Hey folks I’m 49yo male, 5’11” 185lbs. Can anyone reccomend a good starting platform regiment? What, when, & dose? I’m new to all this & since I’m older male I’m sure my test e is low. I also want to bulk up some. Also, Will muscle memory still work for me since I was bigger when I was younger & worked out. Appreciate any advice. Thanks
 
I think you need to go see a doctor and perform a full blood panel first before starting an drug regimen.
Secondly, in the mean time I think you should read up on more on first cycle advice threads on here when choose what to cycle first and how much.

I agree with allot of what's been said above.

Muscle Memory will work to a certain degree.
Getting your Training down and a Good Diet along with it, is where you need to start.

If you don't have Insurance, and would still like to get some Bloodwork done.

You don't want to start a Cycle, until you have been Training again for awhile.
And your Body Fat Percent isn't higher than 12 or 13%.
As the Higher your Body Fat, the more Sides, and the more Strain on your Overall System.
 
Did my first cycle at 49. Test levels were low so I went for 500 mg of test a week with Anavar for 8 weeks continued the test through 12 weeks. Worked great. But I had been training for most of my life and nutrition is solid. Read a lot and get all ancillary prior to cycle. You will need aromison to keep estrogen levels down. But first blood work and training/ diet on point.
 
10-4 thanks. I’m going to make appointment this week and get lab work. I’ll be back after that prob with questions. My diet is good, a lot of tuna, turkey, protein shakes etc. & my w/o routine is good. I basically wanted to know if I’m to old to be stepping into this steroid side for about 6 months... maybe a year. I wanna muscle up pretty good over this next year and then only workout to hopefully keep what I gained.
 
visit gyms in your area and find one that you like.. maybe get a 10 day pass or something to test out the environment.

get on a good workout program. a simple one is a 3 day split.

get your diet clean and run a deficit daily.

be CONSISTENT. it is hard to do but you can do a log on here so we can keep you in line
 
Everyone hits a plateau eventually. THATS when you add in the steroids.

Right now - you are going to make AWESOME gains by just getting on a proper diet and training program. Milk those gains. When you hit a plateau, that's when you add in steroids. You keep progressing for a long time that way.

If you start a steroid cycle right now, what will you do when you eventually plateau? By saving the PEDs for later, you keep all your aces in the hole and will be able to keep progressing for the long term.
