You lost a lot of muscle from the long duration cardio sessions and low calorie diet you were on. Low duration cardio is not the best option for bodybuilders. It basically tells your body "hey we need to be lighter so we can move faster and easier to do all this cardio". Add in a low protein diet and you are bound to loose muscle.

You will regain the lost muscle back fast once you cut out the cardio and start eating more again. Be patient. The muscle will come back but it will take 1-2 months. Continue to train hard and eat a high protein diet to rebuild all the muscle you lost.

The formula is as simple as @Muskate says - stop the cardio, eat more, and keep lifting weights. As a result, it won't take much time to recover your weight. Once you do so, you might consider doing another cycle. In the meantime, focus on eating more and keeping the training sessions on.

I doubt he will go back to his cycle weight, but he can reach something midway.

And then when you consider another cycle, dont decide to go on another starving trip straightforward. When you end your cycle, thats when you have to maintain your gains the most

you need to workout more daily and keep the diet banlance, never depend on gears only and keep doing it you may recover and gain it back

i've always gotten sick when travelling as well. to bodybuild you have to be in a stable and consistent environment.

i wouldn't panic at all, just go back to grinding and the gains will come back.

i think your life experience was well worth it and to put that on the side over bodybuilding is extremely stupid, so enjoy life and its adventures and don't sweat it

Just hammer away at training and your diet and you will get some gains back. You will not get 100% of them because you are now off cycle but I bet you can get at least 50%-80% back to where you were.

What an awesome experience.

We learn from our experiences....next time you do something like that you will be better prepared.

I travel a lot and each time I get better and better at it.

working n working hard again, finding my rhythm n pump back,1 thing i ve noticed there is improvement in lean muscle mass, they are toned n growing but i dont saw much improvement towards body weight though i gained 3-4kgs but it stopped now, although im upgrading my daily calories too,i wana ask is it possible to gain lean mass n tone without gaining weight?
