THAT ONE SONG

What's that one song that when it comes on you just transform into a savage beast? That one song that only comes on your 5000 song playlist once in a blue moon but it just flips that switch in your brain? I have one...

[CAUTION - Song may cause your rectum to turn inside out]

If you could....post up your #1 banger that just takes you to the next level. I think we all could use some new ballads to lift to.

***If you're one of those old-school "I don't need music to lift." type people....this thread isn't for you....nor is this world, because you are clearly a sociopath.

For me I’d have to say Disturbed - Awaken, for a second I’d say Seether - Out of my way.

I do like lots of different music but for some reason that one song gets me going.

Thin Lizzy's The Boys Are Back In Town.

Given my love of Disturbed and Seether, those two songs work for me, too.

Keep them coming boys....Daddy needs to replenish his playlist. [emoji16]

Eddie!!!!! I love it. I’ll be out in SOCAL early next year with my wife as her family is all from there. I will bend you over for that recommendation. [emoji6]

Well that certainly removes all the mystery surrounding the reason why I made such a recommendation. :-)

Where in SoCal is your wife from?

- - - Updated - - -

Okay.
Don Ho’s “Tiny Bubbkes”?

“Tiny Bubbkes”?
Duh, my name is "Eddie"!
That should have read "Tiny Bubbles."

Oh, that's right, you and E live in Hotlanta. Now I recall.
Wow, that's quite the change for girl from San Berdo'.

Tell her that I dropped "San Berdo', too. She otta' get a kick out of that, too.

Be well, bro.

I'm out! I'm out! I'm out!

Hell yea - I too dig the Pantera, Slipknot, Hatebreed, A7X - the aggressive heavy stuff. I also like a little known band called Scars of Life. Their music speaks to me.

The unplugged and live versions, awm!

...holsehot.

What happening here is two men bonding over great music!

Shit... there are so many songs lol. However, I have two choices that drive me nuts during a workout:

Megadeth - Holy Wars... The Punishment Due

Judas Priest - Painkiller

Tupac - hit em up

Avenged Sevenfold's "Burn It Down"

...with a holseshot!
A7X will go down as my favorite band of all time. All the way up until their "Hail to the King" album they were great. I even liked the "Nightmare" album they did with Mike Portnoy on drums after Jimmy died. Their new stuff is just radio garbage unfortunately.

Don’t be bullied, AWM!!!! [emoji6]

Hahaha I am an 80s baby so love my 80s music so that’s not a lie!

Having played sports all my life I’ve also an affinity for rap music.

Classics like 2pac - ambitions as a rider or new stuff by guys like techn9ne get me going too.

I can listen to anything though that has a good best. Pop, country, rock, etc.

Best = beat

Hey, listen to everything from A to Z, too - from Anthrax to Zeppelin! (insert sign-of-the-horns-gesture emoji). :-)

...holeshot!

This really depends on my mood! Sometimes it’s rap and other times rock but lately since my trip to Aruba I’ve been jamming out to dance type music that they were playing in Aruba! Kinda makes me wanna dance during rest period. Lol

I knew you’d like that one, sub_squoch.
Hey, I lost track of the thread in which you stated that you are 5’7” and 180. Might you recall which dread it is in?
"What's everyone's training look like" --- I think that was the thread title.

Now that is a CLASSIC.

Oh yeah, shredsters, the awesome voice of Whitfield Crane; as tenor-y As He Wants To Be.

And, of course, there is Ugly Kid Joe's "Goddamn Devil."

"...I'm the Goddamn Devil, this job pleases me
I'm the Goddamn Devil, and I do it for free..."

Cutler and Yates didn’t need music for motivation. Countless other pros I’m sure. If you need music to motivate yourself to push hard, you might have to question your metal strength or why you’re there in the first place [emoji1] I understand it, especially if there’s a lot of annoying people around, but I don’t think it’s a necessity [emoji106]

If you don’t like music or music while you work out, then that is your choice. Awfully pretentious to assume lack of mental strength if some of us enjoy music while training. Take that shit somewhere else.

You know it, EH. [emoji6]

Lmfao. If people get pumped up from music then they need to question their motivation? Is that a joke? And what on earth does cutler, yates or anyone else have to do with anything and more than that, who fng cares? This post is comedy

Huh? I'm confused ... probably because I'm old. But here I am nonetheless.

Slow-mo leg days huh? I’m not entirely sure I have EVER experienced one of those. I will most definitely be on the lookout for one of those unicorns though.

Yea that's kinda what I was thinking! Now the day AFTER leg day is sloooooo mooooooo for sure

Now I understand the context of Dylan's comments:

Oh please.

This thread's OP did not write anything about motivation nor the lack thereof. And I don't need music in order to motivate myself to lift any more than what I need, say, my yummy, sugar-free caramelized onions to motivate me to eat the five to seven meals that I consume each day. It's just a very nice addition. A'ight?

Late to the game more often than not lately, my friend.

Wow, I remember my having seen those guys at the Whisky back like 2002. They brought down the entire a Go Go.

Thanks for the reset, sub_squoch.
I'm a Cory Taylor freak so I dig anything Stone Sour and Slipknot. Such a talented person!
