Back
4 sets of one arm DB rows - 100 lbs
6 sets of shrugs and barbell rows superset. 150 lbs.
3 sets of pull-ups (BW + 35 lbs)
V bar row with the landmine (2.5 plates) or meadows row with barbell + 50 lbs.
Day 4
Curls, curls, curls. Triceps extension. (lol)
Abs
Day 5
Rest
Repeat

The legs seem to be growing. I might add a leg day here and there if i see that I can. But if it grows with this much rest between each leg day, i will leave it as is. No need to do junk volume.

174.2 pounds as of today.

@haldencapital we missed you bro but hard work is needed right
chest shoulders day i like it but really want to see you do more dips an dless overheads
get some more updates for EVO family up

Weekly update on this 7/7 work schedule. :/ Not much happened this week. Very tight left pec. I'l going a lot heavier than before and i took it slow this week to prevent an injury. Overall, i begin to feel to fatigue. I'll keep training this week but the volume will be much less. Kind of a quick deload to give a chance on the joints.

It's been 7 weeks out of 12 on this testosterone only cycle. So far, i went from 164 lbs to 175 lbs without any noticeable fat gain. My arms are building some nasty veins on both sides even with no pump. On average, the dose was 160 mg per week so far and will end up at a terminal dose of 200 mg a week. I don't feel i need more and this is very sustainable which is my main goal. Most effective dose on a gains to side effects spectrum.

Now that I will know, after 12 weeks, how my body tolerate and evolves with about 150-200 mg per week, i'm planning to get masteron involved:

  1. Masteron enanthate at a 1:1 ratio with with test cyp.
  2. Anavar for the last 8 weeks, low dose 20mg as pre workout only.
  3. For the final 6 weeks, windstrol.
  4. And clen on a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off (6 weeks on total) if i cannot find some ketotifen. If I find some ketotifen i'll lower the dose and keep it on for the last 6 weeks.
  5. Then, 2 weeks off everything to clear the esters and jump on a 6 weeks Nolvadex PCT while getting back to my TRT dose.

@haldencapital overall looks good as a plan bro but why are you getting on PCt at your age? you should be considering using self TRT if you want my view
your test cycle is low you look amazing why not keep it?

@Npcclassicphysique champ i'm still working on this spreadsheet lol You are most certainly right, the whole transition to gear is still challenging when it comes to my thought process. At 200 mg of test a week, of course there would be no need to stop and I could continue to cruise along between 150-200 mg and stay pretty sharp. IN the back of my mind, i know too damn well that this is what is going to happen :D

Main thing is I would really like to get this dose prescribed for travel and legal purpose with work which my doctor here in Canada will never allow. He was reluctant with going up (yes, up) to 75 mg a week.

Spreadsheet seems kinda anal and potentially too planned. I say that as someone who used to do just the same

 I appreciate the honesty @Mobster

I've found that I basically do it mostly to know how much gear to order. Pretty much it.

I would write it out in much the same way. Stevesmi and I have also done shows on flexibility on cycle. For example let's say I planned on doing 200mg of a PED. 6 weeks in zero deviation and very poor results. MAYBE doing 250mg might make a HUGE difference and in the planned 2 weeks left?

Yeah, sometimes we overthink things and it's just not necessary. Keep your mind on point.

The vascularity is insane.

You've got very low body fat, proud of you.

Keep up the good work, man. Leg training, looks fantastic.

@Mobster yep! No point in having rigidity. The body doesn't work that way. The important thing to me beside knowing how much gear to store is tracking the doses i take for future reference when i think an adustement is required. Cycle XYZ this year wont't have the same effect in two years so i want to have a log for reference point. Obviously, this is my first time so my body responds differently.

bros You did over 3 plates for 4 sets of squats. That's not easy.

i'm trying to see if i can grow these legs. Not an easy task. I actually think that squatting is too much taxing at times and that i could benefit from doing leg presses instead. Easier on the back and i could recover much more quicker. There is two schools of thoughts here and I will change things up this summer by doing more presses.

lots of dudes go to yoga. i see bigtime bodybuilders and athletes in there all the time
go to a more advanced class and you will see what i mean

interesting! Will try it for sure to see it for myself! Thank you!

bro hammer down the beef and red meat. that is important

that is something i need to increase indeed. I've found a great Angus farm about ten minutes from home. I'll give them a visit and see if i can get some nice steaks and ground beef.

It's a good layout but I would keep your testosterone.

Those consistent the whole way. No reason to decrease it or increase it.

Thanks for your input. I'll be moving towards this option.

You won't go wrong with this. Muscles look really ripped and physique is really looking good.

Thank you for your input @Wootoom much appreciated :)

I think it's a good blueprint but I agree with the guys, you don't need to stick with it 100%.

can you do self TRT? just use sustanon you can pin sustanon 1 per 2 weeks if you travel

Right after my 12 weeks of testosterone build up, i plan on doing the following.

@haldencapital Sounds like a smart approach, prioritizing sustainability and listening to your body. 11 lbs gained with no noticeable fat increase in 7 weeks on a moderate dose is solid progress.

Those bicep veins look killer 💪

Great layout

Left pec still hurts a bit when i lock my range of motion at the top of chest press mouvements so I continue to workout prudently by avoiding flies and avoiding any lock out. The tension is always on so i still manage to have great pumps. I schedule 15 minutes of mobility work on the shoulders everyday to make sure I recover and keep it well oiled.

I went off my antidepressant meds i was taking since last year after my divorce. I feel very dizzy and light headed. That is a challenge for sure, on leg day. Trying to not pass out. I guess i'll have to deal with that for a week or two as i get into withdrawal. Down 2.5 pounds since yesterday, not sure if these meds was holding water or whatnot?!

