We have some changes to cardio as of Thursday:
Steps increased from 12K to 15K
35mins stairmaster *dropped*

Same as last weeks post I feel like this lighting does me no wonders haha makes me look horrible 😂 however we can definitely see I am flat but leaning out. Noticeably leaner glutes and quads this week.

Sent these photos to coach this morning and we will be running the first high carb day of prep tomorrow.
Adding 1 cup cookies jasmine rice and 20g dates to meals 1,2,3.
Pre workout and post workout meals adding 8 rice cakes with 1tsp honey on each rice cake. Plus 20g dates.
Keeping protein and veg sources and amount the same.

I’m really keen for this, should bring back some fullness which I’m looking forward to, plus a juicy pump training pull day tomorrow. Then hopefully will also help the weight keep moving down

Will be getting some photos for coach post workout tomorrow to see how the body responds to this so will post in here for you all too!

You look good @Reece but I would add aromasin now, try to get it because you need to harden up a bit imo.
 
With pin Test E every day? Any benefit?
Even though it’s a long ester brother they still have dips and valleys. The more stable your levels the less aromatision leading to water etc

Majority of pros pin daily even in off season. I’ve just always stuck to EOD so I don’t have to do it so much haha but might just do it for this last month

Might only make the slightest of difference but hey anything we can do to improve the look without adding more gear right

Then he thinks we will likely try another high day next week so we can see how long after the high day is my best look and aim that for show day

On Monday (day before these fasted photos were taken) we ended up doing the same high carb day as last week which was a cup of cooked jasmine rice added to meals 1, 2 and 3. Then rice cakes and honey added to pre and post workout meals. But I got a bit carried away… after the gym for my last meal I grabbed a burger and chips from decently clean place, but also smashed some banana bread on the way home 🤦‍♂️

So look very full in these photos but definitely spilled. Front double and side chest filled up the most, plus quads in the front shots like ab & thigh and most muscular.

I will say both my pull session which was on the high day, and my push session the day after had good energy, strength and pump. But definitely noticed the extra food in my stomach when bracing hard

Back to the dig hard now for say the next 12 days before we hit peak week and start to reduce activity and start filling up with food

I definitely agree with the feet soreness brother. I noticed when I had 35mins stairmaster plus 12K steps yep my feet were tired getting into bed each night. But now they’re good to go with the slight reduction

what is the reason for only taking carbs around a workout? is it to deplete the carbs away from it? @Reece just wondering the idea
Hey brother, more so we can pull out as many cals as possible while still keeping energy and recovery for training. So like during the day I can slug out the no energy, but I want energy for my training haha can’t slug that out. Then post workout is also my dinner so the little bit of carbs in that will actually help sleep aswell as recovery post workout

That's typical TKD style, very smart move to stay lean and have training energy. :D
 
I definitely agree with the feet soreness brother. I noticed when I had 35mins stairmaster plus 12K steps yep my feet were tired getting into bed each night. But now they’re good to go with the slight reduction

Post high carb day

Fasted bodyweight: 97.4kg (up)

On Monday (day before these fasted photos were taken) we ended up doing the same high carb day as last week which was a cup of cooked jasmine rice added to meals 1, 2 and 3. Then rice cakes and honey added to pre and post workout meals. But I got a bit carried away… after the gym for my last meal I grabbed a burger and chips from decently clean place, but also smashed some banana bread on the way home 🤦‍♂️

So look very full in these photos but definitely spilled. Front double and side chest filled up the most, plus quads in the front shots like ab & thigh and most muscular.

I will say both my pull session which was on the high day, and my push session the day after had good energy, strength and pump. But definitely noticed the extra food in my stomach when bracing hard

Coach has informed me we will be running a high carb day as of Monday (peak week)

As of tomorrow (Monday, peak week) we will start carbing up

50mg Winstrol added per day (split 25mg AM and PM) as of this morning, just for these last 7 days leading into show. It’s only going in so late because wasn’t originally in the plan, but my mate had some left over that he was willing to give me and got approval from coach so even though it’s only 7 days worth, still could help the look slightly and didn’t have to pay for it

Finished my last day of work on Friday, now have 2 weeks off. This has honestly dropped heaps of stress by itself and I’ve actually had far better sleeps over the past 3 nights. Really surprised me as to how much better they have been from a drop in stress. Which is great because that’s exactly what coach wants to focus on leading into comp is dropping stress

