Log Day 148

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

I missed my arm workout this past Monday and my app wouldn't program my Friday arm workout until I completed the missed day. So I did my Monday arm day yesterday and I'm doing my Friday training on Sunday. NO MISSED DAYS. That's my mantra. I can count on one hand the number of days I've missed in the last 3 years.

I had a mini cheat last night and got French fries with my smoked turkey breast. Man those fries tasted good lol. That's still about as far as I'm willing to wander off the path with eating. Any further and my sleep starts to suffer and I feel gross.

Training was strong again. Bumped up the weight on tris and bis by 2.5lbs and matched the reps of the previous weight. Spent most of this week upping my weight in preparation for next mesocycle where I'll be going lower rep and heavy for the first time in a while. Looking forward too it. Gotta prep my body for the heavy weight lifting I'll be doing on my Tren cycle.

This is a good day I like the reps @BeMe

No missed days is perfect :D

You did a cheat meal and no pics for the EVO family? :D and btw you need something bigger to add next time like a slice of pizza. @BeMe

How are your arms, pumped?

Naw the wife and I would love to go but I'm too busy with work to even take 1 week off, let alone a few weeks to get to Asia. Just gotta stay on my grind for now while I'm young enough and I'll lay back and enjoy life sometime in the next 10 years.

Fair enough bro, something to look forward to! You're grinding good! I used to go to Siem Reap, right next door in Cambodia where Angkor Wat is every weekend when I got posted to Singapore or other places I didn't like or couldn't score smack easily in.

It's very similar to Vietnam and also great people with a similar attitude to them too. And their pharmacies are even cheaper, 100 Valium was $3.20 USD so I'd guess testosterone will be next to nothing. Anything with generics is cheap and plentiful. Trenbolone is over the counter so that probably indicates they've got everything else too.

Hit me up if I can ever help you with time management at work bro, I excel at that ;)

Naw no pics. It was just an order in from a BBQ place.

Pizza fries and Turkey breast. That's the meal of a very confused person LOL. I think if I ate pizza too I'd get bloated and my sleep would suffer. Cheat meals just don't work for me. I'm more of a cheat snack sorta guy.

Arms are showing good signs of improvement. I started at 16 1/4 inches but haven't measured to check progress yet. Arms grow so slow and I don't wanna get discouraged lol. Going off looks they're looking a lot better for sure. Deeper cuts and definitely larger when relaxed day to day now.

I loved Ronnied for years and I get where you're coming from on greatness, but he didn't need to keep training that heavy with the injuries he had.
He had a legacy and he messed it up imo.
Man, I see where he’s coming from though. He had the same herniated discs as me, I believe. Mine might have been worse, idk how he did what he did for so long before finally getting surgery. But I never had that surgery either and after what happened to him I don’t think I will because I’m not stopping what I do until I cannot do it anymore. I can’t. People have been telling me I need to stop working so hard and asking how I can ski like I do for years. People told me I’d cripple myself since I was a kid. But you can’t tell a squirrel not to climb trees right? I started climbing tall things as soon as I could walk. Gave my mom heart palpitations hahaha. Ronnie loved lifting like that. Ego can kill you, and that sucks. But some people are just that way

Haha time management is my jam..I'm all about ultimate efficiency in everything I do. Comes from my days as a waiter, I can't help it. Even just doing stuff around the house I always think of everything I'm going to do and move in the most efficient path lol.

Valium... funny you mention that. I remember I was hanging with my boys when I was like 17 and smoking weed and one guy had a bunch of valiums. Didn't know what they were and I took a couple. Didn't feel anything so an hour later I took a few more. Went to work and hour later still feeling fine..then at work I froze in the middle of the kitchen. Apparently I just stood there for a few minutes with people walking around me. My manager came up and said "Are you not feeling well, you want to go home" I just walked out. She was cool, she knew I was fucked up. Next day she told me what happened, I didn't remember, and she was like what the fuck did you take. Never did valium again lol.

Just curious is that your TRT dose or is that a small cycle amount? I calculated out about 250 a week.
Ya that's the goal amount. I'm running sports TRT levels as a cruise between cycles. Trying to hold onto as much of my gains as possible.