It's snowing here, yes. Still. So cardio is a bit on and off but i bought a jump rope so i can do my cardio at home when time is tight.

@haldencapital left pec hurts but looks amazing :D very ripped. You have to be careful with it.

The withdrawal is hard but you should stay strong. Did you add lions mane reishi and other mushrooms?

Start pushing cardio again.

@LevButlerov i have no experience with shrooms. Does that really provide an edge? I did look at this alternative to reduce my anxiety in the past but never pulled the trigger on it.

Those aren't drug mushrooms, more like OTC, helps a lot.

oof, these mushrooms are expensive! I just found a few retailers in Canada, their profit margins must be insane! it looks very intriguing though.... not a fan of powdered form medecine so i'll see if i can find great pill alternatives thank you!

there aint cheap ones otc bro?

cheap and Canada does not go well in the same sentence :) They are otc, but not cheap. Even the air we breathe is expensive right now :ROFLMAO:
I dont know much about Canada except we tried to buy you guys didnt work LOL! :P

any updates for us bro? @haldencapital

@Npcclassicphysique champ yeah, did not get mushrooms just yet :)

Withdrawal symptoms from antidepressants are slowly fading. But recovery took a hit. Flu-like symptoms with fatigue, muscle aches, poor sleep. So i took it easy. Mostly pump workouts. Nothing too heavy to avoid deteriorating the recovery.

I'm still working 7 days a week so not a lot of times for updates. I will try to make a more detailed update this weekend.

Now weigh 176.6 pounds. On average I gain a solid 0.5 to 1 pound per week. Which sounds insane for my old natty self. 200 mg of test cyp a week for 1 pound a week on a slight caloric surplus. I'll take that. I do start to see minimal fat added to my lower back. But with all the weight I put on, it's insanely minimal.

The rear delts how now as big as my head lol (one can dream)

***UPDATE, ALMOST THE END OF THE FIRST CYCLE***

It's been 11 weeks out of 12.

First cycle :

- On average 160 mg of test cyp per week. Injections every 3 days.
- 40 mg of anavar on training days.
- Push, pull, legs, arms, rest, rest, repeat.
- Completely quit alcool on day 1.
- Complete withdrawal of my antidepressants. This was a b1tch for the last three weeks and definitely slowed down my progress a lot. But it's for the best.

My morning weight went from 164 lbs to 180 lbs this morning.

First time I hit 180 without too much fat on the frame. I came a long way from my 135 lbs road cyclist era!

Strength went up 10% to 15%. Not a lot, proportional to my body weight gain.

I actually look like I lift while wearing a shirt lol

Progress is real. 160 mg a week isn't a lot some would say. Just enough to kick start my metabolism for growth. My goal was to slowly integrate coumpounds to have a sustainable approach to using PEDs. I ate pretty much at maintenance for the first 5 weeks, slightly above for week 6-7-8. And really enjoyed the Easter feast at week 9-10. :)

Essentially there is no need to go on 300 mg + on a first cycle. i think that the 6 years of rigid training and food monitoring were the key to being able to build this amount of muscle with an easy 160 mg cruise cycle and truly access how the body reacts. Keeping simple coumpounds at lower dose is the a great way to avoid randomness in the results at the start.

Gear on it's own cannot overtake bad training, bad diet and habits. I see a lot of folks on social media just jumping on the dirty bulk thing and thinking increasing the dose will magically make it work. There is no way.

I got my post cycle bloodwork yesterday. I still have a lot of room to increase the dose and add coumpounds. But for now, summer is almost here and I want to enjoy mountain biking. As much as I would like to crank it and proper bulk to 200 lbs by tracking my food more religiously, timing is not the best. So, why not try to keep as much of what the cycle gave me but doing a mini-cut as I know what I can do at low dose without stressing it too much?

A few progress pics from 10 weeks ago to now in chronological order. Below.

Our good source at @Nordic Fusion will help with providing the goods for what I consider being the second experiment of this endeavor.

From 180 lbs, how much can I keep while going back to having a road map of veins on my shoulders?

In 3-4 weeks, i'll be going for 200 mg of test cyp, 200 mg of masteron at maintenance calories (i still need time to figure out what that maintenance number is), and once i'm aware of my maintenance, slowly build a deficit to integrate anavar (40mg), clen (25-50 mcg) and winstrol (40mg) for the last 6 weeks. I've been using these orals in the past as a cyclist so i know how i manage them. Looking forward to see how masteron can help me in the process.

My goal is a 170 lbs athletic dry look for the summer and for mountain biking. Let's see how it goes.

@haldencapital You ran that cycle smart bro!
Clean 160 test with anavar, no overkill, and still pulled solid lean gains while staying sharp with diet and training. Respect for dropping the meds and alcohol at the same time, that’s real discipline. Hitting 180 for the first time with a clean frame shows your foundation was already strong. Mini cut into the summer with masteron and clen sounds like a solid next step to bring out that dry look bro i want to see you slice it down!

@Npcclassicphysique champ I sure am going to slice it down 🔪 I'm going to stock up on my favorite zero calorie flavored water and clean up the fridge from any possible temptation this weekend and I'll try to run it until mid July. Peanut butter is out of the house, that is a good start. 🤣 I got a large delivery of horse meat in two weeks, this will be my treat. 😋

Hopefully this will be an injury free mini cut 🙏🏻

Horse meat? lol :P you need to post that @haldencapital
I think @Phill had horsemeat in his log too.

Start a new log for the cut, you have EVO family support big time. :D

@haldencapital you look like a beast for sure. great job on this update and you are killing it!

@haldencapital Bros, you should be proud of your progress. You look fantastic, very vascular. Even your neck popping out.
