@PrinceDaddy yes dehydration can throw off blood work, but how were you dehydrated during the fast? you drank electrolytes and water correct?

Can you share the bloods please.

The tightness is MUCH better after the fast, you really tightened up big time. Fasting is really working for you.

I have a question for you. My weight range today was 174-178. Given my pictures, I know I still have fat to lose. What do you think my target stage weight should be?

Looking at your pics almost impossible to tell, dont see lower back or total bodyfat. It looks good from the front range but back lower seems where you hold the fat. @PrinceDaddy

Getting very hot in Texas as usual. Felt a little beat down today. Slept very well yesterday. I am seeing people mention MOTS-C seems to help with sleep apnea. I am seeing the same.

I have been doing the OMAD pretty much every day except Tues/Thurs. Last week of course I did the 36 hour fast so Thursday was another fast.
Today was weird not fasting. I had a protein shake, some nuts, and some sesame sticks. I had one package to finish. I feel like the satiation effect was not in effect. Maybe just eating out of boredom. Regardless, I am back to fasting tomorrow. I also am adjust Thursday to an early OMAD window. I was also drinking quite a bit today, likely maybe the saltiness of snack or just the dehydration from the Texas heat.

@PrinceDaddy I can see you're much leaner and tighter than last show even. :D OMAD and fasting is helping a lot. I would do another 36 hour fast in your situation. Clearly your bloat is down from it.

I'll do my update later today, I'm also feeling like it is anabolic in the sense that your muscles become fuller due to insulin sensitivity. My weight seems to be holding steady, but I am seeing the body get tighter and no loss of strength at the gym.

I don't really like 36 hour fast, but I did like just freeing up time last Thursday not cooking any dinner. So tomorrow I am going to fast, but move the OMAD to the early part of the day. So, I will have pre-work out protein meal between 4-5AM. My walk is usually around 9-11:30 AM. I will have my evening meal at 1pm, then begin the next fast around 2PM and continue to 5PM the next day. So basically a 27 hour fast.

I was supposed to register for the NPC Masters Nationals. As it turns out the promoter has removed the late fees. Today was the last day to register to avoid the late fees. So, I will register for my NPC card and the show on July 11th. No need to spend the money till its time to spend the money.

NPC Membership : $150
NPC Masters Over 50 BB : $300
NPC Masters Over 55 CP : $300
NPC Masters Over 55 MP : $300

So, a total of $1050 in entry fees.

Tanning is $165

Hotel : $742.14
Airfare : $324.97

Bodybuilding at a national show is not cheap. Total outlay not including food, transfers is $2282.11. I have been doing this since 2019. I enjoy it. I meet great like minded individuals. I feel like I improve every year or at least learn a few new tricks.

I hope this is my year. No matter what, I will make the most of it. It's a privilege to have the opportunity to do something you love.

Not quite a fast, but a calorie reduction in effect as I am skipping dinner this evening. I did have lunch however. Just kind of moving things around. Tomorrow is a OMAD fast with a meal in the evening. I did not realize how much time I spend food prep/eating/cleaning up. Easily 2 hours. Instead I can take a break and watch a movie. Going to watch The accountant on Prime. Been wanting to see it, just never have time.

Bodybuilding at a national show is not cheap. Total outlay not including food, transfers is $2282.11. I have been doing this since 2019. I enjoy it. I meet great like minded individuals. I feel like I improve every year or at least learn a few new tricks.

I hope this is my year. No matter what, I will make the most of it. It's a privilege to have the opportunity to do something you love.

I do have vial of 10mg Carglinitide, I am thinking of putting it in play on Monday. Just do 1mg weekly and see what I feel.

I am leaning out, but not lean enough in my eyes. I still have fat in the glutes/love handles/belly. Does feel like it is thinning out. I hope I don't end up with a lot of loose skin.

Next season, the delts should be your main focus to grow and thicken down to bowling ball size.

Was surprised to wake up at 176. I felt like I was stalling on the weight loss. I see my arms thinning out. I still have the belly distention but the conditioning is coming. Great strength in my workouts today. I have been focusing on delts. I just can't seem to get them to grow.

I will start the cagrlinitide on Tuesday. 1mg/weekly. I figure I can try it and see how I feel and its set up for both shows. Very vascular.