I used to take that stuff all the time. Man! I remember drinking at a party with these two really hot girls. And I remember being on a mattress in the floor with no sheets or anything with them. And I woke up all sticky but by myself and I don’t remember a damn thing. Haunt me for the rest of my life

I don't think it was ego with Ronnie. It seemed like he just loved lifting heavy more than anything. You could see the joy it brought him pushing those heavy sets. We all get that same rush when we go heavy and hit a PR. I know for sure I'm addicted to training, maybe he was too.

Only difference is he made a small fortune doing it and inspired millions of people around the world.

Yeah man. I really like him. He seems pretty humble for the most part. He’s pretty weird for sure hahaha

Weird but so loveable. He seems like the most genuine guy and what a great personality. He's by far my favorite person to watch train too. So motivational.

Oh damn, that's lucky!! Sweet she was cool aboit it too! =) I've only had them a couple of times myself, was never into pills because they were harder to get in large quantities, hence having to fly to Cambodia.

Last time I had them I side-swiped or crashed into three expensive cars which they still send letters to ex girlfriends house about. The different insurance companies have conflicting accounts haha.

They detoxed me from alcohol at the hospital using them, I guess there is cross-tolerance because I got 80mg the first day, over the day.

Did that for 10 days straight and was worried about withdrawal coz one of my old friends in Australia died from a seizure caused by withdrawal from them

Yea but when you're lot lizard app sells millions you'll have no prob paying more and on time lol.

Flip phone? Really?
bro why not. my wife sat on my last phone and broke it

I didn’t have acute withdrawals from Valium and the other benzodiazepines I took. I do remember frequently waking up with sudden powerful anxiety like an actual panic attack. And that went on for the longest time. Dislike

Absolutely loving it bro. Plus like you said you can just dial change the dose whenever so I did 3iu one night and I had the highest sleep score I've ever recorded. It's amazing.
bros yeah hgh helps sleep

Ya bro that's the dream for me too. A quiet place with lots of land far away from major cities and people with a big gym.

I love how you said WHEN I'm rich.

That's a winning mentality.

That's my dream too bro! Away from mainstream society and hyper capitalism and reconnect with the earth and live by it's rules.

I love peramaculture and gardening and had a shipping container cabin late 2017 - 2020 in Australia but had to leave when I lost my license for drunk driving coz it was at the top of a 500m high mountain and an hour drive to the nearest train station.

I kept a journal for my garden on instagram at the time then abandoned it when I left, it's here if you're interested:

Damn...atleast it sounds like everything was covered by insurance. Here the insurance companies woulda sued you and you'd be fucked.

Ya I didn't get valium. I didn't get high, I just became a zombie. I only tried it cuz I heard Eminem rap about it lol

Looks beautiful. Wasn't living in a shipping container in Aus unbearably hot tho???

They tried using those things here in Canada but apparently they're tough to keep warm in the winter. I'd assume the opposite in an Australian summer.

Yeah it would be... was 40 degrees a few times bit because it was at the top of a mountain it was about 8-10 degrees below what the temp is at sea level.

I just rented it didn't design or build it. I did the gardens though. Despite how remote it is, it was atcually fully connected to the power grid and everything was electrical apart from my cast iron pot belly stove which I used to cook outside, and it had a composting toilet.

Hah nah, never had insurance for anything in my life. The insurance companies are trying to do that, they just can't find me. I only know coz they keep sending letters to my ex girlfriend's house and she tells me.

Haha fair enough! I've gotten a lot of good ideas from music before myself 😄

Log Day 147

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

Amazing training session yesterday. Surprised I'm still putting up these kinda numbers 4 weeks off peak cycle. Last big push this week then deload next week.

Sleep was a bit off last night but it was worth losing some sleep to help and EVO brother out in a time of possible crisis.

I figured out a way to truly max out my leg extension (Pic below). It actually worked well. Going heavy low reps next mesocycle so single legs from here on out.

