Approved Log My Deca/Testosterone/Anavar/HGH recomp-cutting cycle Log

Crumble Cake

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Here is my recomp/cutting cycle for the next 14 weeks or so.

Cycle: 12-14 weeks give or take
Test: 500mg per week
Deca: 400mg per week
Anavar: 80mg per day (8-10 weeks)
HGH: 3-4 I.U per day
Metformin: 2000mg per day
T4: 150mcg per day
Arimidex: 1mg EOD
Nolvadex: 10mg per day

Stuff on hand and use occasional: Letrozole, Exemestane, Caber, Cialis

So I've been blasting since the summer, started getting spicy nipples, found a nice almost marble size lump behind my right nipple (the pierced one). I hit it pretty hard with exemestane/arimidex as well at 20mg of Nolva every day. Completely gone so that's good news.

Supplements for protection of Liver/Kidneys:
Tudca
Astragalus
NAC
Liv 52 Nitro+
Fish Oil

History:
I've been into bodybuilding since I was 15. It's been an on and off love affair. Over the last year a few life changing events. Jan 1, 2024, boozed up, coked up, by myself, thinking, wtf am I doing with myself. Made a New Years rez to quit drinking and drugs and get my life in order. I've been clean from hard drugs, and I've had a total of 8 drinks all year. I've bulked up quite a bit over the past year. Started off at 196 and pretty fat, got down to 170, then started bulking around July. My arms, back shoulders and chest have really blown up. I think I put 2 inches on my arms currently at 16 inches.

Goal:
To get down to single digit body fat. I estimate that I am around 17% give or take. I really hold body fat, mostly around my love handles. I will start with a 2000 calorie diet and adjust for there.

Notes: Getting a fit watch and a tripod for my phone on tuesday. I plan to start getting in 10,000 steps a day, and I'll be able to take some WAY better pics soon.

Welcome into the evo community 😎 💪

Just a couple of things i noticed and just some general questions i had, not trying to come off as harsh, few things i noticed that i wanted to point out or bring up, we are all here to help everyone, so dont lolk at it is a negative, its just me trying to understand you and get to know more about you, that way i can hell better long term.

Why Adex and Nova what is the reasoning behind that ? Personally not a fan of the use of metformin in here either it can blunt muscular growth/endurance.

I think you have to much stuff on hand why letro that is a suicide inhibitor and for extreme use cases only, with a proper AI does of Adex you shouldn't ever need letro. As long as your gyno is fully gone, good to have on hand but definitely dont deploy it until worse case.

Blasting since summer ? So youve continously been Blasting from summer into december no breaks or downtime at all in-between ?

If you are estrogen se sensitive which you could be, already fighting gyno once, why 500mg of test and 400 decca that's a good amount of estrogen conversion utilizing those two compounds at those doses.

When cutting id rather see dryer compounds used, of course you can cut on anything, some compounds are just better for the job, and alot of it is diet related and keeping it in check.

Id adjust somethings personally

Test 300 a week
Primo 300 a week
Var 50mg a day
GW50156 20-30mg a day
N2Guard ( instead of liv52 )
( pick adex over nova imo not both )
( Hgh and the rest look good for the cycle imo and id keep those in )

also at 49 or any age for that matter 29 sets on shoulders is extreme overkill and not needed for cutting or for frakth phases, shoulders are fragile one wrong move its game over. I wouldn't contiune volume like this long term, for shoet blocks of a few months you should be fine, id suggest you add in alot of dynamic stretching and foam rolling along with deloading phases backing off the volume giving the body a rest.

Welcome to the big EVO family @Crumble Cake happy to have you here bro :)

Your pics look great, you got a tight muscle base, real legit bro, strong shoulders and arms and big wide pump there, lean too btw.

Good job, quitting the drugs and the booze that's gonna help you get your goals.

I'm hoping we can see some big results out of you on this one.

You have room to improve, I would like to see you, lean out mostly and get more thin around, the waist. That would be huge.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of possibilities you have here.

The supplement list looks fantastic.

test, primo, var, gw would be good together.

but i think your stack is good too.

You are really thick, 49 years old and 5'9", 200 lbs.
You got some good muscle mass on your frame. I think you should lean out.

These workouts look, fantastic. Five sets is perfect.

And you're pushing things. Six sets, even on the incline bench. Wow.

Beautiful start to this log, man.

Don't forget to get some pictures of your meals as well. We want to see what you're eating.

