Adding 1 cup cookies jasmine rice and 20g dates to meals 1,2,3.
Pre workout and post workout meals adding 8 rice cakes with 1tsp honey on each rice cake. Plus 20g dates.
Keeping protein and veg sources and amount the same.
I’m really keen for this, should bring back some fullness which I’m looking forward to, plus a juicy pump training pull day tomorrow. Then hopefully will also help the weight keep moving down

Felt like I woke up very full after the high day haha. We ended up running two high days back to back. Monday and Tuesday (photos below taken Tuesday morning fasted) now we are back to baseline diet. Coach is sampling how we will look over the next couple days as we do a post training posing video daily. Then he thinks we will likely try another high day next week so we can see how long after the high day is my best look and aim that for show day
Really happy with how much my front relaxed and front double filled out with those extra carbs in me
Strength was also slightly up in the gym both high days which was nicenow back to digging

But I got a bit carried away… after the gym for my last meal I grabbed a burger and chips from decently clean place, but also smashed some banana bread on the way home

I will say both my pull session which was on the high day, and my push session the day after had good energy, strength and pump. But definitely noticed the extra food in my stomach when bracing hard

I definitely agree with the feet soreness brother. I noticed when I had 35mins stairmaster plus 12K steps yep my feet were tired getting into bed each night. So like during the day I can slug out the no energy, but I want energy for my training haha can’t slug that out. Stress has been slightly lower knowing that I get two weeks off work once this week is over. But at the same time a little bit up trying to get everything sorted for work before I leave
As of today just looking at the cost of nationals I’m unsure if I will do it anymore. Maybe just do QLD state titles. As nationals will cost me another $2K which I don’t have so would be borrowing. Which I think is a bit much to be borrowing. Rego fees, fan, flights and a cheap hotel shared with a mate come to a total of $1700. Then obviously needing taxi/uber to and from airport. Aswell as to venue and gym will easily take it to over $2K
So currently a bit unsure of nationals, but QLD is definitely still happening. Will update you all again on the weekend and let you know about nationals. IMO I think if you can afford it go to nationalsAlso lads forgot to add, have increased sauna from twice a week to 5 times per week.
Previously has just doing on my 2 rest days per week. But as of Monday coach said to start doing a bit more. So now doing on my 2 rest days, aswell as post workout on my upper body days. Only days not doing it is on my 2 leg days per week and reason being is due to time restraints more then anything else
I asked coach if it’ll help dry me out. He said not so much, but more just to help recovery, reduce inflammation and help stress, which is what we need most right now

Just a quick update from me about nationals. It will not be going ahead just because of the cost and I messed up by not saving for it. But that’s okay, I know I will do nationals in a future comp prep season and be in with an even better chance
QLD state titles is still a go ahead of coursefinal little deplete happening on these low carb days
Coach has informed me we will be running a high carb day as of Monday (peak week)

Weight is dropping right on track and holding strength through that last quad day is a good sign. Adding in the winstrol for this final stretch should give a little extra polish even if it’s only a week’s worth. Stress being down and sleep being up is huge, that’s exactly what you want heading into peak week. Once carbs start coming back in and steps get tapered you’ll feel a big difference in fullness and recovery. As of tomorrow (Monday, peak week) we will start carbing up

50mg Winstrol added per day (split 25mg AM and PM) as of this morning, just for these last 7 days leading into show. It’s only going in so late because wasn’t originally in the plan, but my mate had some left over that he was willing to give me and got approval from coach so even though it’s only 7 days worth, still could help the look slightly and didn’t have to pay for it
Finished my last day of work on Friday, now have 2 weeks off. This has honestly dropped heaps of stress by itself and I’ve actually had far better sleeps over the past 3 nights. Really surprised me as to how much better they have been from a drop in stress. Which is great because that’s exactly what coach wants to focus on leading into comp is dropping stress
Finished my last hard quad day on Saturday (7 days out) and it was great, maintained all strength numbers on the main lifts, only drop was at the very end of the session the leg extensions had a one rep drop on each of the three sets (maintained same weight) due to being on the low carb depletion days these last couple days. But I was hoping I held up my numbers on everything else and mainly the hack squat
Haven’t heard anything just yet from coach about when deloading will start with training / steps but I’d say it will be within the next couple of days. Start tapering down steps and I’d probably predict Wednesday to be the last hard training session
First coat of tan is on Thursday. Will get a haircut on Wednesday morning then get some photos for a potential supplement company sponsor
I’m thinking over this last week I will do daily posts for you guys just to keep you updated in terms on what changes are happening to the plan as it’ll most likely change daily. In terms of escalation of carbs, reduction in steps, reduction in training, what day we will stop all injections, if anything changes with orals once injections are pulled, and also how the body is responding each day filling up and drying out.

Trained hammie dominant legs today. Actually did something pretty exciting and got some photos for a supplement company for something maybe happening in the near future
Got a haircut yesterday too so all freshened up for the comp. First coat of tan goes on tomorrow arvo. So you won’t see it with tomorrows update (photos taken fasted of a morning) but will with Fridays
Changes to cycle:
This mornings injections were the last ones (gear and carnitine). Now no more until comp to avoid having any lumps. Orals still obviously in place and so is GH