Once everything clears u will know you can just feel the difference this is fucking awesome heck of a job man 💪

That’s awesome. Makes me think about the fake test I bought last winter. I must’ve taken it for about five weeks. I didn’t feel much weaker, but there was a point when I knew something was really wrong. I was ok, I could function. But there were no good days. I felt, it’s hard to describe. Like I could feel it in my eyes. I just wanted to close them. And when I posted my first bloodwork here I lowered my dose down to like 100mg I didn’t feel that bad, but I sure didn’t feel that good. Bumping it up to 135 after a few weeks was enough of a bump back up to feel great. I actually haven’t felt any difference from my recent increase and other compounds. And I got weak fast from not lifting. So crazy. I’ve never felt so strong athletically, but I think it’s all just improved skill. Somehow I’ve got to figure out how to keep lifting through the ski season. I don’t know anyone else who does it. I did know one guy who lifted hard through summer. But he was naturally very jacked and he became a pro skier before joining the navy and attempting BUDS with a torn labrum hahaha

How often do u do cycles and what does your cycle look like or what do plan to do on your next cycle?
I finished my cycle a month ago and I'm planning to jump back in probably in the beginning of November. Depends how my bloodwork looks. I'm going in for bloodwork at the end of the month or the beginning of October. Hopefully everything will look good and I'll be ready to go for November.

I think you could train during the ski season if you can make the time. If I were you I'd focus on push training and isolations and keep the volume/fatigue low. Just program some maintenance level stuff like 4 sets a week per body part. That way when you pick back up in the fall you aren't starting from a big deficit.

A lot of lifts are definitely skills, especially the bigger compounds. If you stop doing them your brain takes a while to recalibrate again.

Log Day 149

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

Not much to report from yesterday. Took it pretty easy and had a true rest day. Just focused on getting my steps in and catching up on some office work. Sleep was great last night and recovery has been high all weekend.

Good news is blood pressure seems to have come back down and staying there. Back in the low 120s again.

Nice work bro! always good to take it easy sometimes, Sunday works good for fitting into wider society haha. Going out for a walk is probably my favourite active thing to do overall.

Been meaning to ask you if there is any particular software or apps you recommend for tracking? You seem to have put a lot of thought into it.

I have a fitbit but have to retrieve it from the hoarding pile of an ex girlfriend so I don't think I can get it very quickly and was thinking of trying to log steps with phone for now

Ya a phone does a decent job of logging steps. The fitbits aren't great. I duno about the current generation but the older ones were really inaccurate.

I use a whoop strap and Garmin watch for my tracking. They're both pretty accurate and offer and ton if info and insight into what your body is doing.

Ah true, I didn't even think that might be the case, just assumed they were good enough. I atcually got it to do ongoing heart rate monitoring which was traditionally a pretty tricky or expensive thing to do before.

It was to monitor the side affects from a new medication. I compared the heart rate data from the fitbit to a medical grade one and it was okay. A friend of mine is a pharmacist and owns one with a bunch of sports medicine related stuff and professional scales and devices for blood, heart, etc.

I looked up the Whoop stuff after I heard you mention it in your interview and that looks like some serious next-level shit. Been really interesting seeing your screen shots and data from that.

I want to get raw data from devices in the future, I'm trying to get non-branded sensors and write software myself to process the data. You can get some really cheap sensors from China these days with open-standards to do whatever you like with.

I think there's an under-exploited nitche in data analysis from monitoring devices.

Hard-core garage-science based lifters need try it I think, these companies trying to gatekeep and sell their shitty low-cost junk to the masses don't really know what they're doing and have not even scrtched the surface of the data's potential

Yeah! Hopefully I stay that way hahaha. I haven’t got the capacity to lift enough to do that to myself, but I do some pretty extreme things that I can do. I’m not done yet. I’m 46 and improving greatly at a difficult and dangerous sport with one of the more challenging and dangerous jobs around. I would regret giving up more than I would regret stopping because I have it my all and it was all I had. However, he had reached the pinnacle of success, and I’m just a guy. I like to think I’ll be satisfied at some point.

If you end up making one I'll guinea pig it for you. Then you'd have 2 other trackers to compare it too. 3 for sleeping cuz my bed tracks my sleep also lol.

The new whoop does AFib testing and BP testing. The BP is in a beta phase right now but it's not far off my cuff readings.

Haha that's the thing about success and satisfaction. People who are successful are rarely satisfied. You almost can't be. Especially the greats... those guys are never satisfied.

@BeMe keep on that consistency bro doing awesome work!

