Veteran Log My Bulking Journey to 200lbs

It's the way to be bro. Having a job you enjoy like plumbing gives you more than money I think. I'm trying to retrain as a welder, I do volunteer labouring on a steamship and old guys who are retired engineers and boiler operators and welders teach me things as we go.

Hah, that's gonna be the answer to my problems too. My parents have been going to veitnam every year for that reason. First year they got full sets of dental implants for $5k. That's what one in Australia was quoted me. I opted for them to pull it out with a pair of pliers. That cost $900.

That’s the right mindset to take, getting back under the bar is the best reset you can give yourself. Start light, rebuild rhythm, and let training pull you out of the slump one session at a time. :D you look good in the pic ripped! @toddthelineman
 
Man there’s just no telling at this point. But I’m ok right now. According to today’s blood tests my kidneys have cleared the potassium and I’m ok. Probably give blood tomorrow.
Does the Apple watch have a AFib detector?

That would be good to check. Polar has a new fitness tracker bracelet and they are known for having the best sensors and algorithms

But I don’t know why my potassium is high and that’s very concerning. Could explain my recent lethargy. I haven’t even been eating bananas or potatoes or many avocados or anything I could think of with a lot of potassium and I don’t know why it’s like this. Well now I have to try to get it down and get more blood work. Very annoying.

I was not expecting out of range e2 at 150mg/ wk of test. I am taking Fadogia Agrestis. Maybe that works just like hcg. I guess I really have to take aromasin all the time. Annoying.

Definitely not starting any type of cycle or higher doses like this. And that’s fine. I’ve got a lot of room to grow without it still

Well. I’ve been peeing quite a lot. In between hospitals even. I watched my heart rate and blood pressure change in real time. Could be that potassium had everything whacky

It leaves questions for me too that bothers me those two different results. Hope you're able to the contrast stress test that will seal the deal on what's going on.
 
The first ekg showed “inverted T wave”
An inverted T wave can be cause by an electrolyte imbalance. Since your potassium was so skewed that's all it may have been and Kratom lowers the shit out of potassium so I think we've got this figured out in a round about way. Now that you've got it in check you're probably good but I'd get the contrast done in any case. The treadmill EKG and they inject you with the contrast dye kinda test, the good one.

It was brand new lol. When I do the show skiing pyramids, after the girls climb down, some stay really close, they climb down onto your shoulders, then put one leg over your head and slide down while doing a dip holding your arms until they are standing on your feet. If you’re in the middle, your girls are small, maybe even kids. I’m on the side, usually carrying 2nd tier grown women so this one had hips and sort of turned sideways. There’s only so much room between my arms holding the handle (grip getting fatigued by this point) and the watch got popped off somehow. I see a lot of my buddies wearing their giant AW Ultras every time. Needed a better band I guess.

@toddthelineman we have ski clubs at local lakes here. i never cared for it. seems like a lot of fun to do though but i worry about gators

Look up “mad city five high pyramid” there’s some cool GoPro POV views. I have never skied in a five high pyramid, but if we build one next year I will be. Seriously difficult team work that requires dedication, guts, talent, from everyone but the driver is the star always. Only a handful of teams in the world can do it.

How I got into it: the teams are nonprofits. I had 300 hours of community service to do and was fortunate enough to find out they needed help with all kinds of things. They were like “what can you do?” I said “anything, work on boats, trailers, docks, I can figure anything out” so they gave me a shot and I made a deal that I would work all summer. Eventually they needed more men to carry girls for a bigger pyramid and this chick was like, “you look like you could do it, grab skis, a rope, a wetsuit, and meet me on the dock” she was one of the best skiers in the world at that time. The rest is history

I was very very bad at it for a long time but it’s so fun and the harder something is the mere obsessive I become. You really need to get into these kinds of things as a child but then you get burned out. Seen it happen a lot

have you heard of a place called Cypress Gardens? a it closed down years ago but it was a theme park in FL about 40 minutes from Orlando. they supposedly had the best ski team in the world there (atleast they advertised that).. i remember watching it when i was younger it was quite good

That is a really cool story right there. And it's amazing how that volunteer community service paid off for you to find a hobby.

