help on control cravings

Hi guys, I was a heavy smoker and thank god I quit, with profesional help and therapy, the problem is that I gained
about 25 lb since I quit. I started training to try to lose weight but for some reason I get even more hungry
after training, by any chance do you know any special diet for this situation? thank you.
 
Here are some tips for dealing with hunger

1. Hot drinks help immensely with hunger. Especially green tea.

2. Carbonated drinks add volume to your stomach and make you feel full. I drink perrier constantly when pre-contest dieting.

3. Stay busy. If you are constantly occupied you won't noticed how hungry you are.

4. Mindfully eat. Don't eat while on the computer or infront of the television.

5. Caffeine greatly cuts appetite -> be careful with this one. Too much caffeine will burn out your adrenal glands and raise cortisol levels

6. Supplement with 10g psyllium husk before bed. Psyllium husk is a soluble fibre and gels up in your stomach, leading to an increased feeling of satiety.
 
whenever you crave something just tell yourself you will get it tomorrow. then tomorrow will come and you won't even want it anymore

also remember hunger isn't what you think it is.. hunger is the body detoxing.. we are taught as kids by our parents to eat when we are hungry.. that is great as we are growing as children.. but as adults we are not growing anymore, so hunger should be something we embrace. you aren't a child anymore, so learn to disregard it
 
People blame quitting smoking for huge weight gain but it really only accounts for a small portion. No different than if you stop drinking coffee. It only takes a short time for metabolism to level out. Most of the weight gain is because you are filling your time by eating instead of smoking. If you notice you are eating a lot more then just be careful to choose a lot of raw veggies as snacks. Very low calorie and very high nutrient content.
 
Are you thinking about to control, carving? If so, then you should take juice cleanse which gives you a unique profile of nourishment with essential nutrients as well as keep your cravings under control.

Which is easier said then done. This is one of those things that is very mental and requires mental strength.

Get into good habits. This is a mental struggle. Get off sugar. Once your body stops craving shit, it will fix itself.
Learn to embrace the hunger.