So... when my nippies were getting spicy, I panicked thinking that my aromasin was fake, so i order pharma grade aromasin and letro as well as got ugl adex. I figured it never hurts to have extra on hand. Ya, I could stop the nolva now I think, I did work it down to 10mg's a day. So I'll stick with the Adex eod and see how that goes.

With my training, I was more of a into HIT training, but after a few months of that it was time for a change. For the volume training, nothing goes to failure or rarely does. Just lots of sets, 1min -1.5min rest and smash out another set. I'm going to give it another month before I drop back and increase intensity again then rinse and repeat. This style of workout has been the best on my joints and overall muscle soreness so far.

Reason for the odd cutting cycle:
1. Canada post went on strike, so my package (test, primo. EQ) got held hostage for a month.
2. I have been running test/primo since the summer (primo was as high as 600mg per week, but hair started shedding too much)
3. Tired of pinning 3+ times a week

I would add in the eq or the primo, but I'd like to see how I react to the deca first

Yes, your right, diet is KEY!!!! This is going to be one of my main focal points and really zone in on how my body reacts to my diet changes.

So goal this week, is to get locked in and then go from there.
bro nice big man stack.

but where the tren?
In the garbage!!! No joke. I was on a path leading straight to jail. So I tossed that shit out and never looked back. Never again!

@Crumble Cake I like your volume bro its perfect
more volume = more growth for you and breakdown
you push the volume you enjoy

@RoidRage69 has is own goals, hes a powerlifter, and you got your own goals which is much different, so you need more volume
Jay cutler training is legit bro
lets keep going this way
especially supersets

how bad are your nipples now bro? how you doing?
Good good, I had a small half sized marble behind my right nipple, used nolvadex at 20mg a day and bumped up the A.I and it was gone in like a month or so. I didn't stop or cut back my cycle either.

Ya, if you got any kind of lump behind the nipple jump on the Nolvadex asap!

So, here's the plan, I am going to continue doing the above workout and increasing the volume week by week. I have KneesOverToes guy's knee workout, that should get me to ZERO pain and strong ass knee's very fast. So I will follow his program and hopefully be squatting soon enough. Fingers crossed! If not, I have can book an appoint with Physio.

Decided to hit the gym for my second time today, because lets face it, tomorrow is going to be fucking crazy at the gym!!!! Well I got to the gym at 3:20pm to find out they close at 4pm and ya it was busy busy, but I powered through a pretty quick workout.

OK, TOMORROW is when my cut officially starts. I will do up my before pics! I got my smart watch and I plan to get 10,000 steps in for my cardio. Also going to add in GW501516 at 20mg per day. Also got some clen coming as well.

To all the guys that have quit drinking, I have mad respect for you!!!! Thank you :)
waiting for the new day of the cut bro ;) EVO family here for you

and you got me bro I was drinking like crazy and quit, true alcoholic, had some deep issues inside but been dry for many many years. Most guys I know recovered or recovering. No shame in it, and even no shame in drinking if you know the issue and are trying to change your life.
EVO family is a support community with love and no judgement no matter the path a person chooses. :)

Bicep curl and one arm pull down our solid training session.

You can go high volume, no problem.

Just cycle it here and there. You don't want to end up overtraining.

Really depends on how much weight you're doing on volume.
powerlifters hate high volume, but that is their thing.

Great back-to-back sessions that you put in there, my man.

That shows some good dedication for sure.

Looking forward to following you on your cut.

This is going to be very fun to do.

I keep my heart rate above 100 BRM throughout the whole workout by taking 60 sec rest between sets. If I feel my strength is going to be a factor for the next set, I'll take 90 sec rest or drop the weight.

Plus 30min slow/med pace walk on the treadmill avg 106 BPM. So just over 2 hour workout.

Starting pics are always the hardest to take. Very humbling.

Good leg workout, no pain. I can't preform any type of push movement without sharp left knee pain. So three times a week, I am following https://www.youtube.com/@TheKneesovertoesguy program too build bullet proof knees!

I hope to be squatting and leg pressing soon enough.

Hit my 10,000 steps yesterday, an will hit it again today. Bodyweight is already coming down, but usually the first week it's mostly water weight and the body adjusting to the new diet. All good!

Oh, the anavar is starting to kick in, my strength and numbers are going up with ease at the moment.

@Crumble Cake anavar is kicking for sure, but with anavar did you start n2guard? you need cycle support for organs its a must for the liver and kidneys.

Also you're doing large volume, did you increase protein macros?

Question 1: Nope, n2guard is not within my budget. I take LOTS of supplements every day, with a main concern of liver and kidney health, I am covered.

