Log Day 173

Just a light arm day yesterday. My brain overcame the urge to push it. Light weight easy reps.

Bloodwork is in and had my consult with my doc today and everything looks good. The standard markers off because of overtraining which is the norm for me.

Turns out what I thought was low e2 based off the symptoms was really a virus. I guess the low energy, libido, and dry joints was the result of a virus that came with no other symptoms. Today I've been feeling a bit of a chill on and off so maybe my body is still fighting it.

Bloodwork is posted below.

Good call not pushing it, sometimes backing off a bit is what keeps you moving forward long term.
Your creatine levels high though, how much water do you drink per day?
Bloods showing normal e2 levels is solid, and now you know the joint pain and low drive weren’t from hormones but just a virus running you down. Once that clears fully you’ll get energy back quick and the training numbers will climb again. :D @BeMe

Are you talking about my CK reading?

Ya that's always high. Actually that's lower than usual cuz I was injured leading up to that bloodwork and only trained legs. My doc says it's just due to the amount of muscle breakdown I'm causing at work and training in the gym.

I drink a minimum of 6 litres a day, usually more like 7. It's why I pee so damn much lol.

My markers have all bounce back since my cycle finished 8 weeks ago. My last bloodwork I was out of range in a lot of areas. Not terribly bad, but my worst readings ever. I'm happy to see how well my body has bounced back. My doc ordered GGT testing this time cuz my liver values were way up last time and everything is back looking strong again.

You might find this interesting @LevButlerov

I get a full report from my doc showing all my blood markers in chronological order.

July 26 was week 14 on cycle. 300 test, 300 primo, 300 NPP, 30 anavar, 25 Proviron.

Nov. 2024 was the blood test I did 6 weeks after starting TRT at 120mg

Yes CK. Heavy training and physical work will always keep that number elevated, so as long as the rest of your markers are solid there’s no real concern. Water intake at 6 to 7 liters is plenty and helps flush it out, which explains why you’re bouncing back quicker.

Good to hear the GGT and liver values came back in range, that shows your body recovered well after the last run. Elevated numbers right off a cycle are normal, what matters is that they corrected once you gave it time. @BeMe

I think I'm in a good shape to add in the Tren come November.

Would the Tren hinder recovery from a bone graft related to a dental implant? @LevButlerov

I dont think you need tren in nov :D
I think you need light eq that's it.

Yes, tren can slow recovery because it increases inflammation and can put extra strain on healing tissue. For something like a bone graft you want lower stress on the body, so sticking to test or milder compounds is safer until it fully sets.

Make sure to fully recover first
Ya that's what I assumed. The dentist waits 3 weeks for the implant to heal and then they put on the fake tooth. I figured I would wait to start a cycle until that tooth goes on. Knowing this will keep me from getting tempted to start earlier LOL.

Does anyone who isn't competing really need Tren LOL. I'm just really curious and my goal is always lean gains. Tren is the ultimate lean gainer and I'm not getting any younger. I have to know lol.

@BeMe the bloodwork isn't bad. i've seen way worse over time. at the end of the day using gear has the risk factors. but so does the normal north american lifestyle of stress and low quality foods

Isn't bad??? Its pretty damn good isn't it? Give me some credit bro lol.

I'm proned to low HDL, I think it's my Japanese genetics, but my triglycerides are always on point.

Other than that where do you see room for improvement @stevesmi ?

Nice job. Posting blood work. I will not panic about it but you definitely want to be aware of what's going on. But now, you have a basis to go off of going in the future. @BeMe

Bro I'm 40 lol. I wish I was a young guy. The mentality was still the same when I was coming up. Hockey is about as tough of a sport and you can play. Kids playing football can't hit hard yet. When you're little playing hockey you can smoke guys cuz the speed you can build on skates. I got my first concussion when I was 7 lol. Same thing, no such thing as concussion protocols when I played competitively. Only advice was don't look into the bright lights and you're good lol
you are young and a millenial. i'm much older.

@BeMe bros lets be honest. Your blood work looks 100% better than most people's blood work out there, especially those who body build. So, don't be upset.

I think tren is a good one to use here and there. but i wouldn't use it often. i think if you compete 100% you need it though @BeMe

I hate getting lumped in with millennials. My generation really doesn't like that. We're at the top end of that shit and I don't know one guy that acts like or calls themselves a millennial. My generation was the hardest generation there was after the greatest generation. We grew up in the gangster era. The greatest generation went to another country and had to worry about dying, my generation was the gangster generation where people were dying at home all around you.

