yeah weight training is a very solo thingYa team sports are great for a lot of reasons. Training with a partner can be fun too but personally I find I work much better alone.

Yea I think so too. It's funny tho cuz all the training videos I watch of guys like Ronnie or Dorian they always had someone there yelling at them or with them. Maybes there's something that too.yeah weight training is a very solo thing
Easy day in the gym and the bikes look legitLog Day 153
Yesterday was probably the easiest day I've ever seen in a gym. It wasn't even a workout lol. Deload had me doing 4 sets of pretty easy work. Recovery is back up again today.

Had some errands to run yesterday so I got my little supermoto out for a ride. It's the bike I've put the most work and money into. Full upgraded from the tires up. It's a weapon.
Took a pic of all the bikes cuz it was a rare day where they were all uncovered.

Lol nice one.Easy day in the gym and the bikes look legitthey safe on Canada roads? or only issue is the Moose?
lol sorry I had to @BeMe
So like, we have moose in northern Minnesota. I’ve seen them in person. And when I think of Canada I just think of Minnesota, but more. More snow. More bears. More wolves. More moose. And I’m not really changing my mind hahaha. Canadian cities aren’t real. Yall live in cabins and wear mittens you can fit a toddler in. And if winter is tooooo bad you might eat your family members, but no one ever talks about it.Lol nice one.
It's funny cuz @stevesmi asked me if we have Moose at my parents place up north. You American guys think moose are like squirrels running around everywhere up here lol. Luckily I've only seen one in a zoo. They're the most dangerous animal to meet in the woods in Canada, but none in southern Ontario.
Riding is safe up here. I'll even ride the middle one in the winter. It has a heated seat and grips and I have a heated suit I throw on. As long as there's no ice or salt on the roads I'll ride. I rode in the snow a few times in my younger dumber years.
You know I honestly thought there is wildlife there everywhere lolLol nice one.

Bro you got one hell of an imagination. So like, we have moose in northern Minnesota. I’ve seen them in person. And when I think of Canada I just think of Minnesota, but more. More snow. More bears. Honestly, Canada was one giant wildfire this summer actually..it was the worst season on record. Where I'm located there were big ones to the north, east, and west. You know I honestly thought there is wildlife there everywhere lol@BeMe the podcast set me straight.
The bikes look good really nice ones![]()
Yeah yeah. But really, I’m surprised that wildlife doesn’t come into the city. I guess they have no reason to like here. We had a bear and two cubs right up the road from me a few years back. And the wolf population in Ohio they are pretty sure by the genetics and the timeline… they migrated right through Chicago. We’ve got mountain lions and bobcats too, but you won’t see them in the city like some places.Bro you got one hell of an imagination.
I only ate a piece of my cousin, he's still around lol.
You gotta go pretty far north in Canada to hit the true wilderness. @haldencapital is way closer to it than me. I'm a city boy who gets up to cottage country on the weekends. Very far from all that real Canadian stuff.
Ya I figured you'd get much the same as what we get.Yeah yeah. But really, I’m surprised that wildlife doesn’t come into the city. I guess they have no reason to like here. I thought they can stop wildfires by clearing brush etc, I guess not. @BeMeHonestly, Canada was one giant wildfire this summer actually..it was the worst season on record. Where I'm located there were big ones to the north, east, and west.
It's weird too cuz up until 5 years ago I had never seen forest fire smoke in Toronto and now suddenly it's every summer. Something weird is going on
the yelling crap is just for show. its really dumb and you get kicked out of any decent gym for acting like that.Yea I think so too. It's funny tho cuz all the training videos I watch of guys like Ronnie or Dorian they always had someone there yelling at them or with them. Maybes there's something that too.
My wife and I we're watching a show called Platonic on Apple last night. There was a scene when this guys was going for max lift and he tells Seth Rogen to call him a bitch while he's pushing. I was telling my wife maybe she needs to stand around calling me a bitch when I lift and it might push me to bigger PRs lol.
I wish they could. I kind of wonder if there's more to it than someone's out there starting these things.I thought they can stop wildfires by clearing brush etc, I guess not. @BeMe
I know it works in sports sometimes. Your coach yells at you and you get fired up and go out and do better.the yelling crap is just for show. its really dumb and you get kicked out of any decent gym for acting like that.
i think in weight training it works against you. you will try and push too much weight and hurt yourselfI know it works in sports sometimes. Your coach yells at you and you get fired up and go out and do better.