Question 2: How can I, I am trying to eat in a deficit to lose body fat. Currently starting at 2000 calories a day.

Oh lets see, got to the gym for 7am, and they forgot to schedule someone to open the gym, so that's always fun, sitting in a parking lot for 1/2 hour waiting.

Had a great workout, was doing crunches and on set 4, my abs just LOCKED UP, super cramp from hell, I had to slowly try to stretch out till it released. Wow, never had that before. I usually add pink himalayan salt to my pre-workout but I forgot. And I think I over did it on the stim preworkout. Been drinking more coffee then usual as my tolerance has gone up, so I need to do a reset, and take a break from caffeine, which is always NOT FUN.

Question: Any advice or tips on dealing with bicep tendonitis in the shoulder? Just looking for a good stretching program I can use to work out this slight tendonitis I have been feeling the last few weeks.

@Crumble Cake you had a great chance to mediate in the park........

That's too much volume for your age and size imo. Increase the weights by 10% and cut total sets in half. With your current cycle you should be increasing weights on your lifts by 3-5% each week.

Ya my man, I'll be getting back to that style of training. Right now I am enjoying seeing how far I can push the volume. I will say, that I am much more functional and way less DOMS. Still get DOMS but it's a little muscle soreness, where as when I go to failure for less sets, I get extreme muscle soreness, so sore it wakes me up in the middle of the night just aching.

Question 1: Nope, n2guard is not within my budget. I take LOTS of supplements every day, with a main concern of liver and kidney health, I am covered.
Health is the biggest thing on cycles, so organ liver support with cycle support is a must, which supplements do you take for organs liver kidneys? please share

You need more protein to retain a positive anabolic environment (nitrogen balance) to retain muscles as you cut.
You should be about 220 grams of protein 100 grams of carbs and closer to 80-90 grams of fat.
Deficits shouldn't caloric only, and calories not the most important factor to lean out.

Also did 30 walk on treadmill at end of workout for 5k steps

Just looking for a good stretching program I can use to work out this slight tendonitis I have been feeling the last few weeks.
the cramp is from not enough electrolytes and taurine and minerals and cycle support. If you have a preworkout, you should have a proper cycle support to be fair.

the tendonitis, you need to use foam rollers and try to do more yoga.

the training is actually good, this is the volume you need BUT not for shoulders, this kind of volume is for big bodyparts not small ones
you should cut each exercise to 3 sets and spend the extra time you have doing cardio to lean out

So, first off, lets talk about N2Guard, obviously the owner of this forum also owns this supplement, I am sure it's a great supplement but IMHO, it's overpriced. For me as a Canadian to purchase 1 bottle (a 1 month supply) after converting it into Canadian dollars is $175.

Really doing this Log isn't for me. DONE

@Crumble Cake if you're so angry and negative, thats not Canadian style, you never been in a community as supportive as us, and as much love as the EVO family but all families make mistakes and take wrong turns bro, so you feel that us asking you about your supplements is a "drop the mic" moment? like thats it you'll storm out

thats fine but seems you spending on multis vitamins and tudca and live 52 like you would be on n2guard but thats fine not required
why you hating so much? we just trying to make a suggestion for a better product
and you said the owner of the forum owns n2guard, yes you're correct, the owner of the forum owns all sponsors you see on top of the page bro lol including the ones that started before EVO was around

just since you're a newbie here, n2guard and n2bm have been around since 2008 on Elitefitness not on EVO and they do support EVO family and sponsor so we do promote them obviously, its not a secret, like its open AF we talk about it all the time, im on n2guard myself and so are all the mods, look at blood work from @Noah Wixx how good his alt/ast/creatinine and other bloods were with n2guard use
and its a fact n2guard is made for cycle support and is a better option than most and costs pretty much the same as you would get the 41 ingredients

anyways im on a rant mode today bro
would hate to see you leave as you really do need to log to get better gains, checked your log you need to make multiple adjustments Keto style

@Npcclassicphysique champ isn't wrong at all, these bloods got pulled dec 23 had been utilizing n2guard for around 2 months at that point in time, if you look at other support supplements alot are in the 50-80 dollar range for all in one products, something that is catering with gear usage will always be sold at a more premium price point because of all the ingredients packed inside to help you out, as you can see all my stuff is super in range. Im not here to sell you on anything you are your own man and make your own decisions, i was just tagged in this, so i figured id post up my bloodwork showing the claims for n2guard, all i used was 7 caps a day 7 days a week of n2guard for my support supplements at the time.