Naw bro I'm not upset, I'm stoked. I thought my body was still gonna be recovering from my cycle. It's only been 5 weeks since my last taper dose, and technically I was on cycle for 19 weeks including the 3 taper weeks. I was literally shocked how well things bounced back and my doc was really happy. Doc said my cycle was a total success.

Yea I have no plans of competing anytime soon. They say Tren is a young man's compound, so I figured no time like the present to see what it's like. I'm not interested in bulking and cutting and just prefer to lean gain slowly over the years and maintain my physique year round. Tren sounds like the ultimate of the lean gains compounds so let's go. It's on in November.

If you use Tren wisely, not dosed high can be used in older athletes

Ya I won't go high. I got ace so I can slowly titrate up. Gonna start at 25mg ED and feel it out for a week or two. Then 30mg, then 35mg, so on.

🤔I don’t suppose that’s how it was here. You and I are only like five years apart, so you are a very old millennial and I’m a very young gen x. So we’re are basically the same, but there was a stark difference between those younger than me here at home. Like, I went to highschool during the height of the crack epidemic. But before they couldn’t keep things out of the news. Literally shoot outs at school. So that’s somewhat regional, and these things have continued of course, but aaaalll the kingpins of that time were rounded up and imprisoned(where I was). And things changed. Not so out in the open. Much less spill over to people who wouldn’t be involved. And I think that has been the trend throughout the US. Even Chicago proper, as bad as it is to this day, they are not effectively holding out squadrons of police like they used to

Really one large project shut your city down?? They have major crack downs once a month here and it doesn't change anything lol. Maybe it's cuz of the size of my city and the multicultural aspect. We have crews from every part of the world here. Nothing ever changes.

They ran some huge projects when I was in my late teens early 20s wrapping up entire crews that were making a lot of headlines. But all that meant was the guys that were quietly working in the background stepped in and filled the void.

I heard Chicago had like 180 shootings a couple weekends ago...sounds like not much changed there.

I think it depends on what area you are in. Like here in Toronto there are a lot of rich "safe" areas, but they're the ones that get home invaded or car jacked. The hood areas you need to keep your head on a swivel. I went to a hood school which was basically like a prison. My school was part of an area call Jane and Finch which is probably the most famous hood in Canada. I'm sure if Canadian EVO bros from other parts of Canada read this they'll know.

Everything in school broke down by race like prison. I was actually one of the few that could cross cultural borders and be friends with everyone. It helped that I'm mixed race and was the plug for the school lol.

As one of the oldest in the Aussie community. I been treated with a lot of respect, Maybe as have young mindset.
I was shocked when you told me your age. Always figured you were in your mid 40s from our interactions. Keep that mindset bro. You're only as old as you feel

Very true, the change of lifestyle has made a huge difference along side the anti aging peptides

Had a consult with my doc regarding my blood work and I got a glowing review from him. He's aware of my cycle, and saw my bloodwork 14 weeks into my cycle. My comparison of really bounced back well. He's really happy with everything, just wants me to add some glutathione or NAC to my stack. Help deal with oxidative stress. Other than that he's in the "picture of health". Felt pretty good hearing that from a doctor like him. He really knows his stuff and is an ex powerlifter and strongman competitor.

So last night I was gonna train but I was feeling a bit off. Common theme here with the EVO fam, and with my doc, is I'm going a bit too hard and pushing when I should be backing off. I don't know if it's cuz I just had the consult, or I was hearing @LevButlerov in my head, but I decided to take the night off and rest. Today I feel more like myself again and I'm gonna go hard tonight. I'll make up the missed day this weekend.

Maybe there's hope for me yet and I'll slowly become less of a meathead.

The shoulder feels almost all better but the wrist is still being a random pain in the ass. I can work with wrist pain tho, I'm used to it.

That’s solid to hear from your doc, especially one who actually understands lifting and cycles. :D
Adding NAC or glutathione is a small move that’ll keep your markers clean long term, nothing heavy. Though you're stacking on top of n2guard so it's full detox!