Haha that's the thing about success and satisfaction. People who are successful are rarely satisfied. You almost can't be. Especially the greats... those guys are never satisfied.
That’s kind of terrible. I’ve always said I consider myself a success no matter what just because no one thought I was even going to be ok. But I’m more than ok. Well I haven’t ever done anything great but I could have easily sat back and rolled with what I had. And I was miserable. I think I’m overdue to have a… look inside myself

You read my mind. 18 inch arms are one of the midterm fitness goals I have right now.
18" for sure coming :D

At 46 you're just getting started, EVO family supports you, we can take it to the next level :D @toddthelineman

Okay bro rad!

Is there anything in particular they're missing you want, or think should be different? I'm pretty interested in looking into ways for logging sleep too. I'm not gonna give a full live mic/camera feed to a Tech company just for that tho.

It's what Amazon, Google etc are motivated by, getting more data out of us, and fitness tracking is an absolute gold mine of valuable personal data for them to harvest from the general public en mass and they can easily trick most of us into agreeing to it without questioning it.

I've got plans to get more cheap and open-design Chinese hardware as I can afford it, I have a few sensors left from my old van which got stolen but they're for temperature monitoring and smoke/gas detection.

I want to get an already complete pedometer chip that I can just connect to my ardruino or raspberry pi, and same for heart rate and motion, I really just want to put the hardware pieces together and just wear and forget about it, then deal with the data on the other side, from computer code where these days it will be easy enough to make use of it.

We would be able to probe the data and formulate queries in a structured language like any computer database. And since we're recording all this data all the time, over time there's historic data accumulating and we can do some powerful timeline-analysis on it.

Timelineing was the main technique I used when I worked as a digital forensic analyst. For every engagement I'd have to build a timeline of what happened. That's basically what I want to do with the health and fitness data from the Chinese chips.

It's called Timelining in forensics and was pretty much the only technique I needed for the jobs I was doing and there was good toolsets for automaticly doing the analysis and making the timelines for you.

I really think if all this food logging, exercise, medication, gear, sleep, movement, etc data is being recorded automatically, the amount of data that would be piling up would be able to reveal some pretty amazing stuff to us.

I think there is an untapped well for underground lifters in there somewhere. I think it'll help us not get stuck in the weeds and help us grasp the bigger picture and potentially detect patterns or problems too.

Been talking to @HarleyGuy about a few changes in my lifestyle and need to allocate some effort to mental pursuits like learning new programming stuff. I need to have a little bit of Mental, Physical and Spiritual stuff everyday to not get out of balance but often only do one or two.

Sorry about the long reply, I gotta work on not doing that.

Ya bro success is measured in so many different ways. You can be successful in multiple things at the same time even.

But satisfaction I think comes in waves. You're satisfied you hit a goal, but then you're on and after the next one.

No worries on the long message. It's a forum, we're meant to be reading lol.

Honestly I could ask for anymore from my whoop strap. It tracks and provides may more info than I am interested in. It's really a professional level tracker that coaches throw on their athletes. I'm just a regular Joe so I'm following the more standard stuff. I don't to nearly as deep as this thing can go.

It does provide AI coaching and feedback tho on how to improve certain metrics. I think it's integrated with chapgpt.

That's awesome man, I was really interested in learning more after hearing your podcast episode. It's pretty amazing the lengths people go to in professional sports, gotta admire their dedication. Better to have too much data and not use it than too little and need it or miss something IMHO.

I don't really want to go deeper than them in an analysis sense or even to that level, I more want to replace all the commercial, closed, non-programmable devices I have for monitoring steps, heart rate and motion with a DIY solution based on cheap Chinese chips with open designs which are intended to be used in building bigger devices and write my of software for them.

I want the software I write to be simple, but have access to a lot of raw data, and be verbose or detailed only in useful areas, no extra data I don’t need to know be displayed to me.

I will log as much raw data as possible from the sensors/chips into a database, but for the data analysis and what it atcually outputs and shows me, I want that to be just what I need.

I have enough trouble managing things and remembering them so I try outsource what I can to computers or others and just go with the flow.