And one of our late drivers drove there, his son skied there, was a show director there, was our show director, and his wife was there too. His son became a pro at Tommy Bartlett’s in Wisconsin and we shared ownership of the boat for a summer as we trained him to go there, I was like, just happy to be there, those kids were unbelievably talented, like barefooting really confidently at six years old.

I believe there’s actually still a ski show. It was at Lego land, and if I heard right cypress gardens still exists as an amateur team, like our team, a non profit show. Rather than a “pro show”. And they are still very good shows.

Terrible money. And there’s almost no pro shows left. Tommy Bartlet, Indiana Beach, Cypress Gardens, all closed. I don’t know if there’s a way to make a paycheck by showskiing anymore. Maybe one in Texas. There was one in Japan hiring. But it’s for real like 30k a year and you just wind up marrying into wealthy families. That was the thing I saw a lot. But also you meet so many freaking amazing and resourceful people. It’s a charmed life for some

It’s a pretty demanding hobby hahaha. It’s definitely a whole life for some. And it’s crazy, because I only pay like $250 a year to be in the team, but I do a lot of work and we fundraiser $100s of thousands and last year a m m m million dollars! Because boats and things are just expensive as all hell. So if you just love skiing and want to do it as a hobby on your own, it’s like 20-120k for a proper tournament ski boat, you can pay less but you’ll just be paying later. Then it’s pretty easy to spent $80 a day on gas. And depending on what you do, like wake surfing, waaaaay more. And you’re going to need a real truck to tow it, and at least three people to go every time. So a lot of show skiers don’t even have a boat. Don’t need it. They ski for hours every day for peanuts. The best thing is to have a friend with a ski boat. They will always want to go and need friends to go with and most ain’t even care if you have gas money. If you can drive the boat reasonably you’re the VIP always. I’ve gotten people seriously hooked on skiing it’s a blast! Brings the kid out of you

Hey everybody, I’m starting this second log a little early. I want to have a good plan lined out for putting on some real mass. I’m not in a big hurry to do it, I want to stay healthy and avoid injury while adding mostly muscle and gaining strength over fall and winter and I hope to hold onto it through 2026 summer, which will be the biggest challenge. I don’t need to be dick skin lean, 10% ish would be great. I’ve never not had a flat stomach and visible abs and as long as that stays the same the bulk will continue!

I’m currently 185 pounds at 5’11”, but at the best of my last log I was 180 and almost as lean as I’ve ever been with that much muscle.

My job is strenuous and can be very catabolic with the constant work, sometimes a lot of steps, running, climbing, pulling, and sometimes missed meals.

I’m also an avid waterskier and practice and competitions get in the way of weight training at the height of summer, and that is 100% worth it to me.

I don’t have a cycle planned out as of yet but Test E, Deca, and Primo are what I’m looking to run.
Maybe 300/100/200 and AI if I need it, but hopefully not.

I have been using mk677 and I like it so far, I plan to use it in this cycle to keep me eating consistently high calories and really high protein.

From my recent logs, I probably need at least 5000 calories a day and at least 400 grams of protein to grow, but I was hitting that almost every single day while logging and I really wasn’t eating much different than I always do and I was still not budging the scale, so I’m going to look back through my log thoroughly and chart the numbers to make my plan.

HCgenerate possibly, and N2Guard definitely.