Taking the night off was smart too, sometimes backing off one session saves you from a week of nagging issues. Wrist pain sucks but it sounds like you’re handling it and the shoulder bouncing back is a good sign. You’re doing it right when the guy reading your bloods calls you a picture of health mid cycle. @BeMe

I'm saving the N2guard for the Tren cycle. Figure my liver is gonna need it then. I'm still running Tudca at the moment though.

The best part about my doc is he doesn't even blink when he sees my hormone levels. He read them and says "remember these are just numbers on a piece of paper, how do you feel". A GP would freak out if they saw 1600 free test lol.

I've been curious how would you classify me in terms of aromatization? I'm effectively running 250 test per week and in the 1600s free and 132 e2. @LevButlerov

Am I just and average aromatizer?

Nordic Fusion touchdown!

@Fusion Canada is the best! Amazing guy, super fast shipping, incredible service. Then on top of that they have the best quality gear around. Always a great experience!

Got my Tren cycle ancillaries ready to go. All the pieces are in place now.

I would use n2guard now just low dose 2 caps ed, Tudca is not enough.
Your doc sounds like one of the rare good ones, looking at how you feel instead of just chasing numbers, that’s a blessing.
At 250 test with free test that high and e2 sitting at 132, that’s pretty average aromatization, not low but not excessive either. You’re converting enough to keep joints and mood right without spilling into crazy bloat territory. :D @BeMe

Good to know. Helps give me a better idea when comparing myself to others and their stacks when reading all the logs.

I know, that's actually why my name is what it is. It's my first and last initials for my first and last name, but it's also reminder to not get caught up in comparison. Just focus on me and my own progression and admire others instead of comparing.

I just meant for figuring out dosing for stacks it gives me a better understanding of what's possible when I try a certain compound @LevButlerov

Not saying I would copy exactly what someone else is doing but it gives me a range to work in.

If I competed I'd want to give it my all so there's no excuses. I like the idea of competing, even just once to try. But I don't have the time to give it my best. I'm so busy with work is hard just finding an hour per night to train. Maybe in 5 or 10 years I can give it a go when I have more time. @ROIDDERS

I appreciate the support tho bro

bros good just making sure you not freaking out
Naw bro you know me, I'm pretty chill. Been through a lot in life. Takes a lot to freak me out lol. If my wife somehow became pregnant...then you'd see me freaking out lol

Ya between him and the EVO fam I'm really well supported. Honestly if it weren't for both I'd be pretty nervous running cycles. When I do my own research I always worry I'm missing a piece of the puzzle with my laymen interpretation of the facts.

I'm an electrician as you know and I've seen how bad it can go for people with a little bit of electrical knowledge lol. I'd worry I'm that guy with peds.

Wifey has some issues where she can't carry a baby to term. We tried for years but it never worked out. Now we're at a point in life where we're really happy and looking back it was all for the best. If it happened now after nuking my fertility, and at this age...that would freak me out lol. I'm to old to be a newborn baby daddy.

Stranger things have happened. I actually have a half Japanese friend of many years. His dad was a soldier and his mom lived in Japan. She never successfully had kids and was sort of shunned, so she left Japan with my buddy’s dad and got pregnant almost as soon as she left, and she was in her 40s. My buddy and his gf went to prison some years ago and she was stuck raising his newborn baby… at 90 years old!

Good thing Japanese people age really well. A Japanese 90 is like a north American 70 lol

bros why not adopt a teenager. he can grow up to play pro hockey

If I competed I'd want to give it my all so there's no excuses. I like the idea of competing, even just once to try. But I don't have the time to give it my best. I'm so busy with work is hard just finding an hour per night to train. Maybe in 5 or 10 years I can give it a go when I have more time. @ROIDDERS

I appreciate the support tho bro
yeah maybe go watch a few shows

That would be cool but we're pretty settled in our ways now. Life goals have totally changed based on being a childless couple and we have things we're working towards and looking forward too.

Plus we have 2 great dogs, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and another on the way. My wife is a pre-school teacher as well, so we get our fill of kid time without having our own. Kinda the best of both worlds with our situation.