Having easy access at a glance to that stuff will be useful for me in the gym for sure though. And being to output a report in bbcode so I can just post it into the post box on my log on Evo or in my messages with people would be a useful feature I think.

You're a full-blown badss evo-logger too bro! Your log entires and the screenshots of data you post are awesome stuff bro, I've learnt a lot from them.

And I was miserable. I think I’m overdue to have a… look inside myself

Pretty good you're getting this idea bro, the process kinda blows and you can have a difficult few days or weeks but you only need to go hard-core once and then you just deal with things as they come up in life from there.

In a few weeks after I've sorted out some other stuff I'm going to do a bit of that type of shadow work myself. Karl Jung likened self development journeys to alchemy and that phase as Negredo, the blackening.

When I start doing that I could try and teach you the personal moral inventory technique from 12 step if you like. It's a four-column inventory on paper that looks like a spreadsheet basically, and you only use one or two words or simple statements per box, not write out paragraph-loads of sordid details or anything.

One line per person/event/fear/regret etc, there's a few different main types covering pretty much every type of thing that bothers or affects you and your mental well-being or keeps you from staying on a calm even keel and taking life as it comes and tackling issues as they appear, not despairing about the past or stressing out worrying about the future.

Writing it out it this way makes it possible to spot patterns and see the bigger picture, which is hard to do when you just worry about things one by one in your head then forget about them.

Looks beautiful. Wasn't living in a shipping container in Aus unbearably hot tho???

They tried using those things here in Canada but apparently they're tough to keep warm in the winter. I'd assume the opposite in an Australian summer.
bro how bought living in a cage? sometimes i have to cage myself to get away from wife and pit when they angry at me

Ya I think most people want to keep it simple and just want the most important info. That's why I don't post too too much info cuz most people don't really care.

Log Day 145

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

Back at it again. Can't remember the last time I went 3 days in a row without training. Probably over 3 years ago.

Training was really strong. Starting my 0Rir week and loving it. Still no drop off from coming off cycle.

Sleep was a bit messed up last night. That valerian root may be to blame again. Crazy dreams again. Hopefully tonight it will be outta my system and I'll go back to my normal boring dreamless sleep. I only dream about fighting for my life lol. Rarely do I ever get a good sex dream.

N2BM touchdown today. I think I'm all stocked up and ready for my Tren cycle in the winter. If anyone recommends any other ancillaries I'm all ears.

Log Day 150

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

Yesterday was supposed to be a rest day but I made up the training day I missed. No missed days, especially 0Rir ones, extra especially not my Arnold curls day.

Still making solid progress week to week. I always worry about the 0rir week cuz I push so hard to hit 1rir so there's no chance I'm pussying out. If I hit an addition rep on the 0rir week it's always a big deal for me. I generally push atleast a rep harder than I should be week to week. Better to do to much then not enough in my mind.

Sleep was ok last night. Went to bed early cuz I had to work early this morning. Had to piss 4 times last night!!! Wtfff. Always happens when I need my sleep the most...guess that's life.

Current Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

I want to start my log today but shouting out my brother @Noah Wixx for all the big changes he's making in his life. Everyone should check out his log. He's a true inspiration for all of us.

Sleep was better last night and recovery was decent today.

Even though I'm on a deload week I got a crazy workout at work yesterday. Went in early and came home pretty late and it was a grind. Had to move a ton of material 3 blocks from my truck to a building then carry it up and down stairs. Got over 10k steps just at work and was feeling pretty sore from my neck down last night.

Missed my training yesterday but it's a deload week so I can easily double up tonight.

I've noticed my hair growth has gone back to normal. On cycle I was having to shave everyday but I'm back to every other day now. My appetite has slowed down a little bit. Still higher than before, but no where near as hungry all the time.

That's why I invested in the nair for men that stuff works like crazy, probably not the best for you, man 1 minute on the gair and it comes clean off, way better than shaving the body hair imo.

Sounds like you got plenty of working out at work man even on a deload that sounds brutal.

I appreciate the kind words and being there for me brother more than you will ever know.