I’m surprised you made it this long! Better go up two sizes of you have any weddings during your tren cycleI get to do my favorite this tonight....shopping for clothes. I fukn hate shopping for clothes. I just wear gym clothes all the time lol.
Brother in law is getting married next week and none of my nice clothes fit me right anymore lol. Feels like I'd split the shirts and pants open if I bend over to pick something up. I even had to add a link to each of my watches cuz my wrist has grown 3/8". Wish I could add to my existing clothes so I don't have to go shopping...never considered this when I went on cycle lol.
Gonna buy 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants cuz hopefully I'll outgrow those next cycle.
I'm the dude who never goes to the wedding but always sends a good chunk of money that more than covers a couple plates. I figured thats best for everyone involved. Only when I'm forced will I attend. I've been to wayyyy more funerals then weddings. Those I always show up for.I’m surprised you made it this long! Probably the supermoto, the dirt bike looking one. I've turned it up so it's really fast and it's so light weight you can do anything you want on that thing. When I have to get around the city it saves me sooooo much time. I must mess up the ETAs for everyone else on their Google maps cuz I beat the time by so much shooting through the traffic.@BeMe Good work bro.....bike collection looks legit....which one you like the most?.....
Ya that's a good point. Always a fine line between max and too much.i think in weight training it works against you. you will try and push too much weight and hurt yourself
I'm not an expert but heard they can clear the brush and it's done lolI wish they could. I kind of wonder if there's more to it than someone's out there starting these things.
I like your deload @BeMe smoothLog Day 154
Another deload day yesterday. It's pretty tough to stop myself from just throwing up extra reps. I think I lied to myself a couple times and messed up the count so I could do one or two extra reps. Duno how I could miscount 6 or 7 reps but I told myself I did atleast 3 times lol
Sleep was suboptimal but not bad. I ate a little bit later than usual so when I took my GH I only finished eating about an hour 15 before. Probably blunted the GH effects.
It's the weekend now so plenty of rest on schedule. Think I'll pin 3iu tonight then get some serious sleep.
Tomorrow heading up north to my parents place. Taking the sport bike to rip up and down the 507, which is basically a single lane highway race track.

last Wedding I went to I didn’t fit my suit anymore so I just wore this fancy button down shirt that I still have from when I actually had money hahaha. So I looked like a Miami drug dealer at a wedding full of doctors and judges and such hahaha.I'm the dude who never goes to the wedding but always sends a good chunk of money that more than covers a couple plates. I figured thats best for everyone involved. Only when I'm forced will I attend. I've been to wayyyy more funerals then weddings. Those I always show up for.
Lol ya the Tren will hopefully take me up another shirt and pants size. I'm just gonna get one of each so I'm not wasting too much money. I don't even know where to go, have to lean on the wife on this one. All the stores I know are apparently gone or barely in existence now
Yea I need to try and make sure I eat earlier to avoid blunting the GH, or just take more GH lol.I like your deload @BeMe smootheven a bit off if you didnt sleep.
Overall, Good log. Deload is always the hardest mentally, you feel like you’re slacking if you’re not pushing but it’s what keeps you progressing. Don’t stress the miscounting, that’s just your brain wanting to move weight. GH timing yeah, eating that close will blunt it a bit but one day here or there won’t change the outcome. Stay consistent with sleep and food and the bigger picture plays out. Enjoy the bike ride, that’s as much recovery as the rest days.
No expert, but I was a fire mitigation logger for a summer, in Colorado. We cleared so much brush and dead trees. Insurmountable task. Didn’t work. There were huge fires and I had to go home. The pay was horribleI'm not an expert but heard they can clear the brush and it's done lol
yeah especially as you ageYa that's a good point. Always a fine line between max and too much.
Lucky for me I don't have to wear a suit and the wedding I'm going to is a actually gonna be full of gangsters and drug dealers lol. There will be a lot of people wearing flash designer clothes and sunglasses indoors haha.last Wedding I went to I didn’t fit my suit anymore so I just wore this fancy button down shirt that I still have from when I actually had money hahaha. So I looked like a Miami drug dealer at a wedding full of doctors and judges and such hahaha.
They put me at the “singles table” and that was the old drunk from the ski team, the ski team’s “biggest fan”(special guy that rode his bike all the way to Iowa for a tournament, hasn’t missed a show in 30 years) and a lady cop, who is pretty as hell, but much older than me and absolutely batshit crazy. So my friends were like “we have to save Todd” and invited me to their table. Lady cop starts crying and I had to go back and wound up being her date.
Never again.
Ya I'm some cases there's nothing you can do. This year we had sevre drought across Canada all summer and a crazy ice storm in April that killed a shitoad of trees. Perfect fire conditions. No expert, but I was a fire mitigation logger for a summer, in Colorado. We cleared so much brush and dead trees. Insurmountable task. Didn’t work. There were huge fires and I had to go home. The pay was horrible
Oh I guess that doesn't work lol @toddthelineman can't imagine how we would stop those fires. No expert, but I was a fire mitigation logger for a summer, in Colorado. We cleared so much brush and dead trees. Insurmountable task. Didn’t work. There were huge fires and I had to go home. The pay was horrible
You're right, really work on controlling the motions and the brainYea I need to try and make sure I eat earlier to avoid blunting the GH, or just take more GH lol.
It's funny about deloads cause I completely get the reasoning but as soon as I start lifting even a little bit it's like something else in my brain takes over. That's probably the addict rearing it's head.
Focusing on technique and slowing everything down seems to help a bit. Trying to focus on building a better mind muscle connection when the weight is really light.
I got to see them. They did everything they could. Dumping water from helicopters and cutting lines through the pines. I guess you just save what you canOh I guess that doesn't work lol @toddthelineman can't imagine how we would stop those fires.

