Carrier oils make a difference?

Do you think that the carrier oils that they use and steroids today are different than the ones they use say 10 or 20 years ago.
I was having a discussion with someone and they were saying that they used something different today. He said that back in the day they will use CSO and today they use another one cause it lasts longer and hurts less.

of course over time new methods are used and developed... that goes with anything manufactured out there... people always look for and develop newer and better methods in anything and everything

Carrier oils changed over the years for sure, these days some stuff is great some is junk