My body hair I was having to do every 2 weeks on cycle but usually I just hit it with the clippers once a month. That chemical stuff kinda worries me. I had pretty sensitive skin. I could end up melting lol

Big day there I see you pushing really hard with the 1rir but it's not always 100% waht you need you can stay steady easy :D
and when you go to bathroom a lot during night usually you're dropping water weight. @BeMe
Had to post this dinner. My wife really out did herself. Literally the perfect meal. The fish is fresh Atlantic cod and I had seconds after this plate. Baked sweet potato and steamed veggies.

Yes I can tell you did a hardcore training day but really on the deload no need, try to keep it a bit controoled.
If you are sore, you have access to massage?

Hair down is good shaving is a pain lol

Finally :D you still taking magnesium and zinc/copper pre bed?
Yep I have a mineral supplement 3 times a day (1 before bed) and I'm taking a trip complex magnesium before bed.

Ya I take it pretty easy on my deloads. It was my actual work that did me in yesterday but I woke up feeling fine today. I was just really sore when I got home. Probably stiffened up when I hit the couch to eat.

Ya I have a theragun, foam rollers, and lacrosse balls for massage. I get my wife to hit the hard to reach areas with the gun when necessary

Yes deloads are good and I've seen you do them before.

You got a red light therapy lamp right? @BeMe

Ha ha , yep sure is, crazy I thought it was a universally known word. There you go hey
Ya you'll never here a North American say fortnight unless they're talking about that game. We dropped that medieval language when we rebelled again the Brits lol

Used to have the occasional day like that when I did a more labour intensive job. I'd do maintenance training only then
Usually I'm still good to go but that day was particularly heavy at work. Plus I got home way too late to train. Even eating two meals when I got home was pretty tough cuz they were so close together

Brither you a true workhorse, i could tell this from the very start of your log. Just killing it day after day 🔥
Thanks bro. It's all about consistency for me. Once I have a structure to follow I can just grind as hard as I have to to meet those goals.

During training I'm very anti social. My wife stays away once she hears the stereo crank up. Afterwards tho I'm all good.

Met a ton of great people here. Evo is a special place like no other. Everyone here is all about positivity and supporting eachother. Total opposite of the bodybuilding stereotype too

Log Day 152

So I missed my deload day on Monday cuz work was crazy I had to work so late that I literally didn't have time to train. Barely had time to eat my 2 meals that night and felt pretty stuffed come bedtime.

I made up a missed day last week on Sunday, arm day, so missing an arm day on Monday wasn't a big deal. Usually my deload weeks are really really easy so no biggie.

But yesterday I saw my deload programming this time isn't as easy as usual. Guess cuz I'm only doing a 4 week + deload schedule instead of the usual 6+. Turned out to be a pretty decent workout, didn't feel like a deload at all. It was basically a full body workout and I hadn't done one of those in well over a year. It was pretty fun and I really had a good one.

A little sore today, which probably isn't right for a deload, but ah well. Tonight's workout is hella easy so it's practically a rest day.

I am noticing a bit more muscle soreness creeping back in now that I'm off cycle. A lot of things are going back close to baseline, but performance and weight are still hanging in there and that's all that really matters to me.

Sounds like you handled missing that day fine. Making up arm day on Sunday balanced it out, and since deloads are lighter anyway it’s not a huge setback. That full body push probably woke you up a bit since you hadn’t done one in so long. Being sore on deload isn’t ideal but it happens when the programming shifts. Good sign that your strength and weight are steady even off cycle, that’s the real win. Tonight’s easy session should let you recover and reset. Though I do think reading back you might need to have 2-3 days of rest fully with this. @BeMe
During training I'm very anti social. My wife stays away once she hears the stereo crank up. Afterwards tho I'm all good.

Met a ton of great people here. Evo is a special place like no other. Everyone here is all about positivity and supporting eachother. Total opposite of the bodybuilding stereotype too
I am more of a social guy when I train because I have clients :D but I get you best you train hardcore when you pump it hard!

I got this weekend off before I start up my heavy low rep training cycle next week. Pretty hyped about going heavy again.

Yea I like getting into a totally different mindset when I train. Crank up the metal, get angry and push hard. I think a lot of training is mental. When you're fired up mentally and believe you can do more and go harder you really can. I've trained with the hockey game on in the background and my numbers suffer lol

Ya team sports are great for a lot of reasons. Training with a partner can be fun too but personally I find I work much better alone.