Yes I’ve heard this works for under eye bags. But will it work well for larger areas. And it’s temporary as far as I understand but quick fix, That would be great. I have this prob around my inner thighs with the weight loss. Collagen supposed to help as well. Keep up the good work @PrinceDaddy 💪

I've used it. It does tighten the skin, but its temporary. You just really have to have carbs and be full. That will push the skin out. Also you just don't want to squeeze to hard.

Thanks everyone for you support and words of encouragement. I am my worst critic and probably have a little body dysmorphia. I just have a vision of what I want to see and I don't see it yet. I'm working hard. We'll see how it shapes up. If not this first show, I definitely think I can nail it for the second show.

For some odd reason, I seem to be having sleep trouble on Sunday evenings. Maybe the Sunday workout, maybe just sleeping in. I ended up just getting up early and hitting the gym earlier. Got a great back workout. A little gassed towards the end but got it done.

Very hot in Texas. Woke up heaver than yesterday, so weight seems to be holding steady, but after the walk dropped down to 172.

Going to keep grinding. Will take more pictures as I do like my look coming in.

Tomorrow, non-fasting day. Only one day of non fasting at this point. Will prep and take 1mg Cagrlinitide to see what I feel from it. As mentioned food noise is coming back in the evening.

Still waiting on Estradiol on the blood work, will post when full results are available.

I'm working hard. We'll see how it shapes up. If not this first show, I definitely think I can nail it for the second show.

For some odd reason, I seem to be having sleep trouble on Sunday evenings. Maybe the Sunday workout, maybe just sleeping in. I ended up just getting up early and hitting the gym earlier. Got a great back workout. A little gassed towards the end but got it done.

Very hot in Texas. Woke up heaver than yesterday, so weight seems to be holding steady, but after the walk dropped down to 172.

Going to keep grinding. Will take more pictures as I do like my look coming in.

Tomorrow, non-fasting day. Only one day of non fasting at this point. Will prep and take 1mg Cagrlinitide to see what I feel from it. As mentioned food noise is coming back in the evening.

Still waiting on Estradiol on the blood work, will post when full results are available.
You have come to the right place for body dysmorphia, we all have it. :D many bodybuilders don't talk about it but we all have our own versions. Weight feels like it is stalling and food noise seems to be coming back. I still think the Reta and MOTS-C is working, but last week's 36 hour fast was 2 steps ahead whereas this week was back to one step ahead. I do feel strong at the gym. I do have vial of 10mg Carglinitide, I am thinking of putting it in play on Monday. Just do 1mg weekly and see what I feel.

I am leaning out, but not lean enough in my eyes. I still have fat in the glutes/love handles/belly. Does feel like it is thinning out. I hope I don't end up with a lot of loose skin.

@PrinceDaddy yeah it is really tough to fast in the heat. your body is expelling so many minerals and water that makes it harder to get it back. i hate fasting during the summer

My natural shape. I just have distention. I have to learn to hide it. Also have to be a bit fasted. Problem is if it is too much I end up with loose skin on the abs. Old man problems.

Ended up being much slower at the gym this morning. Got a workout. Not my best, but got it done. I think this may be the constant grind and heat.

No effect from Cagrlinitide yet that I can tell. I took my normal Reta 2mg dose today.

Still waiting on Estradiol results on the blood work.

I like how my mid-section tightens up when I take off the weight trainer. Problem is it is temporary and also my skin tends to sag. I did at one competition and did not like the look. So, I do not wear on show day. I think just being fasted and dry would be better. Will take some pictures this evening.

My typical day is get up AM and go to the gym. I get back home and will usually go do a 2 hour walk with my neighbor. Afterwards, I shower and clean up. I'll put on the waist trainer at that point. Usually around lunch time. I will keep it on till I go to bed around 9pm.

In that duration, I'm on my computer, running errands, watching TV, cooking and or eating.

You kind of want it firm, but not too tight. If it's too tight you'll just be squeezed, maybe get heartburn. If you have it right it just keep your core tight.

I think it also kind of like the GLP keeps you full, you don't overeat in the sense you start pushing out and getting heartburn or acid feeling.

It is as if my midsection is a Hershey's kiss shape. I'm hoping it pulls in some more. I really want to see the belly button abs.