Log Day 174

I’ll just go to the Dominican Republic and he can adopt me from there. I can barely ice skate but I’ll smoke those kids in the little league or whatever hockey calls it. @BeMe whatayasay, dad? I’ll make you rich

Of course they did. I’m going to watch that. A friend of mine was adopted from an orphanage in Eastern Europe. They paid her mom to keep having kids so the orphanage could sell the children all over the world. There’s a lot of them. She was sold to a family near me and they sent her brother with for half price because they were inseparable and he was very very unmanageable. She tracked down a sibling in Spain and one in Texas. But there’s many more. Crazy world full of crazy people

I adopted and American Dominican who's older than me. Sounds like an illegal migration scheme to me and our government lol.

Log Day 175

Had a good training session last night. Progression is coming on my weak right knee. The wrist is still a pain but working around it is no problem at all. The shoulder feels A OK but when I tried going with 60lb dumbbells I could feel a little pain creeping in toward the end of a short set. I was pushing 75s before the injury, so I thought I was taking it easy, but it was a bit much so I backed off.

My brain is learning to overcome the urge to keep driving forward no matter what. The EVO fam has really helped me mature when it comes to my training and injuries.

I've been off the GH now for 6 days and no change in the wrist pain at all. I think it's safe to say it's not carpal tunnel and I'm adding the GH back in tonight. I think this is just one of those nagging tendon injuries I've had in the past. Sometimes it's taken a month or so to get better., so time will be the key here.

Makes sense, that’s a solid way to look at it. Using other logs and stacks as a range helps you see how compounds interact and what kind of response is possible without blindly copying it. That's actually the point of having logs so many EVO brothers can learn from each other :D
That mindset of learning and adapting to your own body instead of comparing to others is exactly how you progress long term! EVO family love and support your way. @BeMe

That's literally the best part about EVO. Sharing and learning through eachothers experiences makes everything so much better. Having fun and supporting eachother through it all. EVO fam for life!

Exactly, that’s what makes the EVO family special. Everyone’s got different goals and experiences, but the support and real talk here keep everyone moving forward. Feels more like a crew than a forum most days. :D @BeMe

I absolutely agree! Everyone has eachothers back.

I threw in a supplement update today up above. Still waiting too see what my doc recommendeds for the NAC or Glutathione, but everything else is listed above. Wondering if you see any holes in my stack @LevButlerov

Looks solid overall, nothing major missing. NAC or glutathione will just fill that liver gap, whichever your doc leans toward. Add your dosages next update so we can fine tune it properly.

Will do. Good to know there's aren't any glaring holes in my stack. I was thinking of adding some vitamin E. None of my multis have it and I saw vitamin C and E work well in conjunction with Glutathione for mitochondrial repair @LevButlerov

Yea I can't just go off feel. I'm way to neurotic for that lol. Need some concrete evidence of what's really going on. Bloodwork every 3 months no matter what and if something is going on maybe some testing in between as well.

That is awesome you have shuch a cool doctor!!

That is so strange who would have thought it was a virus as it didn't act like one
My doc says viruses are actually highly intelligent. My cortisol was kinda low and he said viruses will block the signal to your brain that generates stuff like cortisol in order to weaken your ability to fight them.

Log Day 176

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH IS BACK!

Decided to add the GH back in after my experiment without it showed the GH wasn't causing my wrist pain. My recovery took a giant leap back up again (pic below).

Yesterday was a pretty lazy day. I was going to go mountain biking but then I remembered my wrist is messed up and thought better of it. Took the dogs out for a local trail walk instead. Got my steps up to 11k but all and all I was a lazy bitch most of the day. Got caught up watching Face-off on Amazon which was a behind the scenes if last year's NHL season.

Kept food low to match my level of effort yesterday. Still feeling a little bit off so proper rest was a good thing. I gotta keep telling myself that lol

Good idea adding vitamin E, it pairs well with vitamin C and supports that antioxidant cycle with glutathione. It’ll help recovery and reduce oxidative stress from training or any peptide use. Keep it moderate, around 200-400IU daily is plenty. :D

Good call bringing GH back in since the wrist wasn’t the issue, recovery jump proves it’s working. :D
Lazy day was fine, 11k steps still keeps activity high and rest was needed.
Food adjustment matched output perfectly, smart pacing while you get back into rhythm. Though I think we can start modding macros.

How would you suggest I mod my macros @LevButlerov

Currently I aim for 350P, 120F, 240-359C

I routinely go over on the protein tho. I get hungry lol. I figure it's not a big deal tho having some extra protein.

I just saw an interesting video all the fellow protein kings might be interested in.

