I want to start taking creatine 3 times per day, but was afraid of kidney problems. I need to know which creatine, monohydrate or HCL is better and which has less side effects. Please help me choose.

i tried both didnt see much difference bro...but if you worried about kidney problems, maybe creatine is not for you....

All I know is I'm taking HCl right now and it has the most god awful taste ever lol. Lemon flavored salt

I totally agree.. I just couldn't believe how bad it tasted. I can pretty much handle anything but this is a challenge even for me lol. I think it really could be an issue for some people though

As long as you stay within recommended dose, you really don't have to worry about kidney strain with Creatine

creatine doesn't cause kidney problems.

it will elevate your creatinine levels artificially that's why when you get bloods done you should stop taking it ahead of your test

they tell you to fast before a test for a reason... well with creatine you gotta fast from it for a while beforehand

I don't think there much diff save the money

I really like creatine HCL find it to be very effective without any stomach bloating or gas issues. I've been taking pre and post Jym by Jim stoppani and both have 2g of creatine HCL and I love this stuff!

never heard of taking creating 3xs a day. Is there significant benefit over taking 5 g a day?

Not even sure what creatine hcl is but I have heard kre-alkalyn or whatever it is is good for people with belly problems, I personally use normal micronized mono.

HCL is better, but in my opinion krealkalyn is best. Creatine doesn't cause kidney problems that's a myth

I use Kre-Alkalyn and it has been my favorite among the different options

HCL is a light creatine that doesnt bloat u but reguardless thats a waste of money with all that creatine ur gonna just pee all that water out, creatine is good when used correctly too much is just a waste of money, you should cycle on and off for better results and if ur trying to get bigger u take a low does of test prop 500 wk with a nice pct for beginner

The ancient strength product n2bm makes has both of these creatine types in it, does that make it better than taking a single kind? has anybody used that product?