I’m not starting the cycle until I have good bloodwork showing that I’m healthy. I have struggled with liver enzymes on almost all of the bloodwork I’ve ever had, but everything else on my last bloodwork was satisfactory.
Im no expert brother, but from what I’ve experienced and read. Your protein intake seems way to high, which leaves out room for carbs for intense weightlifting close to failure. If your not at least close to failure your just moving your body. Since your ouput is high and body comp is low body fat at worst of times, to me sounds like the protein total is extreme. Anywhere you go 2grams per KG bodyweight Or equivalent metric is the normal high end. Some cases higher but not that high. Proteins harder to physically eat usually takes longer and then more to digest..could also be your digestion do you eat things like pineapple and dates? or use digestive enzymes to asisst absorbtion? Eat all we want if our body does not or cant take it in it will get pooped out or block us up. I havent read this thread yet ill start looking through it. Not trying to tell you what to do do but some thoughts if you havent alrdy. I jnow this was started a few months ago. Will read through your log over time. The the fun things you do and the weight lifting are contradicting activities so your automatically going to have a harder time adding muscle. But if you do will always be lean so definitely has some perks about it. I realised this log is big so its gna take me some time to look at it. Im keen to see the progress and what you come up with having such high output outside of weights

My digestion has gotten progressively better and I can eat most things now, I have some pretty high carb days but not consistently. I am actually eating with no real plan, no goals, I meal prep a little and I just eat. Pretty shameful habits hahaha. I’m really not a bodybuilder at all. Just a guy living a lifestyle really.

No, not Australia. I live in Midwest USA.

The high protein thing is maybe different for different people.
In my first log, I lowered my dose from 250mg/wk to 150mg/wk as I recall. And I started tracking and making sure I got 400g a day instead of binging one day and eating less the next. It was a pretty stark difference in body composition and a look I had never quite gotten to before.
Could I have done that more conventionally? Probably! And if I ate even more carbs maybe I would have grown but I’m not so sure. Five years ago I couldn’t have eaten many carbs at all. I was carnivore and anything else really tore me up. So I’m just used to it. It’s a really expensive way to eat that’s for sure

It takes practice and it helps to have really good instruction, tournament boat, smooth water, etc.

We host clinics and we’ll do just about anything to give the participants some success. Like four people in the water with you, and a skier on each side to hold you up hahaha. If you can get up, you can ski. When you’re new to it it usually makes your back really sore. Takes a lot of time to get your hips forward and feeling comfortable.

It’s great of you love a challenge because there’s no limit. Two skis too easy? Now do one ski. Now a trick ski with no fins, you can turn around and ski backwards. Get wide skis and carry a girl. I used to ski out of the water with my gf on my back and she’d climb over and make out with me hahaha.

Fadogia Agrestis is like an herbal supplement that has a similar effect as HCG. Bigger nuts, bigger loads, and for some people like me, I really think it helps my mood. I used hcg for years and my e2 was too high the whole time. So I add HCGenerate(Fadogia based test booster with many other ingredients) or just Fadogia Agrestis that I’ve used before. I’ll take a bottle and then take a week or two off and if I feel not like myself I get another bottle

MK677 is a HGH secretagogue. If you take it at night it signals HGH sectretion very noticeably, and you will sleep and recover well and have decent muscle fullness. If you take it during the day you’ll be hungry like REALLY HUNGRY and sleepy hahaha. It’s orally available so very convenient to travel with and very easy on the pocket compared to HGH. I think the effects of 10mg a night are similar to 1, maybe 2 iu of rHGH. I haven’t gotten high blood pressure or carpal tunnel from it. I’m a huge fan. It’s not exactly the same as HGH, but it’s so close, so convenient, it’s kind of better. I literally have most of a kit of serostim and I don’t bother to use it. I’ll save it for an injury or something when I know I’m going to be home and don’t have to bring it in a cooler and all that hassle

Mk677, Haha i have 0 issues eating more food although ive never bulked properly so its might be useful when clean bulking in my new phase. Helps with sleep really! I meed anything i can get and is there oral and injection versions? Any major issues with mk677 to be aware of?