Finished my last hard quad day on Saturday (7 days out) and it was great, maintained all strength numbers on the main lifts, only drop was at the very end of the session the leg extensions had a one rep drop on each of the three sets (maintained same weight) due to being on the low carb depletion days these last couple days. But I was hoping I held up my numbers on everything else and mainly the hack squat

I’m thinking over this last week I will do daily posts for you guys just to keep you updated in terms on what changes are happening to the plan as it’ll most likely change daily. In terms of escalation of carbs, reduction in steps, reduction in training, what day we will stop all injections, if anything changes with orals once injections are pulled, and also how the body is responding each day filling up and drying out.

12K steps per day

Changes to cycle:
50mg Winstrol added per day (split 25mg AM and PM) as of this morning, just for these last 7 days leading into show. It’s only going in so late because wasn’t originally in the plan, but my mate had some left over that he was willing to give me and got approval from coach so even though it’s only 7 days worth, still could help the look slightly and didn’t have to pay for it

Finished my last day of work on Friday, now have 2 weeks off. This has honestly dropped heaps of stress by itself and I’ve actually had far better sleeps over the past 3 nights. Really surprised me as to how much better they have been from a drop in stress. Which is great because that’s exactly what coach wants to focus on leading into comp is dropping stress

Finished my last hard quad day on Saturday (7 days out) and it was great, maintained all strength numbers on the main lifts, only drop was at the very end of the session the leg extensions had a one rep drop on each of the three sets (maintained same weight) due to being on the low carb depletion days these last couple days. But I was hoping I held up my numbers on everything else and mainly the hack squat

Weight is dropping right on track and holding strength through that last quad day is a good sign. Adding in the winstrol for this final stretch should give a little extra polish even if it’s only a week’s worth. Stress being down and sleep being up is huge, that’s exactly what you want heading into peak week. Once carbs start coming back in and steps get tapered you’ll feel a big difference in fullness and recovery. Keep doing the small things right this week and you’ll roll into show day with momentum. @Reece

Coach has informed me training will actually stay on normal schedule for this last week. So hamstring dominant legs tomorrow, rest Thursday (just abs and sauna), then shoulders & arms Friday morning. Then the comp is on Saturday

Veggies fully dropped, protein lowered heavily, carbs tripled

Steps remain at 12K per day for now

No backing off with training just yet. Trained pull today

No changes to water just yet

Keeping a small limit of 200mg caffeine per day to reduce stress/inflammation and also help to relax and help sleep as much as I can for this last week since not working. Had a 200mg pre workout today and will do the same tomorrow. And once we pull training I will keep the 200mg in in the form of black coffee just for a little bit of a diuresis effect

I’m aware we will be running the same diet tomorrow too. But haven’t heard just yet anything about when output will be lowered. Just playing it day by day at the moment

Will do short little updates like this at the end of each day for you guys. Will obviously also let you know when we lower steps, back off training, and pull the injectables out

Side note, I do think my best look is fasted or after meal 1. Which really works well in my favour considering the mens show starts at 9am haha

Trained hammie dominant legs today. Actually did something pretty exciting and got some photos for a supplement company for something maybe happening in the near future 👀

Got a haircut yesterday too so all freshened up for the comp. First coat of tan goes on tomorrow arvo. So you won’t see it with tomorrows update (photos taken fasted of a morning) but will with Fridays

Changes to cycle:
This mornings injections were the last ones (gear and carnitine). Now no more until comp to avoid having any lumps. Orals still obviously in place and so is GH

Another short update boys as nothing has changed in terms of the plan. See you all tomorrow

Weight’s sitting right where it needs to be and carbs are still pushing fullness in nicely. Hammie session and the photo work is a cool bonus, timing couldn’t be better with the show coming up. Fresh cut and tan lined up means you’ll step on stage looking sharp, and smart move cutting the injections now to keep the look smooth. SOOOO CLOSE :D

Coach actually said today he’s not sure just yet if he will load me up or not as bodyweight is moving up and we’re filling up on not many carbs, which will keep the waist tight and make it easier to hold a vacuum

Steps still at 12K today. Tomorrow we will drop to just 10min digestion walk post meals and that’s all. So probably fall about 8K for the day total

Rest day with training today. Just went in and did my last lot of abs and last sauna before the comp. Plus some posing