Zero chance that’s working for me. I ate more protein than that when I was a child. I have always felt like I really needed it. And fat too. If I tried to eat like him I would be so hangry and bitchy it’s actually pissing me off right now hahaha.

I’m going to eat some eggs and come back to this

Get to around 300-350 grams of carbs and up your fats a bit with protein, see if you can build up some energy :D A light TRT recomp.

So the first big thing… age at least he specified their several times, he is talking about natural lifters. Then, they always have the vegan record holder, but they didn’t get there as a vegan and it’s just a snap shot in time, we don’t know how long they will last.
I ate a ton of meat, ton of protein when I was natural. I had a decent amount of muscle especially considering I didn’t lift AT ALL EVER, but when I did start lifting I didn’t get a lot bigger until I had the hormones in place to use all that protein

AND, it’s always with the studies, but stop and think about just how weak or weakly explained those studies were. “This amount of protein or this amount. Lifted, or didn’t lift” like ok, we know one person can eat a porterhouse every night and look one way, and every other person can do the same and look every other kind of way. Same with lifting. We go to a gym, we see people that neeeeevvvvvvver change. For years! And it can happen to us. And you can change one thing, and maybe that’s the one thing that launches you forward, but we doing usually see that happen, we need EVERYTHING in place to get consistent and continuous gains. So saying that more protein doesn’t make more gains is like saying cars won’t get you to work because you have your teenager JUST THE WHEELS lmao. Thanks dad. I need an engine, seats, body, gas, insurance

Ya I felt the exact same way when I saw the video. You literally read my mind with all the questions you raised. I feel like we should do a protein king reaction video lol.

Just logically it makes zero sense at all.

I was the same when my protein intake was pretty low. I was eating about a g per lb, maybe a little less, powerlifting 4 days a week, zero size gains. My strength was going up but I couldn't put on a pound. As soon as I upped my protein to around 200-230isg grams a day the scale started moving a tiny bit. I was natty then with low t tho.

Log Day 177

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH prebed

Yesterday was another rest day. Got my steps up to 10k and just did some work around the house all day.

One thing interesting to report is I tried 10mg of Cialis to see what it was all about. Jesus the Nordic Fusion Cialis from @Fusion Canada is fukn powerful!

Went strong with the wife before bed last night, woke up to pee in the middle of the night and had a serious rager again. Woke up this morning and it's there again. Started getting ready for work and it's back lol. Started thinking this might be a problem at work today. Thankfully all good. Felt like I was 14 again tho. Bout to train now and it's arm day. Looking forward too seeing what the pumps are like.

Also I got my lowest BP reading in 6 months this morning. This is all just from 10mg at 5pm yesterday. Nordic Fusion Cialis is the truth!

makes zero sense at all.
When you are super strict carnivore, none of the meat that you eat goes to waste. It’s a little annoying, because you poop like a couple pellets, and that’s just the stomach lining that you burn through daily. It’s like bobcat scat or something. It’s not very satisfying, but you really appreciate it after a while. Never bloated, never fart EVER, barely need to wipe, never urgent. It’s a really different way to live.

So where does it go? It liquefies in your stomach and is broken down into simple proteins and makes its way through your body. Doesn’t matter how much you eat. At least wild predators eat some bone and hair for bulk I guess😂.
I don’t figure that every single gram of meat goes directly to your muscles. It goes everywhere, like hair and bone and teeth and finger nails. And some really inefficient amount of it is used to make energy.
Cialis from @Fusion Canada is fukn powerful!
Hahahaha. I’m proud of you.
10mg of Cialis
I usually take the tiniest nibble I can off of a 20mg Indian pharma Cialis , like 2 or 3 mg. 10mg is like, I’m really trying to impress myself lol. I can’t do it during ski season because the chicks climbing on me… it gets awkward hahaha. But you are like me being very sensitive to it so don’t ever take Viagra unless you only plan on doing one thing and not going anywhere for at least 24 hours. The NRBs come out of nowhere

Strong response from the Cialis and your BP drop confirms it’s working as intended. Pumps will be intense on arm day today so sip some carbs intra workout to keep fullness high and avoid cramping. @BeMe

Keep the test and GH protocol steady at 70 mg EOD and 2 iu prebed since both are in a safe, balanced range. That reaction shows your system’s sensitive, so stay with 5 mg Cialis imo eod. @Fusion Canada is top gun!