If nothing else can get the enzymes down, what are they even worth? I took NAC, TUDCA, milk thistle, injectable glutathione. Wasn’t working. That cost a lot!

nutrobal is like a sarm but its not a sarm. i don't know if any of these sarms will get approved. i don't think any of them have so far @toddthelineman

@toddthelineman yeah n2guard does work. i think there are tens of thousands of supps out there and 99% of them don't do a thing. but n2guard is one of those 1% that actually do work

I dumped enough kratom to last me at least a year. I don’t need it. It’s served its purpose
So it’s day four. I’ve found more green powder because I’m a hoarder lol I just keep throwing it away. I have always wondered what is going on with people who claim to have had horrible addictions to this stuff. I took it every single day for years. Sometimes an ounce a day, but not lately, just 10g maybe an extra 2.5g on a long day. I feel fine. I don’t feel better, I don’t feel worse. I feel just normal. I can feel things more, like the burn from lifting or my feet were cold when I was all wet riding 43mph in a boat when it was 42°f.
 
I guess I’ll get back under the bar tomorrow. My last Apple Watch fell in the river. I’ll have to get another and maybe in the unlikely chance that I have another scare I’ll know more and be able to do something about it. Still feel like shit, but I don’t suppose that’s going to improve until I make it improve.

Good setup, test and primo at 50 mg each keeps levels balanced with deca at 90 mg for joint support. The 5 mg cialis daily is a solid choice for blood flow and BP control. But where is your primobolan from? @toddthelineman

Sleep at 6 hours will limit recovery, but you're not able to take naps at work right?
Keep training a bit higher volume with cardio if you can.

Oh it’s pharmaqo from domestic supply. I got it quite a while ago, I only have two vials unfortunately but it’s such a gentle steroid, it’s just the thing for me right now. As I’m building it will have to become EQ, which I’ve never tried, and I’ll be taking less of that and more test. 500/250 is the plan and continuing a minimal amount of deca of my mood stays good. Proviron seems to work. One odd thing that actually has been harkening since before I started the cycle is night sweats. Once a night I’m soaking everything. Even during a couple naps. I don’t normally do that

Night sweats can come from fluctuating e2 or thyroid response, not just the compounds. 500/250 with eq or primo?

Add bloodwork soon for e2, prolactin, and thyroid to find the trigger.

Maybe you're going hypo overnight? Ur running GH and eating low/no carb right.

I switched back to mk677, and more like carb cycling. I don’t really eat much carbs if I’m not doing much, and I let my cravings lead me. You may very well be right. Might look into a cgm just out of curiosity

There’s for sure complex things happening in my body rn. Proviron and increased test and primo sure feels good. I’m still blown away that I could just drop kratom like that. Even though I did it before. Pharmacologically it doesn’t make sense. I’ve been beating my dopamine receptors like they owe me money for years. But the sweats started before any of that. I’m not feeling the irrational hunger you get from daytime mk677, but I’m also not skiing like a full time job, lifting very heavy yet, or working anywhere near full capacity.

I didn’t have central air so I was sweating so much hahaha. Chick I was seeing wouldn’t even stay over anymore hahaha. It was in the shower only and then she’d go home 😂

I decided to use the primo that I have because I know for sure that I like it and I don’t react badly to it in any way. EQ I’ve never done, but I gather it can be pretty strong. I’m not sure I need that kind of fire power just yet.

Do you usually count proviron when adding up total weekly androgens? If so, I’m already at 965mg/wk. more than triple the amount of anything I’ve taken for a sustained time. I feel muuuuuuch better. But it hasn’t even been a week yet.

Aw naw she was great. I just talked to her last week. But I’m glad she didn’t move in hahaha. She’s a bartender. It wouldn’t work out.

Best thing about living with my kids is they keep the strays away. All the chicks I get are scared of my kids.

I wouldn't think about totals and stuff too too much. Even if 25mg of Proviron shoots your total up by 175mg a week I wouldn't sweat it. It doesn't, but even if it did it's not a biggie

Yeah I feel pretty good about it. Everything seems fine. The one time I hit 500mg test I felt freaking amazing but I wasn’t prepared for the e2 at all. I’m definitely holding water. 188 pounds and my shirts don’t fit.