Carbs weren’t wasted, they’ll help you bounce back from that heavy output day and the gym work. Going overboard once in a while isn’t the end of the world, your body will use that fuel especially if you were pushing hard at work and training. Focus on steady hydration and get some clean meals in the next couple days to balance it out. Sleep is the bigger limiter here, so just ride out the cold and keep things light until you’re fully recovered. @BeMe is your room dark?Log Day 155
Wow I went way overboard on my carbs yesterday. Didn't even think about it when I was chowing down on all the rice noodle vermicelli with dinner lol. I did have a very hectic high output day at work so hopefully that helps use them up a bit. My fitness tracker thought I was training for 2 hours during my work day cuz my heart rate and breathing got up so high.
Good thing I had the lightest deload arm day in history cuz I was pretty tired after work.
Tried 3iu GH last night and got some good sleep but I was interrupted by a coughing fit in the middle of the night and a pounding headache. My wife was sick the last 2 days so I guess I caught it. Took some Advil went right back to sleep and I'm ok today. Sucks that it messed up my GH recovery sleep though.

Hahaha yes. There’s a way. It sure seemed insurmountable at the time. It’s like, a million trillion trees. Giant match sticks. And it gets dry, and then there’s fire tornadoes that jump hundreds of feet and thousands of acres are burning. It’s a force of nature. Clearing 100% of the dead would eventually kill the forest. Not great. Maybe we can bring back the giant mega fauna beavers like they did the dire wolves. Or the ocean levels with rise high enough that everything will stay wet. I've always felt better running low carb. I feel sluggish when I go high. that's true as well, lets start with the bloods, but tbh 2 vs 3 iUs not much issue with health. @BeMeMy doc was saying anything over 2iu a day he prefers to test IGF1 and IGF LR3 first just to make sure the GH is promoting any negative growth in the body. I saw HS CRP is a good test to run as well to make sure you're not fueling any cancer with the GH. I'd kinda like to run GH at 4iu before bed after seeing Kurt Havens interview about his GH book. Kurt believes 4iu before bed is the sweet spot.

Not a ton to report from yesterday. Got up to the cottage and went for a nice hike with the wife and dogs. Got up over 13k steps on the day. Went out for dinner and got some fresh halibut and mussels.
I thought I only brought 3iu of GH up but it turned out to be 4iu so I just ran it. Slept amazingly well and recovery was through the roof this morning. It's nice being able to bump the GH once and a while and just flip on a recovery switch. Nice tool to have in the bag for when things get tough going forward.

And I agree the difference and wow factor with GH starts at 4iu for me for sure.

