I had to take 2 days off. Feeling like a total piece of shit for doing it. With my Grandma passing and finding out a buddy over dosed, my head just hasn't been in it the last 2 days.

Outside of that, I've been feeling super bloated this whole week. After looking at my supps, they mostly all have "hydration support" in the way of salts and other stuff. With me drinking a gallon of water a day, should I look to switch my bcaa and pre workout to a less salty formula? Any other reasons I could be so bloated? I only ate 1.5 meals the 2 days. Had eggs, ham, and part of a bagel today. Then a bowl of pork loin Green Chili, no cheese or anything. Feel so full I almost feel sick. Considering going on a 3 day fast to kick start my digestion again. Possibly the psyllium husk filling me up?

sorry to hear about your grandma and buddy. I’ve lost allot of people that’s were close to me because of opioids. Two days off your body will probably like it. Honestly you will probably come back and be able to lift a little more. I get really busy and work long hours at work. My gym life takes a small hit Like instead of going 5 days a week when I’m working my 13 hours shifts i go every other day it sucks but need the rest. Rest era is just as important as diet and training. When i get back to my five day routine I can usally bump everything up a couple pounds or couple extra reps

Sorry to hear about your buddy and your grandma bro. That's a lot to deal with all at once. Time will help and for now just gotta push on as best you can.

Bcaa's are a waste of money. What you wanna get us EAAs instead. You need all the aminos working together to have the intended effects.

How much salt you drink really depends on how much salt you eat. Based on the meal above you probably have a decent amount of sodium in your diet so maybe backing off on the hydration support might be a good option. It would be best if you just don't get the hydration support stuff and control your sodium intake yourself with some pink salt when needed.

The support in general in this group has been huge. I just want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. As men, even with spouses, we feel like we are on this island. This group makes you realize you are surround by an ocean full of great people. Thank you.

Ok. Ill drop it for a week and see if I start feeling normal again. Ive done 24, 36, 48 hour fasts before but I wasnt working out and wasnt consuming mass amounts of electrolytes.

Thank you man. This fent epidemic is crazy. I think we've lost around 10 people the last 3 years.
Same, some days I work in to the night and im so sore I can barely move the next day. Ill just chalk these up as rest days and get back after it.

Good call giving your body a week to reset. Long fasts plus hard training and heavy electrolyte use can easily throw off how you feel even if macros look clean on paper.

You’re doing it right by easing off and letting things normalize before stacking stressors again.

That's what but didnt know. I usually take over a 1000 mgs with Baja Gold salt and never felt like this.

Im thinking its the husk. Didn't take it yet today and I have felt slightly normal so far. Will do a half dose before bed and see how I feel tomorrow. If I still feel super bloated im going to take the weekend off of the husk and see what happens.

1000mgs is too much, you have to go slow with it.
 
@InstallsPipe Start with 3 caps ed n2guard for 2 weeks before you increase dose. You might be fine with a smaller amount.

Haha ya for sure. Experience beats "knowledge" 99% of the time. Engineers vs tradesman haha. Trust the guys who are doing this everyday not sitting in front of a computer.

@ceo I do actually get out a couple times a week with my daughter but its not super intense. Typically longer rides to different playgrounds. Close to the mountains so its almost all up hill. Its getting cold here so outside work is getting limited.

also warming up properly is crucial. and of course stretching is too. with the back your spine health is very important cause gravity is always kicking our asses @InstallsPipe
Ive been doing pre/post stretch warm up/cool down. Properly however, that could definitely be where the pieces are falling apart. Damn gravity.

@ceo I do actually get out a couple times a week with my daughter but its not super intense. Typically longer rides to different playgrounds. Close to the mountains so its almost all up hill. Its getting cold here so outside work is getting limited.

Had a jacked up work schedule today. Came home and hopped on my bike though. rode for 45 minutes.

Thanks man. Im not sure where to draw the line of higher reps vs higher weight. Not even gonna lie. A.I. built my routine but im trying to customize it and add weight/reps where needed.
Generally speaking you want 3-4 exercises 3-4 sets with at least 2 being drop sets for a guy your size :D
 
I feel pretty good fasted most days. I notice the days I dont enough protein the day before though. Also the pre/caffeine get me a little too jacked up sometimes haha. Talk myself back to reality.
I ditched pre-workout, had to taper off of it but i have great pumps and workouts. Sometimes i will eat a handful of dried cranberries pre workout, i feel a quick shot of carbs gets me feeling great! Sometimes even a handful of gold bear gummy bears makes me rage in the gym, don't over-do it tho shit is crazy hahaha! Make sure you factor in the macros for the day! @InstallsPipe

For sure, man. Unless they're like high school kids who are really gifted and know supplement stuff.

Fell off the wagon again. I couldn't move over the weekend because my back was locked up. Pretty much stuck to the couch. Ill be ordering some bpc and tb today to try and push through this. Test showed up so that was nice. Dragon has been taking forever to ship out my Reta. N2 showed up yesterday. Will be on track to hit 420mg of test this week. Pinned .3ml/200mg daily so far to get my base in. Will be dialing back to twice a week next week @ 400mg total. Im going to be skipping any kind of non supported leg work. Machine only. I will also be going to see a decompression clinic to see if that helps.

Smart plan keeping leg work on machines only till your back loosens up. Be careful please with injuries. @InstallsPipe
Good call ordering BPC and TB, that combo with decompression should speed recovery fast.

Dragon has been taking forever to ship out my Reta. N2 showed up yesterday.

I'm going to be more careful staying on top of reodering with reta next time. I have a 30mg bottle this time (thanks to @Life-Forge who I log reta for) but got into a bit of a panic thinking I couldn't afford it and evaluating the options in NZ was brutal, another source quoted me $600 for 15mg.

I'm very thankful I have the relationship with Life Forge - I've atcually only been through 2 x 10mg bottles in total my whole time on it. I upped my dose to 2.5mg from 2mg still EOD pins but when I got the new bottle yesterday I did a 1mg pin.

Sweet you got n2guard! I got some in the mail finally too. Those boxes for the test cyp look real cool :)

Damn bro sorry to hear about the back. I'm guessn you're a plumber too? That would be rough with what you guys do.

@InstallsPipe Your scan looks promising... your bodyfat isn't that high at all and you're in a good spot to keep dropping some bodyfat while maintaining the muscle you have.

Hoping core will help my back later down the road.

This injury has been hard to escape. One day at a time though.
@InstallsPipe Have you considered some healing peptides for your back? BPC/TB? Might be a good investment. They healed my torn tendons.
 
Ok cool. Just wanted to clarify. When I went to the supp store, the owner was saying n2 wasnt necessary unless I was on orals. Ill do the 3 pills ed for 2 weeks then adjust. Thank you

I'm stacking HCGenerate with N2Guard. N2Guard is practically a necessity with oral so you're buddy at the supp store is half correct. Injectables still fuck with your lipids and all other blood markers too though so N2Guard can mitigate that and there's bloodwork on here proving it.

And as for HCGenerate... holy shit! I've been on it now for about 6 weeks and my balls are huge, my loads are porn star loads and make my girl gag because it hits her uvula and I'm literally getting acne now from the endogenous test which I never got on cycle. It's like I'm a horny teenager again. It should be touted as a 'load booster' amongst it's other accolades.