Forgot to screenshot my workout before starting a new mesocycle so it's gone.

bro you quench your thirstSounds like a good way to burn more calories like a real man
is it a specific type of carb or all carbs? i mean white bread vs. fruit vs. sweet potato vs. veggies.I've always felt better running low carb. I feel sluggish when I go high. I used to think it was because of the type of carbs I was eating, but even when I eat fast digesting less processed carbs I feel the same way.
Don't think my body processes carbs as well as most. Usually a high carb day for me is around 300g.
fish sauce sounds nasty lolYa none of that for me. The noodles were just plain with a bit of Vietnamese fish sauce on it. Fish sauce is crazy powerful so a tbsp goes a long way.
bros you will be fine lolI noticed a difference in the way my body looked the next day but that was about it.
Dead weeds lolYea it's great except for all the dead weeds floating in lol. Today was not much of a rest day after moving all that tonnage
Ya there's definitely something going around up here as well. I guess it's the seasons changing. I'm all good now tho bro. Thanks@BeMe hopefully you didn’t catch it. I know there is a virus going around. They say Covid hitting hard again. Stay hydrated, brother.
Just a bit of hooch and I'd be good to gobro you quench your thirst
Fruits and veggies no prob. Too much grain or starches I feel bloated and tired. I've tried eliminating them before but then I felt weak all the time. So if I keep carbs mid to low for my weight I'm good.is it a specific type of carb or all carbs? i mean white bread vs. fruit vs. sweet potato vs. veggies.
It's definitely an acquired taste. Have you ever eaten at a Vietnamese restaurant? You know that yellow peachy coloured sauce you get with your spring rolls. Thats fish sauce.fish sauce sounds nasty lol
Yea starting to get a little to dialed into every little change haha. Being super type A has its pros and consbros you will be fine lol
It was a damn good workout. I'd rather be working up there in the lake than on the job anyday so you're right about that.Dead weeds lolprobably still tranquil. @BeMe
Man, your like a real live cyborg with all this dataLog Day 157
Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH
Yesterday wasn't much of a rest day, but it was a lot of fun and some good work. Probably got a better workout moving all the weeds out of the lake than I would have in the gym. My fitness strap picked up on the fact that I was working and thought I was training. I'll post the stats below.
Had a ton of fun riding my superbike yesterday. Got it out on the little mini race track highway for a couple hours.
While I was eating dinner I realized I forgot to bring a clear visor for my helmet and the sun was going to set in 40 minutes. The drive home is typically an hour and a half. Finished up eating as fast as possible and left my parents place with 30 minutes before sunset. Raced myself the whole way home and managed to get it into my driveway in 58 minutes. It was pitch black when I got home.
I took the one Highway ramp so fast I literally hovered my knee right above the asphalt as I was passing some kid in a souped up Lexus at 160km on an on ramp. Just kept praying not to see any cops the whole way home and it worked out.

That’s a solid day logged. Funny how yard or lake work can burn you out more than a session in the gym lolLog Day 157

i did once at a strip mall type placeIt's definitely an acquired taste. Have you ever eaten at a Vietnamese restaurant? You know that yellow peachy coloured sauce you get with your spring rolls. Thats fish sauce.
Ya I love it. I like seeing how diet or lifestyle changes effect me right away. Going off feel isn't enough for someone like me lol. I need to know everything hahaMan, your like a real live cyborg with all this data
That’s a great tool to have , man you can track literally everything![]()
Yea it was a pretty stressful day for my body but I enjoyed it.That’s a solid day logged. Funny how yard or lake work can burn you out more than a session in the gym lol, strap doesn’t lie on that one. The bike ride sounds like a blast, nothing beats getting out on the road and pushing it. Racing the sunset home must’ve had the adrenaline flowing hard, that’s one way to test your focus. Hitting ramps at 160 and scraping near knee level shows you’re confident with the machine. Just keep an eye on recovery since all that stress adds up even if it’s not weights. @BeMe
You probably are fish sauce and liked it without even realizing it hahai did once at a strip mall type place
Every year we have a big river cleanup party. It’s a community event with prizes for the most trash or the weirdest trash. I’ve been wanting to build a workboat so I can really participateIt was a damn good workout. I'd rather be working up there in the lake than on the job anyday so you're right about that.
Have you tried magnet fishing? I've seen some guys pull out some crazy stuff that wayEvery year we have a big river cleanup party. It’s a community event with prizes for the most trash or the weirdest trash. I’ve been wanting to build a workboat so I can really participate
Yes! I have a few magnets. I’ve gotten a couple phones of mine and friends, but no good stuff. The river bed is littered with guns. Cars. All kinds of junk. The river was the dividing line back when it was what I call an apartheid city. Last summer they found a car that was missing since the 60s. Nobody is paying to get it outHave you tried magnet fishing? I've seen some guys pull out some crazy stuff that way
Huge high zone but goodYea it was a pretty stressful day for my body but I enjoyed it.
